The aliens only drown in water. It's not their magical weakness. There's an alien in this film which follows the protagonists underwater in a subway but then drowns because it's too deep. Hence why all the other aliens avoid a deep river like the Hudson.

In my opinion, she did just fine, it's not like she was going to live any longer anyway. I also think saving the law student guy in the end was pretty noble of her. Although one thing I didn't like about her was how she was such an asshole to the old people and to the pharmacist guy back at the hospital, that made it very hard to empathize with her.
I just find it hilarious that in the first movie the dad had all those clippings about the aliens that he was using to try and find their weakness... and one of them is a copy of the New York Post mentioning that they hunt by sound... Meanwhile in THIS movie... New York is finished in a day... hardly tim to get a paper into print and circulation...
The problem i had with the first movie was that we saw too much of the creature too early. The part where the kids toy makes noise and it grabs him. It's not full lingering shot but it still gave too much away.
I liked this movie. Refreshing after four years of non stop lecturing and virtue signaling by every movie it was good that characters race had nothing to do with the story.

They were WHISPERING inside the church which had running water in the middle, the 5000 people quickly got annihilated lmao and the pizza was only a symbol for her overall good childhood memories. The shitty taste literally didn't matter. The cat being too quiet is a fair criticism though.

I was under the impression the movies are taking place in sort of a parallell reality. There is no military, no traces of any society` it was like an enclosed reality. WIthout any real connection to your usual modern day society burdens` nor any diversity of any kind.

While the other 2 movies were entertaining, especially because of the good acting, this story and these aliens make no sense. Funny review which is par for the course. Beyond the woke casting what is the reason for making this movie? Hollywood just isn't capable of creativity these days. First movie had a standard premise including an alien Achilles heel but had some things going for it to make it a surprise success. It wasn't Alien and trying to turn it into a franchise isn't going to work especially if the path forward is to put a chick in it and make her gay.

The story about her terminal illness is decent. Other people try to survive and she wants to live one final good day. It's a good twist for a post-apocalypse franchise.

The story about her terminal illness is decent. Other people try to survive and she wants to live one final good day. It's a good twist for a post-apocalypse franchise.

Watched it for 20 minutes and turned it off.
It’s just shite compared to the other films.
I gave up but it had the usual reasons I hate these types of modern films Written all over it.

Woke is when race or gender are main selling points or parts of the movie or show, like the acolyte or most marvel movies. Nowhere in this movie is either thing mentioned or significant at all. I like your channel and most of your content but honestly this review reeks of being terminally online.
legit this entire video and the comments make me realize just how terminally online all these ppl are. woke has been steamrolled into a pointless term where ppl can just unleash their blatant racism at any character in a modern movie that isn't white. the movie doesn't even have any of the points that they claim is ruining modern movies (DEI, white man hating, lesbian MC, etc.)

No because everyone here is just being racist. No one was homeless, there was no “monster fighting girlboss” she never fought them they were running from them most of the movie, one of the main characters was a white male so what men hating are they talking about ?
