  • The Epson SureColor F100 is an A4 sublimation printer that's budget and beginner friendly and SO easy to setup and start creating with. It's a dedicated sublimation printer, so no converting necessary - everything works perfectly, straight out of the box.

Thanks Sarah, by chance I found you. I might buy an f-100 so it was very nice to see your presentation. I'm a little scared as I'm 80+ who will try to pass the time with a little sublimation of mostly mugs for friends and acquaintances. Good luck. You were very nice to listen to.

I'm pleased that the video was helpful! That sounds brilliant, mugs are such a fun craft too. I'm sure you will get on well with the SureColor F100 and you can always reach out if you need help with anything 😁

Everything worked really great! I always use parchment paper. It's inexpensive and disposable.

Thank you for this tutorial. I recently purchased the same printer. I am guessing that you can print any image as long as you print from your sublimation printer , should work for your project. Do you agree?

what other/better software do you recommend for the printer you are using please?

I would usually use Adobe Photoshop for printable projects like this.

@@CraftWithSarah thank you. Would Affinity Designer be a good software alternative to photoshop please?

@@K_I_S_G Affinity Designer is a vector based program so it would be good for designing your own SVG files. If you are looking only to use sublimation then Procreate may be a good alternative.

@@CraftWithSarah thank you. I went for Affinity designer, 50% off at the moment also

You need to quick press the material first to get the moisture out before sublimating. Try butcher paper on top and bottom. No wax butcher paper

Use a lint roller on the surface beforehand. Did you use sublimation paper? Great job, by the way.

@@peggypipkins2267 I didn't for this trial run as I didn't have any, but I've bought some now ready for the next time :D

Which brand of paper did you use ?

For this video I just used regular printer paper, but proper sublimation paper would probably have worked better. I've bought some for the next time I give the printer a try.

I'm afraid that I do not speak French, so I can't create French versions of the videos or write the subtitle/closed captions in French.
