I have the the updated version of this tab and it comes with two face plates now, one with and one without the shelf. The plastic looks nicer with a smoother texture now. I liked it so much I bought my daughter one as well and she likes hers very much too. There's also a optional extra metal face plate with a shelf called the "pro plate" which has a nice stain chrome finish on it. Some stores have the sizing ring available which my supplier had so it was easy to get the right size.
Just out of curiosity, what size tab are you using? I just ordered one but if i get the small it seems about right for the leather on my fingers, but the medium palm area feels comfortable, but the finger part migbt be a little long? Would it be a good or bad idea to cut the leather if need be, or should i just go with a small, prob not a easy question to answer, as you cant see my hands lol...
On your next product video/review can you stop down your camera aperture a bit? having a 1cm depth of field is great for subject isolation but we actually need to see what you're talking about. THANKS!
Hi Nusensei! I’m transitioning from traditional Japanese Kyudo to more western styles through horse archery and I was wondering, would a traditional Japanese draw that’s used for a 2 meter tall Yumi be safe on a much smaller horse bow? (Assuming the proper arrow length for a safe draw)
hey as a fellow recurve archer i would like to give you a tip at around 5.20 minutes you show it off when you're shooting with the tab. your ringfinger is just barely touching the bowstring. i had the same problem and after i changed this to shooting with all 3 fingers hooked in completely i started seeing more consistant shots. so maybe try to train shooting with 3 fingers hooked in. i would like to hear from you how it went. greetings
Sandra why not? They feel really good to shoot and some of the world's best archers use them for a reason. Just because it looks simple doesn't mean it's bad
Its simplicity in appearance comes from a designer with a good grasp of what is really required of it and a lot of experience. I think this reflected in the number of elite archers choosing to use them.

Haha. I love the sound of creaking leather. The best was Barney Fife's holster on the old Andy Griffith Show.
hi nu the tab comes with a plate without a shelf as well when you buy one now ( mines here today hopefully )

Will do. I'm just getting used to my new camera and figuring out what the different lenses are good for.
I like my slightly customised AAE Cavalier.

Depends on the manufacturer. Most horse bows are designed to be overdrawn (e.g. past the ear), so this would not really be an issue.
NUSensei that’s actually perfect, thank you! (Kyudo is the same draw)
How is your experience with the wear? Cordovan vs Kangaroo?
Im a noob and just starting to get my interest in archery.. just curious tho why dont you use loop hook pull trigger or whatever is that called?
+Jerome Singh Not allowed in standard archery rules for recurve.
Hmm i dont like that ring some fingers could not fit well
Any option for 3 fingers under?
Fairweather have a barebow specific tab now.

the deep hook
Commenting for others who might come along. The finger pressure being used here is very purposeful and in line with the national training system.
Glove shooter here... If I were to try a tab it would be this one.
Nice tab, but personally, I prefer the three fingered glove.
Flaxen Saxon
you won't see a lot of gloves in the olympics.
Very meh. Would not buy this.
