This movie was a hidden gem. I hate that this film didn't get the praise that it should have had. This film was creepy in every way and I felt more sorry for the main character as we continued on.
Yeah I love this one
It’s underrated for sure. It’s definitely not perfect but it’s pretty good
DEFINITELY
Sadly, anytime I mention this movie, nobody ever seems to remember it so I was pretty excited to see this pop up in my feed. Really glad to see you enjoyed it as well!
Same dear. How can a movie be so underrated? This would've done better than the conjuring if ever given a chance.
Right?! I loved this movie
James Wan and Lee is fucking brilliant!! They made this movie, and Saw, and Insidious and others
Yeah, we’re big fans of him on the channel!!
And Upgrade! Can’t forget that - Leigh’s personal masterpiece, in my opinion.
We watched Upgrade on the channel!
@@whitenoisereacts can you guy's react to Juice Starring Tupac and the intruder Starring Michael ealy and Dennis Quaid Traffik Paula Patton and Omar Epps GREAT MOVIE'S FIVE STAR
Man I still dont undertand the movie ending, can someone explain it to me lol. i watched it when i was like 8 and rewatched it but i dont get the mary shaw ending
Not a lot of horror movies do anything to horrify me, but this one came close. Great video, guys.
What about sinister
You like to show how strong you are😂
@@ryanmalarik4398i think sinister IS a good one....but this f@#€ effects....i really hâte them....
Dead Silence is such an underrated horror movie it’s almost criminal. Shout out to the fan that requested it and you guys for watching and reacting to it. I’m glad you enjoyed it. James Wan is the man, no doubt.
You have give props to Mary Shaw for setting the up Jamie to finally scream... after she slowly broke him down emotionally.
I’m so happy you guys did this. The movie actually scared the crap out of me and the plot twist tho
yeah one of the bst plot tiwsts :>
this movie literally made my childhood & love for horror
Me: I don't know how you can watch a horror film at night?
Also me: *reads Stephen King before going to bed*
Lol just watch it with us, it ain’t so bad
@@whitenoisereacts The difference between reading and watching horror, my ghost/monsters/paranormal being will be pink no matter how terrifying they are, they are always pink, whereas with horror films you are left with what's on screen, no less no more, but what you see in front of you. And that sometimes is scary for #iamapussy
@@keiranfoord4067 -Unless it's ambiguous and the movie leaves you to your own imagination...
I saw this in 6th grade when a friend invited me to her movie theater birthday party!! It was my first horror movie and i was so terrified, i couldn’t sleep well for about a week!
I watched this when I was 9 and I was shitting bricks the entire time
Awww that’s so adorable
@@Sid3kick13 lol same
@@Sid3kick13 you shouldn’t have watched it at 9
@@brandonkashinsky9222 I was pretty much forced to watch it
Except this was when I was like six or seven
i remember accidentally watching this when i was a kid (my older cousin watched this and invited me 🗿) and this movie scared tf out of me, probably one of the creepiest dolls that I've ever seen.
same except that it was my sister for me
First I watched it with my dad. Then I was terrified. So I used to wake up my mom at night to go to bathroom with me. Then one day I was sleeping when I woke up I saw my two distant uncles are watching that in our computer which is in the bedroom(in some small areas in India bedroom doesn't have privacy). Then I had to watch it few more times reluctantly with my elder cousin with my ears totally closed with my fingers. My fingers hurt very much after the movie ended due to continuous pressure on those to keep out any sound from entering my ears
It was also my first ever horror movie
And it still is at the top till now
I absolutely loved this movie when i was younger and surprisingly still remember the Mary Shaw poem, not sure what that says about me 😅. Anyways, I would love to see your guys's reaction to "Train to Busan", it's a Korean zombie movie and is one of my all time favorite films. I believe you two would get really into it.
We have had a lot of requests for that one, so I think we will do it at some point this summer
@@whitenoisereacts I'll look forward to that one! In my opinion it's my favorite zombie film
Yes Train to Busan was soooo good. Hopefully the blood doesn't freak out James too much 😏😱
@@steph0711 Train to Busan is for sure one of my favorite zombie movies! Also, the new Netflix movie Army of the Dead has found a place in my heart with my favorites. Although idk if that counts as a zombie movie since they're technically aliens (but basically zombies lol) haha!
Seems like you guys are misunderstanding the beginning, he had no idea what the doll did as he was out getting the food. He didnt even see her put the doll on the bed so when he got home all he found was her dead, probably not even noticing he stepped into it when he flinched back so at that time he just thought it was a human that killed her.
Otherwise fun reaction :)
I really love this underrated movie, it’s so creepy and interesting. Also if you didn’t see “The Strangers” I highly recommend it, it’s one of the scariest and one of the best horror movies I’ve ever seen.
Oh yes, this is one of my all time favorite horror movies and in my opinion it holds pretty well today. The camera work, the scares with the doll and the entire concept. So glad you guys watched it
HIGHLY recommend you watch "Stay Alive" it's a really cool horror about a video game where the way you die in the game is how you die in real life! I always watch it after seeing Dead Silence so I was SOOOOO glad to see you review this one! I hope you consider it!!
That movie is amazing
Yes!!
@@cassandrareed5959 hopefully this gets enough likes and they see it!
I'm so happy someone said this. As I was watching this, I got a few scenes mixed up with Stay Alive. Thought they'd have a good time watching too.
Omg I love that movieeee
i was so young when i last saw this movie but that poem will stay with you for years after. i swear even now whenever i see a creepy doll i’ll tighten my mouth to keep my lips closed “just in case”
You may not know/heard of this movie but you sure as hell recognize the music itself everywhere 😂😂😂
An epic film! Underrated in my opinion. You can definitely pick up saw vibes in it lol. My phobia as a kid was porcelain dolls. They scared me so bad I even had nightmares all the time about em😂 I broke the fear finally at 12-13 years old.
This is such an UNDERRATED MOVIE!!!! I remember warching it as a kid and scarying the crap out of me yet I loved watching it multiple times.
"is she pregnant or is she being a girl?"- James. lmaooo hahaha
guy on the left looking real cozy
So much 'SAW' in this film, in terms of the twists, music, and shots. It's also classic horror with dolls and jump scares, and solid gore, of course. Not to mention the kind of nested mythos within the film (akin to IT and others), since it is a ghost story, fundamentally. Further, it has great themes and symbolism with the stepmother and Mary herself, along with a great build-up to said twist/ending. Great psychology in this film. Therefore, I rank this film as one of the best horror films of all time. Not the best at all, but one of the best, all things considered.
This movie terrified me as a kid. Love that y'all do a reaction on this one
"THX! " Love this Movie!
PS: "The best moment to enjoy this movie is when I look into your eyes. -"No movie has frightened me so much in a long time!"
"Grüße aus Deutschland" :)
this is one of my favorite horror movies of all time. still have no idea why so many people hate it.
I gotta say that Dead Silence is one of my favorite horror movies.
You guys are killing it with all of these horror reactions
This movie gets alot of crap but it's genuinely a good movie that I liked a lot growing up and even now
Edit: (If you guys haven't seen it, would you consider 'Sinister'? Its in my top 10 horror films)
This has been one of my favorite horror movies since the 2010s. Superbly orchestrated little ghost story!
When I tell you I have a doll phobia and growing up this movie freakin scared the crap I tried to watch it when I was adult to face my fears and yeah it took me a while to actually stomach it, watching you guys react to it see confirms I’m still scared and still hate dolls lmao it’s crazy that it’s not popular in the sense of the scary movie thriller paranormal genre but people really do forget that this is what put him on the map really especially after the Saw movies great reaction and glad you guess think it’s hella creepy and good visuals
This was such a good movie and the twist was good..I remember being so mad that he manage to go half the movie not screaming except that one moment! But I get it tho, cuz like...he had been through a lot.
I’m really excited for your Conjuring: Devil Made me Do it reaction also keep up the good work.
Thanks man!!
I really did like this movie. Especially with the rhyme. It probably wouldn't be for everyone, but I like that it's different from James Wan's other movies. And I mean, as someone who grew up on the Goosebumps books and movies, it's not as if we all didn't know that ventriloquist dolls were creepy.
Wow haven't seen this movie in years. Glad you guys enjoyed this one, especially that ending🔥🔥🔥
I remember initially thinking it was going to be stupid when seeing the previews. I actually ended up seeing this in the theaters with a date when I was in college and it ended up being a lot better than I originally thought it was going to be. lol, my reaction to this movie was just about the same.....what the hell did I just watch!?!? It was creepy...
Ninetail always looks so comfy with his blanky XDD
This was one of THOSE movies that really get to you. I loved everything about it, the story build-up, the atmosphere, the way it was shot. Its a movie that burns images into your mind for weeks and for some possibly months. Absolutely love your reactions, Ive been binging the horror playlist 🤣
Well I know what I’m watching tonight. I’ve seen this movie and it still gets me every time
Forgot where exactly but there's a Billy puppet (the puppet from Saw) hidden somewhere with the other puppets
At the theatre near the end
Beware the stare of Mary Shaw...
She had no children only dolls
If you see her in your dreams...
Be sure to NEVER EVER SCREAM
Or she'll rip your tongue at the seam...
Ps.I love that saying lol, glad y'all watched it and enjoyed it!
In a deleted scene that I remember, it explains that the reason the 'stepmother' is considered the perfect doll is because she was being battered by the dad and allows Mary Shaw to possess her basically.
This is one of my favorites!! Thank you for doing it!! 🥰
Finallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy 😍 I was asking you guys to react to it since a long time, finally you react to it. Even as a child I was never scared of horror movies but this one sure gave me chills. Hope you guys enjoyed it.
Where my childhood fear of puppets and dolls began. I remember I couldn't sleep after seeing this movie, but it's a super good film! Thanks for watching this you guys! I really enjoy how comfy you both are when watching movies with pillows and blankets. Superb content as always👍
Both puppets created by James Wants for Saw and Dead Silence have been the scariest shits I've ever seen lol
Will you guys ever react to it's extended version? It has a whole new ending.
Great reaction you two! This was a pretty decent and original horror film that is underrated compared to the many others that all came out in the early 2000s imo.
I really loved this movie, I watched it years ago on a bored-whim and I'm glad I did. It's good stuff. You can't beat a villain that makes you trigger its kill switch. It wants silence but freaks you out so you scream.
And you know what else I like, male stars in horror it's so downplayed that men get scared or will be convincing in horror but they do so well. This movie, The Bogeyman, Darkness Falls, A haunting in Connecticut, Sinister all great movies that get a meh of attention because it lacks a scream queen.
skeleton key (2005) is also one twisted movie ...
What's interesting is that when they show a wide shot with of the puppets in frame you can actually see Billy from Saw sitting next to a stroller
This is the only horror movie I can’t watch at night😭
One of my favorite contemporary horror movies. Another one that's undervalued, and came out around the same time as this one, is Stay Alive. Can't believe we haven't gotten blu release of that yet.
I watched it years ago when I was younger perfectly fine no nightmares or nothing I’m 21 now and watching the first few scenes Alone scares the shit out of me 😂
This movie terrified me up when I was younger and still does 😂😂. Keep up the reactions ❤️
Best horror plot twist ever made!
So excited you guys watched one of my favorite horror movies ever♡♡
OMG I REMEMBER WATCHING THIS AND BEING TOTALLY FREAKED OUT BUT NOW I JUST WATCH IT AND LAUGH
This movie made me have nightmares for a whole year when I seen this as a kid!😂
I'm so happy you guys liked it! I love this movie but it hardy ever gets any attention and what attention it does get is usually people who didn't care for it.
I was in Arizona for a film festival to see the premiere of Ten Inch Hero when this came out and the city we were in had an actual drive in theater so my friend and I took her car to the drive in to see this! It was very fun. We also ended up watching 300 at the drive in that night too since they had multiple screens so we just had to drive to the next one and pay for that movie too, lol. Still one of my best memories! (Though good grief hearing this movie through your car speakers is freaky!)
You should react to IT it's not that scary but its stephen kings
Gonna do it at some point!!
I hope you mean the original.
This is a underated gem of a horror movie awesome reaction guys loved it
OH MY GOD???? YES???? i love this movie, not that many people react to it so i'm excited!!
My top 3 favorite horror movies of all time
How have I not subscribed yet? Lol. Cool movie can't wait to see your reaction to the big twist. I'm wondering if you're going to predict it before it happens lol.
Honestly so underrated
knowing the twist and seeing the scenes befor eyou know the twist is so interesting you notice the hints that something is up hee.
Love that you referenced Dark Souls 🙌
Lol buts it’s true right??
@@whitenoisereacts oh most definitely. Very...ashen. Lol
I watched it few years ago this movie scared the hell out of me 🙂
i litereally have the mary shaw poem as my lock screen on my phone
I just finished watching this movie and I really love it. The cinematography and the color in it just so cool.
I grew up with horror movies. So most movies didn't really scare me. Dead silence is the only movie that's terrified me for years I don't even know why it wasn't even that scary
A great horror movie with one of the best Gothic horror vibes ever, and with one of my most favorite horror theme songs ever (up there with the first Phantasm movie and the OG '80s Creepshow movie)! Charlie Clouser was the absolute GOAT with this theme song, fits alongside his famous Hello Zepp theme (imo)! ^^
Never seen this but definitely gonna check it out
The scariest movie I’ve seen to date. I claim it’s my favorite because it never ceases to scare me at the exact same moments no matter how many times I’ve seen it.
Have seen this movie soooooo many times still one of my favs!!
Hey guys! Just wondering when the next livestream will be.
P.S love ya reaction as always
Thursday
My favourite horror EVER! hits the perfect note between Creepy & fun!
So sad that at the time this movie came out, they weren’t ready for it 😞
That's a really good horror movie, I think the low budget give it a special touch haha
hope u guys would watch 1408. its a great horror movie with some god acting by the main character.
this movie traumatized me when i was a kid and even now i'm not well when i'm in the dark
I love that they had the guy who played Eric Matthews in Saw as the cop in this one!
Anyone with a phobia of dolls/dummies or other inanimate objects will find this movie terrifying. I'm one of those. Great movie! The music was awesome and that twist was... twisted.
Oh and another good one that feels like the same timeline and kinda gives me the same feels is stay alive. It's another horror movie that I used to loveeeee. A video game horror. Look into it sometime even if you don't do a video for it.
I hope that one day they make a 2nd movie because obviously her spirit hasn't laid to rest and I wanna see how it would happen
I love this movie and i love youre reactions guys, pls you have to watch Deliver us from evil, you are going to love it !! bless from Chile
As a fellow Jamie, ain't no way im letting a puppet doll into my house alone with anything i care about. We having a damn barbecue the very moment i find out i have been mailed a damn doll.
I would walk into block buster and not even look at the cover. I watched it and was terrified.
Try watching the movie called They 2002. Or The Ritual 2017 which has one of the best creature design I've seen in a very long time in a movie.
I always feel bad for the old people it just kills meee 😭 old people are just so fluffy and preciousss
This is one of my favourite horror movies
I love how Detective Donnie Wahlberg comes straight out of 80s Columbo episodes AND 40s Film Noir Detective movies! I'd watch that cop deal with The Maltese Falcon and Sunset Blvd any day of the week.
This one was made after Saw, before Insidious, it's probably safe to guess they took the Anabelle doll out of this movie
When I saw all the empty doll caskets I burst out laughing. It was so silly😄
Gotta request Stay Alive!!! Its about a video game!!! Another great movie like this!
I remember this movie, I watched this along time ago
This is one of my favorite horror movies.
Great creepy movie 🎥💯love u guys
