Are software patents more difficult after G1/19?

  • One question I get a lot lately is: "Now that we have G1/19, will it be more difficult to get software patents in Europe?" My answer: Probably yes, at least in the short term. Here's why.

    Great video and very interesting topic. But i was wondering how a simulation can be technical, is it not only a software program?

    Can you deal with the EPO examination guidelines revised in view of G1/19 and how the claims directed to computer simulations, modeling, design should be drafted from now on?
