Well done Ollie , Another good informative video - I’ve searched and searched for videos online using spindle moulders and I’ve found very little considering it is a machine that can do so much . Thanks for putting the time in to doing the videos and I hope you do more of them on the spindle moulder . All the best in the year ahead
Thanks Ollie, I seem to say this all the time... I will probably never use a ring fence on a spindle moulder. But your work methods can be incorporated into many aspects of a more advanced hobbyist woodworker... Cheers and HNY to a fellow Leicesterian...even if I originate from Notts and Derbys

Hi Ollie, Once again, you've been a tremendous help to me. I've wanted to do ring fence work for some time, but thought I'd need to get a whole range of bearings for different sized work. This home-made solution allows me to make whatever size I need and seems to work really well. Also, I thought that the spindle moulder would be too fast to sand, but it seems that (with care) it works OK. Can you let me know where you got the sanding drum accessory from please? Thanks again Ian
Nice one Ian, thanks. I think it was from Wealdon but may be wrong. I turn the speed right down. It's ok faster with very light pressure, but may aswell but a cheapo table top bobbin sander in my opinion. www.wealdentool.com/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Sanding_Drum_659.html
Ciao ho cominciato da poco seguirti. Complimenti per i lavori e soprattutto i risultati. Domanda che legno usi quando devi ristrutturare un serramento?
Great to see some ring fence work, I’ve searched UA-cam many times looking & never managed to find anything helpful. Thanks for sharing👍🍻
Cheers Neil. A small insight but its relatively simple. keep those hands out the way and avoid kickback.

Nice one Norman. I cant remebr what fuunny editing was in there but clad it raised a smile buddy!
Good explanation. I have a spindle moulder but thought I'd have to purchase special kit for a ring fence. I will have to give it a go. Thanks.
Cheers Jim, be very careful! Remember good lead in piece and very secured work.
I much prefer the bearing to the ring fence. I like your holding jig
Bearing is a lot easier!!! Just need the right sizes.
