I have exactly the same problem with my 2yr old GSD . Ever since he was a puppy 🐶 he expected that he had the right ✅️ 2 come 2 the Bathroom 🚻 & the Shower 🚿 Trying 2 have private time ⏲️ @ the Bathroom 🚻 is 100% impossible. And as 4 the Shower 🚿 he just pokes his head in & walks away & then comes back 2 check these days. When he was younger he would just lie down in the bathroom . As 4 training he is Super Super Super Smart 👌 He learnt a New Command this morning 🌄 & had it down Pat in less than 12 Attempts with treats . Then without treats in the same morning an hr later. Then we drove down 2 my folks house 🏠 & also the same thing . With or without treats . And this Arvo when we arrived home 🏡 the same thing . With or without treats . Now he is lying down on my bed 🛌 asleep 😴 while l rest . Awesome Dog 🐕 His name is Shadow.
Your dog is looking after you, especially when you are in the bathroom. He loves you and wants to be sure you are safe. Also he probably finds odors to be pretty exciting, especially your own. What a fine, handsome boy he is!
😳letting your dog lick your frying pan clean?… Wow! That’s disgusting, although I have no doubt that dogs mouth is way cleaner than a lot of humans mouth… But I prefer that they eat out of their own bowls.
Our GSD could open the bathroom door if it wasn't locked. The GSD would always try to get open the bathroom door when my mom was inside. GSDs don't like blowing into their ears. They don't like you touching the fine hairs that extend past their paw pads. She, the GDS, didn't like being left alone. She definitely did like being left at a kennel when we went on vacation. When re-uniting after a long time, a few days or weeks, she would go nuts with happy wimpers, licks and lots of tail wagging. Our GSD would lick pans clean too. She loved it. I almost forgot the vacuum cleaner and baths.
