I just cried when Mary open the door and was told the news from his friends. It was a total shock for me to see. That was well done...I love this show since very beginning n BBT too. RIP George..🥺🥺🙏
Why isn’t it even easy to watch? I’ve been preparing myself for years.
I’ve been dreading this season. I just loved them and I’m happy they ripped off the band aid last night. Would’ve been torture if they waited until the last episode. But dang, I’m sad.
It was stunned. I have watched this show from the beginning. I new that he was going to die but they played it off so good . Not a since it was going to happen. I must say I did cry 😢
really wish that they didn’t have to kill off George like that 😢. Yeah, I know they had to, because Sheldon mentioned in TBBT that his & Missy’s father died when they were both 14. I also heard that Chuck Lorre even regret killing him off. To be honest, I wish they didn’t either 😭. I broke down when Mary, Missy, and Meemaw broke down after when they finds out. Even the way Sheldon sat down, you can tell he was distraught by the news of his own father passing 😭.
George Jr, Mandy, and her parents will probably de devastated too after what happened (especially Billy’s mother and the pastor as well).
It’s like watching This Is Us all over again when Jack also died from a heart attack, but from when the house was on fire when he went back to the house to rescue their dog.

i knew it was gonna happen yet soon as i realized they was waiting on george for the family picture i knew this was it. then the knock happened and i started crying 😢
I wish they hadn't killed him off. He was my favorite character on the show!
Because this is a prequel to the Big Bang Theory, a huge part of Sheldon is the fact his father died when he was 14

In the Big Bang theory, in the episode where Sheldon meets Bernadette’s father and they get to talking football, Sheldon reveals that “my mom shot him” ergo, Mary Cooper must shoot George!

I didn’t watch the Big Bang Theory and I had no idea he was going to die this season, but I suppose there was a lot of foreshadowing early on in the episode. Still, it came as a shock and I broke down in tears (even though I don’t often cry during shows and movies).
The ending was painful. 😔

Didn’t like how they let George Sr. go. They could have just ended the series without his passing by just ending the series or a quick narration from Sheldon at the end of the last show. I have no plans to watch the new George and Mandy series this fall as some of the characters haven’t been called back from what I understand and with George gone it won’t be the same.
On the contrary I like Georgie and Mandy ! Also Missy is a pistol 🔫.

Imagine how Sheldon's family felt. They nailed the feeling of pain and sadness. It felt real.
To see the actual heart attack would have been completely heart breaking to watch. I’m glad they didn’t do that to us

I’ve had one parent die in front of me and one die while I wasn’t with them and strangely, the one I wasn’t with haunts me much more. It’s hard for your brain to accept they’re gone when they were ok the last time you saw them. So I think they made the right decision.
What about his affair? Wasn’t there supposed to be a lecture when Sheldon says in BBT
Well the lecture to my dad & his mistress had sone unchristian language in it.

Remember the episode where they were role playing, she was in a costume and Sheldon came home, he heard thru the door those voices and Sheldon opens the door and sees someone else, which is actually his mom, That's what led him to believe that his father was with someone else. I
After dedicated Young Sheldon watchers have enjoyed the show for years..now it ends so sad! I don't even want to see the Georhie and Mandy show since we already know they will divorce! What's the point! TV is supposed to make you feel good, not DEPRESSED!

Yes they get divorced but the title of the show is Georgie and Mandy's. First, wedding, couples have been known to remarry each other again after they've divorced.
