I remember watching a video of Pally playing this map where he could have won the game as Falstad, but left the objective to fly off and die with the rest of his team in a fight they didn't need to win.
I was thinking that! Stitches was incredible. Those hooks were just perfection and were literally the main reason the game ended the way it did (with the exception of the tunnel-visioning of course)
It is a smart idea to not take the boss immediately. Imagine if you did that when two objectives spawn on bot. Now the enemy team would NEED to defend three locations at the same time. Additionally, there is no immediate benefit to the enemy team to take the boss themselves, as we have too much health to risk the tempo loss (or the game on a steal)
@@yargolocus4853 Disagree. There is a lot of immediate benefit for the enemy to take boss themselves and they probably needed to go fight for it right at that moment. The reason is the exact scenario you paint - objectives bot and boss is up. That is almost just checkmate. Well, what do you do to counter that situation? You remove a loss condition, before the others spawn i.e. go for boss and, in that way, make it much easier to defend (still really hard). Also removing boss from the equation allows you to not have to allocate time and resources to constantly monitor whether the enemy team is taking it. It's likely to fail - there's probably a reason you went 23-1 in the first place, but at least this approach gives you an advantage by getting boss or let's you make an honorable coinflip on a teamfight instead of just being pulled apart and losing without being able to do anything.
@@Junglej0hn yeah that's fair. I didn't think deep enough on both povs. I only tried to win, while your play also accounts enemy trying to stop me from trying to win
Lets goooooo Edit: That was an amazing match, lmao. RiP on that obective miss tho. The hunt "save" was hype enough to gloss over it for sure. For about 2 seconds before she got hooked back again.
I'm using my local library's internet lately. Pally's videos are blocked without a VPN. Not sure what that's about. Edit: I wanna say I remember an Auriel video where Pally took the flight thing and he couldn't see an actual reason to ever get it. That was such a good attempt by her to delay the turn-in. GG at the end there. What a nailbiter.
that was such an amazing game i am beyond words thank you for everything you do, pally! i enjoy your existence, and the world's a better place for you being in it.
Thank you for all your all your work over the years pally! These videos have almost become routine to mine and my friends days! From Collage to uni to now working :D
This is why I whenever I play Probius I don't use the standard build. Good old fashioned aggressive Pylon build, either people don't expect it & die. Or people either underestimate the dps it can put out & die, or it zones them out because they do know.
I loved this game. Probably my favorite video you've released. Illidan has become one of my top 3 favorite heroes, and you're one of my favorite casters I did catch the missed tower 😆
You never fail to inform and entertain, that's for sure! I'm enormously glad you're still at it after all this time, it really is a bright spot for so many people, myself included. But on the gameplay side of this one... oofah. -Not taking the top camp after popping the probe at 4:19 or pressuring to force rota and let your 4man steal the enemy sappers like the Tass was pinging for. -Not pushing in for the fort after the Naz pick at 8:25 so the low hp Tass could bail for the channel. -Missing the entire massive wave top you talked about right after that. -Not immediately Hunting Probius at 9:53, and then not immediately taking the fort after. No probe, no pylon overcharge, freebie. -Chasing Zag instead of clearing the sappers at 10:30. Doing half of that would have ended the game ~five minutes earlier, probably via a 6-cap.
You know, I've been on the end of some pretty massive swings on ToD, both good and bad. But I don't think I've ever been a part of a swing that was based on the incompetence of ours or the enemy team ignoring an easy obj for the victory
This might be the most important video you've ever done as it showcases mistakes happen to everyone! All about how you take it and move on. Legit BRAVO for having the balls to put this up on the tube.
Immolation isn’t half bad into Zag (creep) and makes camps even easier right out of the gate, to boot. Glad to see Hunter’s Onslaught getting showcased; it also works well with Q talents that reduce cooldown and increase damage.
has anyone mentioned Pally didn't go after the game winning objective that sat open for awhile? It was around the 15:30 mark or so. Not sure if anyone else caught that but I was like BRUH WAT R U ODIN
@Pally In fairness, if you count out the seconds you didn't actually have time to channel the obj before Nazeebo got to it and would have interrupted you. Whether the was time to kill him and channel before the enemy team wiped your team and moved to the obj or not we'll never know.
I saw that objective, but I just thought you're toying with the enemy team :D Great game though! I like those nail-biting endings more than wins with 4 lvl difference ;)
Was that mistake just not winning the game when you could have? It happens. Frankly, it was a deserved result at the end, though. Resulted in a fun game, at least!
So, i initially thought it was you dodging the Auriel heal at the end, but you walking past game winning objective was a far worse infringement. Still, loved the game play keep it up good sir!
Pally: This is Illidan's 0 stress build! I'm going to choose these talents for their passive buffs so I wont have to do anything extra" Also Pally: "I can feel my heart in the veins in my forehead"
oh what a sad ending but you played so well Pally. And omg what a sad lil accident I thought you meant that you didn't sac for Auriel when she got hooked back in you could have W into it to save her again but it was a sick play tho.
😂😂😂 ..but still... Try to play, comment and educate the public... You're bound to be blind to "certain details". Whats more important is that the entertainment value is 10/10 and the love we feel for you is 10/10 ❤
Was the mistake saying the hydralisk took you down when it was actually probius? Which is funny b/c you said his damage would be inconsequential after level 4, when in fact, there were consequences to be had.
the time you showed as a clip actually wouldnt have mattered, cause Nazeebo would have interrupted you... however, you walk by it a SECOND time after trying to save Auriel, and Nazeebo dies. That time, you would have had the opportunity to channel it and win.
The Deep Dive is meant to showcase the character, which you accomplished. You're a dingbat for missing the objective, but we still love you.
what he said. I was yelling at the tv. u threw the game. but it was a fun game to watch!
dingbat is a fun word.
In your defense...you were having so much fun you didn't want it to end.
Its nice of Pally to stand in one place throwing the game in order show respect to Stiches. Thumbs up!
What a nice chill game on a chill build with no stress whatsoever.
I love how nobody on your team pinged the obj or said anything in chat.
Yeah just about every game I'm in somebody's pinging every 2 secs
80% of the playerbase are bots and he's not even in ranked..
@@mrtoothless Because ranked is full of salty toxic tryhards
pretty sure he plays in a 5 stack
This was one of the hardest thrown matches I have ever seen lolol.
I remember watching a video of Pally playing this map where he could have won the game as Falstad, but left the objective to fly off and die with the rest of his team in a fight they didn't need to win.
I missed it completely, just shock and awe at the end when you showed the replay of you walking right past the obj🤣Great video as always
He does it a second time after the clip ends too. He literally helps fend off an enemy there and then casually walks away.
that Arial at the end was half a second away from healing you for the clutch.. that stiches' hooks were on point
I was thinking that! Stitches was incredible. Those hooks were just perfection and were literally the main reason the game ended the way it did (with the exception of the tunnel-visioning of course)
I love how you casually dismiss taking boss and winning the game.

Fill my eyes with that tunnel vision, no objective for that tunnel vision.
That spray moment had me dying! Hopefully they knew you meant respect.
The stitches got so mad, he vowed to win no matter what!
0 Stress build brings back memories.
It was not a mistake, Pally, it was calculated BM... That backfired.
A very Illidan thing to do I would say. "You needing my help only shows your weakness." I can see him saying that XD
I kinda just love the dings from the level one talent.
nothing better than Qhiras lvl 1 talent though. ding city.
No dings, but seeing the numbers go up on Rexxar's Animal Husbandry is perfection.
Lets goooooo

watching pally throw this game was incredible. oh my god. XD literally had it won and piddled around in lane

Yeah I saw it. 17:55 walk left to block stitches and win. Nah, just lane. :)

Just a chill Illidan game. What could possibly go wrong?

Everyone forgot to channel the objective. It happens
at 18:15 pally couldve won the game by helping his team cap the obj
I am not sure if he intentionally postponed that instant victory there
He was paying respects to Stitches.
Don't think that is the part he was referring too ngl
Palle says that himself at the end of the vid.
Love his absolutely gorgeous throw of the game by not taking boss lol glorious
YES PALLY MORE CHILLIDAN CONTENT I LOVE YOU
What a comeback from the enemy team
I saw that objective, but I just thought you're toying with the enemy team :D Great game though! I like those nail-biting endings more than wins with 4 lvl difference ;)
I thought it was going to be no big deal, but THE THROW! 🤣🤣🤣
I think the mistake was him not channeling and ending the game around 17:55.
Everyone on that team threw that with that lack of communication, lol 😂
Great game by both teams! Was very fun to watch 😊
Definition of never giving up
GG
I'm in a glass case of emotion!
I was not prepared.
What a rollercoaster match!!
I miss Beta Illidan
Just a note, nothing important - Immolation is quite a good tech against Zagara. Clears creep automatically. :)
I used that illidan build, had brightening and zeratul on my team, other team all range, felt bad for the other for team.
Was that mistake just not winning the game when you could have? It happens. Frankly, it was a deserved result at the end, though. Resulted in a fun game, at least!
Haven’t watched yet, but I forgive you! Now back to watching :D
Thanks!

oh what a sad ending but you played so well Pally. And omg what a sad lil accident I thought you meant that you didn't sac for Auriel when she got hooked back in you could have W into it to save her again but it was a sick play tho.
Damn .. you walked by it two times 😂 but the match was fun!
You mentioned this is one of your top 5 favorite builds, what if you made a Short of your top 5 builds for each class or each play style?
0 stress means 0 revisions for mistakes
Regardless it is refreshing see you have fun mate.
Guessing the mistake is pally threw at 17:31 when he didnt game that game winning obj
Never give your enemy Any mercy, Always take the boss.
I think saving Auriel with The Hunt is cool enough to excuse not taking the objective.
It's OK pally we all make mistakes in the heat of passion, but that's rough
Love it.
Oooh longer heroes vid
Lets go!
How DARE you call me level headed and forgiving!!
You take that back! You jerk!
