Lots of Culture Churches here in Skandinavia. What do you do with a church no one uses anymore but is 500 hundred years old and a place of historic heritage? Well... convert it into an art gallery and venue - the acoustics are great! :)
Nice to see some new material in the set. They had been playing the same seven songs for years, it seems. C'mon EW - go deep into the demonic back catalog!!
@@felvte370 I guess the norwegian state church has become more round handed to more secular ways of making people go to church. The rent brings them way more income than any sunday service, that’s for certain.
Whats the chance the Electric Wizard tours with Mayhem and, well, fuck it, given that I am throwing around hypotheticals, and the mighty Darkthrone. I know, I know, the Wizard is not black metal, but to open for Mayhem and Nocturno and Fenriz decide to tour as Darkthrone would be a killer vibe. Of course, we will probably never see Darkthrone live........
Elizabeth Buckingham has got me by the balls. Something about a girl that plays DOOM I love. No face junk. No goth tats all over. Just the way nature made her.
look, i love electric wizard, a lot, but christ almighty they need to focus on their live set. noticeably sloppy and vocals are.....well.....yeah. cmon guys. so much potential to be one of the most powerful live bands on earth, sounds like they're barely trying
Really, terrible live? All of the live clips have been incredible, but, sadly, I have not, yet, had the opportunity to see Jus and the High Priestess.....
i honestly don't think they are too bad, when you compare them to slipknot for example. One of the most popular metal bands, and still can't sound good live. They're horrible.
Unfortunate it wasn't a great show, but not every one will be. I had the privilege of seeing them in Toronto on their last NA tour a few years ago (2017 i think?), and they played an absolutely perfect set. Definitely a night to remember :)
No way, are they playing in a church??? That’s got to be the most blasphemous thing i’ve ever seen - amazing

The wall of sound otherwise known as Funeralopolis. I will never tire.

I was there! It was a great and enjoyable gig. :-)
Love their live atmosphere, great set
A melhor banda de stoner doom! Seria um sonho realizado ver essa bandanao vivo. 🤟🏼💀🤟🏼
Wow thank you so much for this! The audio sounds exactly like I was there myself!
Blessed be the uploader
Jag var där!! 🤘🤘
wow fucking perfect vocal quality, thanks for the share
Awesome!
Tight
witchcult today is a killer riff
Dude you held the camera up the whole time? lol you're a soldier 🤘
🖤🖤🖤🖤
I really hope I get to seem them live someday.
me too 😢
why people complain about their live shows? I mean, isn't it the perfect atmosphere for a stoner doom metal band?
Is this the same church where Sunn O)))'s Domkirke was recorded?
Nope. The Sunn record is from Bergen. This is from Oslo. Totally different churches in totally different cities.
@@peroskarstorholm4196 thanks for answering. Also whats up with norwegians having heavy music on their churches, I fcking dig it haha
@@peroskarstorholm4196 bet the Wizard aged the fuck out of that place with all those the vibrations

Why we cannot see Darkthrone live? Are they dead? Im not into black metal, but i just have curiosity.
@@pedroc834 No, they are not dead, but neither band member has never liked playing live, so they dont....great band bro, check them out!
@@scottlosey4978 Damn. Ty for answering me. Ill check.
@@pedroc834 You won't be disappointed....I promise
@@scottlosey4978 *Fenriz, Fenriz doesn't want to play live. NC plays live with other bands.
The price they charge for tickets is worth more than 1 hour. Its a pattern with the band what ive seen. I love the crap outta this band, a bummer
He really punished that guitar for being such a gloomy little shit

Sound is awful, picture not perfect, but this upload is FANTASTICLY FABULOUS !!!!! thanx !!!

c'mon man, it's part of the allure: not giving a holy shit! I've seen them several times in San Francisco with no complaints with even better sets!
What a shitty version of Return Trip...
cant dig this drumming style
Saw them in San Fran twice back in the late 90's....still are a terrible live band. Put the bongs down please.
I'm jealous lol
