I've noticed that several live recordings I've come across are way better than the studio version (everything except "Dopethrone"). There's one show on here that is exceptional. I don't think several of the post- Dopethrone records are engineered as well as they could be.
@@silentforest7147all the other albums after Dopethrone especially witchcult today, time to day and wizard bloody wizard (so pretty much all lol) is going for a “vintage” sound with old amps and their distortion only. also, engineers change over each album i believe, resulting in a differing tone for each album which is really nice. i think Dopethrone is truly a one off in terms of perfection and performance meeting perfectly in the middle for this heavy music. it’s so beautifully heavy and somber. i think every wizard fan can relate to not knowing how to really talk about the band and how much we love it truly. it’s really hard to put into words. basically. enjoy every album as much as we first listened to the classics like dopethrone or come my fanatics, but we’ve all come to appreciate the songs in every way.
Always nice to see and hear Ric 4003 bass played thick and heavy. Some say they sound too thin?! Just noticed player's technique slapping more than one finger down onto the string. As Mike Watt said, "The more finger, the more fatter, I think."
An Evocation from the Maelstrom. A summoning of the storm and in the darkness bind them all. In the darkness, it blinds them all. The Witches Hammer rises and falls.
if I were the engineer I'd mix this totally differently... It's okay, but it's clean, neutered, so easy to hear everything cleanly but it just isn't enough saturation, not enough to fill your fucked up drugged out drunken head and make you feel like you're being pulled into other dimensions ... no if this played for you in that head state you'd pass out because everything is normal, leveled, and perfected for a specific "clean" sound to project from the speakers... oh well, not every audio worker is going to 'get' something this heavy.
Saw them a couple of years ago at desert fest, I agree about the sound being clean but this video doesn’t get across how well it works in situ. Much more low end and really powerful. It was impressive.
The new Epiphones are not bad but 1699usd for a firebird 😂 you can buy a used Gibson sg for less than that. I own both, both are good but Gibson is slightly better but I prefer the p90s in Epiphone guitars.
Need a new album, been gone to long, they are pure class
Need full show with this quality. Sounds amazing!
Perfectly recorded. Sounds even better than the studio version.
It sounds a lot better than the studio version

It's good to hear a nice uplifting tune to cheer me up before dinner.
These riffs and a joint.
This is the best live version I’ve heard PLEASE PLEASE upload their whole set

One of the greatest bands ever!
Well played, filmed, and edited. I bend the knee to thee. So fuckin' sick! Well played gents.
Not all gents! Take a look!
I'm 45 years old. I got into doom/stoner metal just within the past five years. How did I not find this band? They are fantastic!
Electric Wizard are probably the biggest name in all of doom/stoner. Highly recommend listening to all their releases
Check out Solitude Aeturnus, you will not be disappointed..
Sabbath is the creed, Sleep and Electric Wizard are their sonic prophets.

Hail the wizard!!!
THE MIX IS INCREDIBLE.
So refreshing to hear, 2023 and the Wizard sounds as mighty as ever. Thanks for the upload!
Much Much Love ( and Drugs ) for Electric Wizard ♥
Absolutely flawless. I am humbled by how much they still kick ass live. 🤘🤘🤘
Wow!! Better than the studio.
Grandes Electric!!!
MUCH LOVE.
This version should be added to the streaming platforms :D
Love that Jus plays an Epiphone here.
Thumbs up for the sound engineer
Seriously, where can we see this whole set? I'd pay to watch it.

Hellyeah!!! 🤘
Amazing!
This really needs a witch danzing circle in the middle of the crowd
I always think the riffs are like black lava flowing with witches chanting.....
Deadly serious fun
The Evocation from the Maelstorm. A summoning of the storm, and in the darkness it binds them all. The Witches Hammer rises and falls.
Damn….amazing 🙌🏽
Waiting ' em in Chile
The only real band left these days. Hail the wizard
the guitarist has got perfect rocking stance. she looks better than most men shredding. badass 🙌
Alright here we go 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Perfect
This guy has the best 'unplugged' album ever made. One of the greatest acoustic guitar players I've ever heard.
Stoned forever forever stoned
sounds incredible
El duende elecrico !!! Buenos , estoy de raya en raya

It is certainly CLEAN sounding! I can hear everything... but it's sad and limp.

For those talking shit about Epiphones, you can shut your mouths now!
