Your dining area gives me hope!!! I literally have a half of a wall from our staircase to work with that cuts into my living room and you give me hope that I can still make a cozy intimate space 😭 and literally the table is BEAUTIFUL it is my dream table!!! I’m so happy there’s someone I can watch who has some of the same struggles with their house as I do and finds solutions for it. It’s hard watching other makeovers like this but they have a huge dining room to work with. So thank you!!
This makes me SO HAPPY. Everything in this house is tiny, so my goal is to share ideas to help others with tiny spaces too! I know we can find ways to get creative. 💓
The dining nook looks great... as does the rest of the house. Just keep digging and getting it done because you are doing great. The house is becoming your home.
Friend! We you introduced us to the finished dinning room it brought tears. I could feel the joy and pride that this room brings you. Thank you for sharing your life with us and Im enjoying the ride.
Looks really lovely! Would love to see the rest of the room, even though it’s not finished. It’s fun to see the totality of the room and stages of progress. It’s cool to learn that your day job is as a psychologist. It fleshes you out as a person in a multi-faceted way that makes you make more sense to me. Good luck with the rest of the project and your move in.
I'm so tempted to start my house watching all your fantastic rewarding work. The dining area is stunning. I love the two large pictures either side of the window, they make the window blend seamlessly into the room and seem much bigger. Very clever.❤
Love the way it came together, definitely looks very comfortable and inviting. Also, appreciate the reality check on time because I DO feel like everything you do is so fast, as an observer.
I love it when you and Dani post at about the same time I enjoy watching both of you. I love the short you posted on the doors that was awesome!! Can’t wait to see how the kitchen turns out!!
That is a beautiful dining area you created...ten months on a house renovation is a drop in the bucket...While you are emitting blood, sweat and tears to bring your vision to life...you still have to make a living...watching your progress and the collaborations with other artists is very enjoyable...we are all sharing in your Happy Dance! Best wishes with the rest of the reno!!!
I love what you have been able to create in a small corner of your new Extention. The table is chic & Stunning, the discrete custom made bench with cushions against the wall is a neat trick... I love the blk, tans & greens against monochrome, lantern Lights & candle sticks are a Beautiful finish.
Th dining room looks gorgeous and yes to the Dusky blush pillows - not pink ;-) .Congrats on getting so far with the reno - you're doing it at your own pace and as someone who watches this channel week in week out, I can certainly see how much you're loving this process (however frustating it may be at times). Keep on keeping on my DIY Sis!
This is your work at it finest!! A very beautiful space and you and dad should be very proud of it. But seriously i hope and pray Chris is doing better very soon. And you are a kind person to help him heal up....thanks for taking us along with this project Sam. A house is a house, its you that makes it a home.
This looks fantastic! I'm glad you had a good time, and don't you worry about the time it takes for your kitchen. It'll happen when it happens, and what matters is how happy you are with the results.
My thoughts exactly! No need to apologize, Samantha! I barely can get out of bed, & here you are, creating, building, remodeling/renovating! Outstanding!!!
LOVE the table! This nook turned out so beautifully!! Samantha - you are quite impressive with all you do! No need to apologize for anything! Renovation is HARD work! And lots of it! You have become another one of my favorites, along with DIY Danie, xo MaCenna, Lone Fox, Alexander Gater, The Sorry Girls, Tina Le!! I applaud all of you! Thanks, too, to your Papa and friends! Nice to have assistance. Enjoy your day and have a fab weekend!! Prayers for Chris' recovery. You take all the time you need; we'll be right here... xxoo
The dinning room is stunning. I can definitely see what your feeling. It looks like love. I honestly can't wait to see all your spaces together I hope when the kitchen gets done you do a walk thru with all the spaces. Your so very talented. I think the best part will be being able to look back on your first house journey for ever. Just know take your time and get things as perfect as this room. We will be here. In the mean time stay blessed always. Btw loved the look back with you and dad taking the wall down.
The windows look great with the screens spray painted. You don't need to replace them, just replace the glass if the blind is in the frame ? You could always make your own when you have the time.
The dining room looks fantastic, how nice it is to sit and reflect on the love of family and friends helping to bring the room together is priceless . Also hope the healing process is going well for your other half 🤗🙏
It’s so beautiful, and looks very spacious. I’ve seen those enclosed blinds before and they usually have a way of ‘pulling them up’. If you can do this they can be tucked away under the wooden blinds.
This dining room is fantastic!! Everything came together perfectly!! And so happy to see you coming out of your shell and enjoying time in front of the camera;)
I’m so obsessed with how this space came together, everything from the structural changes you and your dad made to the custom pieces you made with your friends, and all the way up to the way you guys styled it to bring everything together, it’s all incredible and so inspired. I especially love that you created a smaller designated space for your eating area, cause let’s be honest, having a space to eat on the reg and gather with loved ones is important but it’s not nearly as much of a central space in the modern home anymore. I feel like back in the day there was so much emphasis on the kitchen and dining table as being the heart of the home, but the way people live these days we spend way more time in living rooms as the main gathering/lounging/living spaces. I think what you did with your dining area is perfect for modern living, it’s functional and beautiful without taking up so much space while it’s not in use! Brilliant as always, Sam!
*Stunning* . I love the rustic/industrial vibe. Chef's kiss to the "propagation station" . A beautifully styled space that has all the warm and cozy feels. I'm excited for how excited you are over this space, it's lovely and so *you* .
Congratulations. You are a great inspiration. I discovered your channel when I was in a great mourning phase and "diy, my little projects helped me a lot to "collect" myself. I still don't trust myself with the electrics, but apart from that I've got pretty good at my skills, also because here in our capital we often have to wait for unreliable craftsmen for so long. Cheers to your Papa!
I had a migraine the last 3 days. It’s the worst. You did a beautiful job. I really love the dining room table. I’ve always wanted a live edge piece of furniture. Looks great!!
This is so smart, the way you set up the dining room to allow for flow to the back door and still have a lot of seating. I hope your fiancé is feeling better and on the mend soon. Take care and all the best to you both!
So jealous …but super happy for you! My poor husband doesn’t understand why I keep switching things up or building new things to what he says is “a finished room”. I NEED to feel what you are feeling with your dining area! Need that awesome sense of energy and love. Keep up the great work!
Yay! Another space done! And done beautifully I might add! I love the vibe of the decor and I love, love those propagation stations! Also: did I spy some planters hanging from your deck railing? Nice one. It must be so nice to see it coming together after all this time and work 😍
Dining area is fantastic- and the table could actually fit 8 if needed. We downsized and hired a contractor to renovate our new little home and it took over a year to get done even though he had a whole crew. So I think you’re doing great getting this done while working full time elsewhere and with the crew being you and your dad (with occasional wonderful help from Danie!).
Hi Amazing work! A question please. How wide is the dining table? I know it's not straight, but maybe the widest part and the narrowest part? Thank you
Beautiful project, looks soo cozy and perfect for the space, also the one on one talk at end was much needed, cause things irl do take a lot of time and efforts, Which your hustle shows that and its big inspiration for me ❤🙏🏻 and Wishing Chris a Speedy Recovery ❤
The dining room looks fantastic! Please don't worry about videos taking a while to make, take care of yourself and Chris (hope he gets well soon, the accident you mentioned on the community tab sounds really scary. Thank goodness he's doing okay!), we'll be around when you have time & spoons for making content. Lots of good wishes to you and yours.
I just think every project is a challenge, thus saying that, you are a warrior💪💪another wonderful video that dining room table is awesome everything is your taste, your style put together beautifully🫶🫶🫶 have a blessed day, stay safe❌⭕️❌⭕️🐶Otis and me~ Massachusetts🍁🍂
Love the work. I’m finding that the quality of the videos are low, it comes up at 1080p but everything is blurred lines, not crisp like 1080p normally looks like
It’s so good sam! Dude i can’t believe what paint did for the windows. It gives me so many ideas. Also that snake plant is a damn beauty wowww. So you have that old scary wiring too huh. I put a gfci on one of them because when i ran into that wiring I was like oh no 🤦🏼♀️ do you think i should do my other three outlets with that too? My house is an old beach cabin they left the old wiring in the living room but changed the rest. So weird. I’m like 90% sure the wiring is all wrong here so if i stay in this house i will rewire it eventually. My house is like 670 sqft so it won’t be too bad. Haha 🖤🖤
Thank youuu! I had upgrade to GFCI all over the place in this house! Also had my electrician double check my work recently. It was so reassuring to have him!
I love everything you do Sam.. you are not only incredibly talented but extremely hard working... Next time you come to Canada to Visit Dannie... Come to Hamilton and I will treat you to dinner.

Wow lovely especially with the live edge table and timber bench. Awesome friends to help you creat your dream space.

Thank you! Sameeee.
Your work in that small space is fantastic. You’ve gotta get going on that wedding. Congratulations on your beautiful living room.
It's dope!!! i have a question about the bench at the table? Is it troublesome to sit on?
Thank you! Not at all! Prefer it to the chairs. Will have details soon.
Sam the space is beautiful! The windows got an instant makeover. Those pillows are the perfect blush pink.
Thank you! Charlotte crushed the styling!
The vibe of the space is so great!!
I think so too. Thank you. 🥹

Thank you! They can, but the windows are so broken, I’m nervous to open them!
It's beautiful! And the table is so unique.
It's looking so good. I had problems with kitchen stuff too. I will never not get in stock items after waiting way to long for my appliances.
Wow, it looks so gorgeous. It's a dream of mine to have a live edge dining table one day
Looks very homey and inviting and very you! Lovely work. Hope Chris heals up quickly. Take the time you need. 😊
