🇬🇧 I live in the U.K. and am always amazed when Americans and Canadians say “small room”. That bedroom was bigger than most master bedrooms in the U.K. European homes are very small, as we have less land here. There are many positive aspects though, our utility bills are much smaller and it costs less in building materials and flooring for smaller spaces. Your guest room was amazing! I loved the colours, so cosy. Can I also say I love the style of your jeans, I’ve been looking for something like these for ever.
Love it! Your style may be neutral but there is a calming essence about it. Especially during renovations, having a clean bedroom to relax in is worth all the dust and grim from making over a space!

Looks great! I used that same color coordinating tactic for my office that I just completed. My rug brings so much color but I also added some shiny elements (rose gold: lamp, a candle, a paper basket) just to make it a bit more girly. (Ps, I'm not a girly girl, lol) you did great, the room looks cozy!

bluish white is hard on the eyes. That's why you have a blue light filter on your filter, which makes everything a bit yellowy. I think that's why you felt the repainted colour was more relaxing.

Carrying one pack of flooring into your home from the car doesn't seem too bad but then there's many of them to unload and progressively it destroys your will to live; carrying one after another like some sort of little understated fitness challenge finding out by the end that you are inadequate in that regard.

They translate on camera as being in MUCH better shape than real life. They were kind of rough. I wanted to refinish them, but they were plugged and patched in weird places and there were holes and cracks. It was a lot easier to paint them.

You appear to be a very task oriented person. For a female. This a complaint. I starting out doing odd jobs for myself as an older adult. Due to be taken advantage of in the building trades. Incomplete projects, over Paying. Any subjections.
I am impressed. The struggle you showed is so very real. And you are correct. You can often be your worst critic. So many choices, so little wall space! The radiator cover is cool and simple. the rug makes the room. The paint really helps bring the light in from the single window in the room. The floor is classic and should stand the test of time. You will be happy there I think. Good Job! Great dad!!
I love how it turned out. The only thing I would do differently would be to not paint the closet white. I would’ve tried to match it with the radiator cover since the whole room is white already. I personally am not a fan of white because I think it is boring but I know that is in style right now, but it still looks pretty. I’d say my decorating style is similar to yours. Your puppies are cute btw! Oh and I love your relationship with your dad, he is awesome!

The “drop” in the ceiling is called strapping which is best practice for a more rigid ceiling and also lets you easily run wires
