Great job repairing the tv! So many of TVs of that era went to the trash because of cheap capacitors.

Nice repair as the 1st culprit to most samsung. If the boards are not worth replacing because of cost you can get a universal board kit for cheap and use the screen. I have several I converted for multiple uses.

As for those that have said to replace all of the Cap's, I say you done the right thing by testing and if good reuse. I've found that with electrics if it's good it's good, there is no wear n tear. Just like a fuse it either works or not so replacing good tested Caps with new one's wouldn't have made any difference.

    Hey Tampatec!!
I have a 75” Vizio M75-C1 I got from a neighbor for free to repair.
So, the white standby light on the front of the TV turns on when attempting to power on, but we get no picture. Haven’t tested for sound. Backlights do not turn on. Underneath the back of the TV we have a sub power board, and what looks like 2 power boards. In the middle we have a t-con board, and on the right side 2 led driver boards.
So no back lights. No picture etc.
From what I’ve tested with a multi meter, one of the power boards is out putting 24v like it says but I can’t seem to find where the stand by volt is to test. I assume it has stand by volts because the white light on the TV turns on/off. The two power boards in the back like I said one is giving off 24v like it says but the other power board of the two says 0. Now, we just replaced that board with a new one and it still says 0. Weird. I’ve tested the sub power board that gives off power to both those and it receives power especially since the other power board is powered. One of the LED driver boards is giving off volts while the other LED driver board is not. Which that one is connected to the power board not giving out volts. But we just replaced it with a new one.
Any insight would be beneficial as I’m kinda stumped. I have pictures of all the boards so if you wanna DM me PLEASE, feel free.
