When I lived in southern CA food prices were lower than most places in the country, but yours are keeping pace with ours. Sorry to hear it. I'm out of breath every time I go in the store. It's called anxiety. Lol.

Hope y’all had an amazing Christmas and New Year! My mom, dad and nephews( they raise my sisters three sons) all got Covid right before Christmas so I didn’t go home at all. I didn’t put up a tree either bc I rescued a puppy and he’s sooooo destructive so I thought I’d save myself the trouble lol I would love to see some of your recipes! All your meals you mention sound soooo good! I’m in a food desert so I have to cook everything pretty much or drive an hour lol 😂

Yes well here in southern cali it is called Von's but same thing. I lived in Auburn Wa for a minute it was nice up there more laid back than here for sure. My tribe is Washoe in Nevada, My husband is White Mountain Apache and Ute.
