Pinball is an awesome game sadly it seems lost on the current generation, but who knows maybe it will make a full blown comeback one day. what is the oldest pinball machine you have ever personally come into contact with? either by selling or just playing when you were a kid? there's soo many classics. I once knew someone once who had Black Hole. LOVE Your channel so fun to watch :)

I agree...possibly Spielberg's price for the license was too high?? Hard to say. Close Encounters was a Columbia movie...and Gottlieb was a Columbia subsidiary!!
I keep hoping Natalie Portman will show up on a pinball but my former Idol Drew Barrymore why is it always MEN making their faces on pinballs smh is there a movie tie in where a females face is bigger than the men?
Kenner toys turned down making ET toys. They realized they had made big mistake. This was before Kenner was bought by Hasbro.
With these late 70s games, they often did both an electromechanical version and a solid state version. Which do you think are best of the two?
ALWAYS...the Electronic version is superior...accurate scoring, tons less moving parts and sparking switches! Not to mention faster play.
I'm dying to see how Todd pays him back.

My Close Encounters machine has 44 bulbs where the 455 flashers are on yours… May be a silly question, but will 455 flashers work where the 44's are now? Also, where can I get a new power supply? I'd love to upgrade the original to something more modern for longevity. THanks!
Michael Reiher Yes...the 455 flashers runs on the same 6 volts and weill easily replace the 44!

whatever happened to the bucket over the door? damnit I'm in tears of that Tony. at least he cut himself with power and didn't lose a finger tip :P... seriously someone send him one of those clown gags and a hand shocker or just rip the thing out of a charcoal lighter with the click part and the line wire tape that to a piece of metal and um push the button (side of a pinball should work...

glad to know TNT still is a prank type place. never a proper place without pranks although going after the boss sure is risky. not unheard of. one of my first jobs Vending. (candy etc) Boss had a Hummer (the one that actually looked like one. One day someone saran wrapped the thing top to bottom. Then did the same thing to the toilet he used. Oh well. Must be kept on your toes. if we drifted off in A+ class (Computers ) well naturally the entire class had to shout A+ could hear that all the way to the second floor of the college building. You awake now? (yes it happened to me too just one nod bang.
i have one of these machines, was in the garage for a number of years, its missing the coin mech, the ball or balls (how many balls does it take, i bought i kit with all the rubber and lites, only one ball. it is missing the bar that holds the glass games lite but does not play ( is it worst fixing or is it junk?

anthony posey The game is just one ball play. Used lockdown bars run around $40. You would have to have a pinball tech see whats going on with the electronics though.

Hi, i have been watching your videos for a while and own two old em williams games. I am doing a overhaul on both machines and was just wondering what kind of paint you would recommend me to use. my machines are big deal and grand prix. Also just wanted to say, great videos and you have great staff.
Glad you like the videos! Steven uses paint from the local craft stores. The brand is Delta...you can also get it from Home Depot...as we have ordered it online from them---and if you spend over $50 there is free shipping. This paint allows you to mix two together to get the right shade!

How come you replace the power supply boards that are good Todd?
The new power supplies use better technology and are far more dependable...its best to try to sell a machine to make it as dependable as you can.
