I had a corn snake who was a very poor shedder , tried everything but still had to peel his skin off by hand most times he shed , very satisfying thing to do . Beautiful creatures you have there ….
Unless he had some weird genetic condition he was dehydrated

I haven’t quite gotten to own such a magnificent animal as the tegu but I have had small lizards in the past and now I have over a hundred birds. Like you although instead of tegus it’s birds for me, they are my life and my pride and joy!Keep up the good work you are doing amazing and I know the babies are all so happy to have y’all ! 💗
