My hubby and I are in a similar situation, we (well I am) cleaning and and getting ready to pack up bc we are moving too! We are moving out of our home of 28 years, our oldest daughter & grandkids will be moving in here and we are moving into another home which will need some repairs & updates. I may be missing your uploads but once the dust settles, I’ll catch up! Thanks for sharing-take care❤️

You are starting off with a good plant. The corn plant is an easy care for beginners. It doesn’t require bight light and little fertilizer. Snake plant and pothos are other easy care plant. Good luck you will do fine!
I’m a newer plant Mom, and have been really enjoying caring for real plants! The dracaena (or dumb cane) is a great choice for new plant moms. Very hearty and lower maintenance
