We rode in the uncovered bed of pickup trucks, just rolling around. We left the house at 8am and only came home for lunch if we didn't eat anything by 12:30. Parents never knew where we were unless we were right in front of them. We never got a ride to school, At 6yr old we rode our bikes 5 miles to school.😳😲

Tbh I've never found his stand-up funny while still being a massive fan of the show, but was actually ok in comparison I guess? Still nothing compared to the greats these days like Shane Gillis, Burr, etc

Not true, but kind of funny. Some parents were very aware of nutrition, mine were. In the 60s there were less toxins. Sugar wasn't highly processed and there might not have been high fructose corn syrup making kids sick. Kids had less pharmaceutical injections. Yes we didn't have seatbelts, that's a plus these days. But it's my understanding that other interventions, like helicopter parenting and softer ground at play structures hasn't made any difference in broken bones, etc.
