Since I live in the USA I couldn't buy from this company 'The Air Gun Centre' as they are in the UK. However, I did contact them for advice and they immediately responded! Excellent service! I have now received my HW100 and love it! Ok, it's more expensive than my Gamo Whisper and other rifles I have, but this HW100 is the real deal! Its build quality is incredible. Heavy, gorgeous walnut butt, the whole thing is tight! Here's the best bit... the sound and accuracy. The sound, practically none! It is so quiet! It barely makes a sound. If you flick your fingernail onto your desk, that would be louder! The suppressor does an incredible job! Once I sighted in my scope, I was hitting a penny from 150 feet, every time! I love this thing. I'm visiting the UK soon and I'm tempted to visit this UK store to thank them for their advice and helping me buy one of these in the USA. 👍
Hi Gavin, were your rifles both set to the same power? Or are they different, (for different calibres maybe.. ? ) What was the power in ft/lbs.. and would you stick to the same set up if you were starting again.. ..or might you go either up a bit, or down a bit in ft/lbs power..? Questions questions, lol. Thanks, in anticipation. Cheers, C. ..
I've been shooting since I was 10 yrs old, I'm 75 now. I have the carbine version of this rifle. It is the best rifle I have ever owned or used, and belive me I've owned a lot. I love this rifle, thank you Weihrauch.
I was going to buy a Hw100 pro kit from yourselves but one of my friends bought a rifle and the service he got was mediocre on the stock work at best. Drilling the sling mounts were appalling, looked like your technicians had hit the drill bit home with a sledge hammer. Disappointing
The only improvements they could do to this rifle is get rid of the fill probe, put the gauge on the side, and make the air cylinder bigger for FAC shooters. This gun is clock work! Amazing. When they address all that I mentioned I will own it. Nice rifle!
Is the HW100 a good hunting rifle or better suited as a target shooter? Also what calibre would experienced UK hunters recommend for pheasants and rabbits? I am guessing that .177, with.22 being better for bigger game?
Perfect for either target or hunting. 22 caries a little more energy at distance but 177 has a flatter trajectory so gauging distance isn't as critical. A well placed 177 pellet will still switch off any small game too. Pheasant head shot, rabbit head shot, pigeon or corvid head neck or boiler room shot.
Hi ,what is the gap at the end of the picatini back end then that slope ,surely a longer rail would be un level with the front .its not like that on the other weirach reviews you didn't the same videos ?your thoughts please .thank you .barry
Hi Chris l still have the 177 they are usual a bit hot in fac. I droped it back to 880 fps with 10.5 Barracudas. The 22 was a little under powered by today's standards. Around the 25 fl/lb. The newer ones serm to have more power.
Mine is .22 amd it is a newer US model bought from Airguns of Arizona. I get 3 magazines roughly. Lets call it 45 shots. I would like more; thinking about a new cylinder or bottle buddy mod. Absolutly love mine, but wish we had a shop that could do Rat Works type mods on our guns here. Would like to maximize the potential of the gun. Lothar-Walther barrel, bottle buddy, rowan trigger, tench regulator, etc.

I have had 2 of these in fac for 8 years and still think they are the bench mark in air rifles.
