Hey Mohamed,
thank you for your comment! The tool EN48246 has a diameter of 11mm how big the screw that must be unscrewed I can not say unfortunately.

@@ContinentalAftermarket I ordered the kit and replaced it on my own. For the convenience of anyone who wish to do the repair, the screw for locking crankshaft is Torx T50 and for the V-belt tensioner is T60.

I have a 2007 2.0l diesel Captiva and it has a hard intermittent starting problem...nobody knows whats wrong(but when finally starts,it goes well all day)But the next day again it has a hard start

When turning the engine twice to check tension after the new belt is installed does the vaccum tool need to be removed and replaced with the vaccum pump?

Hello Robert, thank you for your question.
Yes, the tool must be removed, otherwise the motor cannot be turned through. The pump can be reassembled after the spinning. However, it should be checked whether the tool will fit afterwards, so that the correct installation position for the pump is ensured.

Thank you for your email. I bought the locking tools to do the job myself. I see that one locks the camshaft in place. Thank you for your video, it will help me a lot when I have to change both belts, water pump and all my tensioner pulleys. There is another video in German I think with a mechanic showing the procedure with the engine in the actual car, bit more tricky than on a stand haha, but your video was very helpful to me and you saved me $500
