Whenever I have a two story house in Sims 2, I always have a crib on both floors. Having a spare near the family room/kitchen makes it easier to give a quick bottle and put the baby somewhere that’s not the floor. If there’s a first floor crib, sims tend to be drawn to it to put the baby in it. And when the family is all gathered, usually I don’t have to do a lot of prompting for feedings either. Since the baby is right there, notmally someone will go get it. As much as Brandi broke’s trailer home was poked at for not having a baby room, I have had a number of small one level houses where the crib was in a hallway or family room until the baby was a child. It made it easy to give the baby a bottle and feed the adult sim. Bonus if there is a nice first floor bathroom as well. Ideally not to far from the kitchen. With sims I’ve learned to think ‘what will make them walk less and be drawn to preferred objects unprompted’ as opposed to ‘what is my ideal layout’. When we hit toddler, I tend to have the potty in multiple locations as well until the toddler is trained. Putting it in the actual bathroom caused too much traffic pattern issues as cute and ideal as it was. For a temporary life stage, I just would like have it near the crib (s) and/or toys. You could grab the kid real quick and throw them on a potty. Play pens would have been a nice feature for this. As most parents would have something a baby could sleep in/sit in/lay in/nap in on every floor. So I no longer do one crib setups. Lord forbid twins show up. In a multilevel home I will have multiple crib locations. The days you are given after the baby is born are just vacation days. You could have called the nanny and went to work right after the baby was born. I tend not to as the need meter gets all out of wack after pregnancy. Even if I stay home one or all the offered days, I tend to call the nanny in the first days with the baby so I can fullfill mom’s needs after the birth without worrying about the baby too much.
I just wanted to say you are one of my FAVORITE sims youtubers. Your videos deserve way more attention. I LOVEEEE your videos where you use mods to have your sim live in the real world. I also love how mad you get at your sim when they dont follow your orders or they do something dumb it is so relatable. last but not least i love hearing your reacurring intro "oh hi, thanks for watching my video" thanks for brightening my day
I did the same!! I started the story with them as teens, I wanted to make Lilith’s boyfriend too but she got a crush on Molly from the high school pack so I decided to go with that lmao, really fun let’s play so far
Awesome that you uploaded this today! It's one of my favorite series of yours! Plus today's been a tad rough for me, so it's nice to have this to watch. 🎉
Seeing you play Sims 2, I am like ‘I am not crazy, Sims 2 is harder’. I’ve seen you breeze through Skill builds and house builds in Sims 4 and seem a bit more challenged in Sims 2.

Oh I thought Otis did have a memory of Jack being born, but it’s called ‘new pack member’ with little paw prints. Maybe! 😊

I am 99.9% sure that Whiny Brit's favorite sim is Dustin. So am I. He is clumsy but kind-hearted and cute.
Love your videos ❤❤
Great Episode. I would make the house nicer and get a car with the money. ☺️
I always break those two up. I much prefer Lilith.. and she and Dustin made beautiful babies! :)
