Here’s a microscopic detail that I like to do when I do tiny homes: all my nightstands and end tables are the ones with STORAGE😂 I know it obviously doesn’t actually matter in the sims, but for real life when you’re living in such a small space, you want and need every inch of storage you can get lol So for obnoxious detail and realism, I like to do the ones with drawers or cabinets, bc every little detail really does contribute to the feel of the space. @ yea! If you have cats and dogs, there a cabinet that’s technically a dresser, but it’s kinda tall, and has glass doors! And to me, it looks like it has blankets and towels in it! So if there’s room, I always put it in the bathroom, or in a hallway, or like a closet or somth! I think it really adds such a nice layer of realism to the builds, bc there’s really not another item like that in the game!
for eco lifestyle they should've added one of those toilets where the water you wash your hands with flushes the toilet (so the tiny sink is basically above the toilet if you know what I mean)... That would be a great tiny home addition as well, especially if you don't have a big bathroom.
It would've been fantastic! Of course it would've required new animations to work properly which is something the higher ups at EA are allergic to as it costs them more in worker pay so... we miss out on something super awesome.

These are all so cute!! The 8 sim house isn’t functional unfortunately, the ladder is in the incorrect position so the sim would have to jump backwards to get onto the second floor. I really love the decor of everything though! It’s all super cute ❤
22:22 You can have 10 sims in your home but they won’t all be playable. You can use the Growing Together “Stay over” feature to invite sims over. They will live in your house and interact with everything in your house like one your other sims. Also there’s the discover university roommates feature.❤️
i love this challenge, you did really well fitting certain things in where i didnt expect, and the color schemes!! amazing!! i think i wouldve changed how the last one was done, changed the layout, given them more of a kitchen area maybe. also i love your hair and your makeup!

The second houses bathroom should of been along the wall where the bed is. Then you could of bumped the wall into the bedroom, so you could put the door on it going in and the bathroom door like this (top line)┌ that way no one has to walk into bedrooms and it’s accessible outside the room and the via staircase

Using your kitchen sink to wash your hands in a tiny living experience house like I live in is perfectly fine you can clean and sanitize your sink you can use your sink for all kinds of things when I grew up there was one thing that you use pretty much for everything except for washing your fruits and vegetables we had a a metal anyways we bombed apples and cleaned our fruits and vegetables in the metal band if that's what you want to call it hard times calls for a living very tiny sometimes
The 8 sim house ladder needs to be rotated to be accessible. The sims won't be able to get onto the floor at the top. They can access the 2 sides of the ladder or go through the handles at the ladder side, but they cannot use the 4th side opposite the ladder.
A year ago you had an AI plan a challenge for you and it gave you a time frame of 2 weeks to finish... I don't know how long 2 weeks in the Sims translates into hours for us but I think pretending they have a deadline to be done with the remodel sounds like an interesting challenge... what do you think?
You can set camera positions in Sims 4 and "snap back" to them. You choose an angle, press ctrl and a number between 5 and 9 (I think it is). Let's say you chose 5. Then you just have to press 5 for the camera to snap back to that specific angle. You can then switch between all your saved positions. You can reset with alt+N, I think it is (it's been a while since I played with these settings).
There are 8 beds! 😅 There is a murphy bed in the living area, 3 bedrooms in the rooms downstairs, and 4 beds upstairs! And since the murphy bed can sleep 2, the house could have 9 sims!

A double bed wouldn’t be functional if it were in the smaller room! I guess the parents could sleep in bunk beds but I didn’t really want to do that 😅 the lot is on the gallery if you’d like to do a little renovation though! :)
Wait the last build can only fit 7sims and if you did add a dog there’s still not any dog items and I thought a sim can’t use a bed if it’s up against the wall
I don't understand the tiny half window curtains the game has so many of. They're ugly & don't do anything useful. Sun will come in over the top if placed halfway down the window & you can just see over the top of them. They'd work with shorter windows if going for a very very old fashioned build, but they look out of place in more modern rooms & it bugs me seeing them in places like a kitchen or bathroom as the fabric would just get damp & mouldy. You don't do fabric curtains in kitchens & bathrooms.
Half curtains are super common to see for windows behind a kitchen sink in my experience! I’ve seen them used both in older and more modern designs. If the game had better full sized curtains maybe I’d use them more often 😂
I like the house but I feel like you failed the challenge because for example for the 5 sims, you just put 5 beds, but three towels, four chairs outside, a little couch, no drawers... It's not for 5
The challenge is for it to be fully functional in the game for a family of 5 sims, which it is! Sims don’t actually use towels, they’re just decorative. Mirrors provide the same functionality as drawers/dressers, but I still added 2 dressers anyway. The lot is on the gallery if there’s anything you’d like to change about it to make it more functional for your gameplay :)
I'm concerned about the ramdom thing here, you just put 1 3 5 and 8 you know that for the 4 house you will have this number why do you dont put every number between 1 and 8 to really do it random. It look good though.
If I got 2, 3, 4, and 5, the houses wouldn’t look that different from each other. I chose to do it in a way that includes the minimum and maximum number of sims in order to show a wider range of styles.
STOP PUTTING FULL SIZE BED IN CORNER. Its not functional for two sims..... SIms cannot prepare food on end counter pieces either so the second houses kitchen isnt functional either
It is functional! Sims can scoot when a bed is up against the wall, so the bed can sleep 2 sims. I fully playtested everything before putting it on the gallery!

It is random, because the numbers are on a wheel that will land on a random option each time until there is only one left.

The beds *are* functional, sims do scoot! I changed the end counter to a full counter in the second kitchen and everything is fully functional! :)
in the house for 5 sims the double bed isnt functional by the other person so only 1 person can go in it
