- And so. It’s time for another huge project to be revealed here on the Auditography account. I know there are lots of A4/S4 B8 fans out there and I know you will go crazy about this. The project story is long and detailed, and described below. To rebuild a front wheel drive, manual 2.0 TDI into a screaming V8 Quattro monster, is something that most of us take our hats off to. Definitely one of the loudest cars I’ve ever heard, and also one of the coolest. The detailed finish on both the outside and inside is just perfect. Car: 2008 Audi A4 B8 DTM (380hp/460Nm, 4.2 V8 NA)
Color: Custom wrap based on the RS3 LMS

Project story: A engine swap from a front wheel drive manual 2.0 TDi to 4.2 FSi with quattro and automatic transmision. Armytrix exhaust system with valves, Brakes from Audi TT RS, Carbon fiber bodykit (wide fenders +5cm each side, rear diffuser, rear wing, cannards) + Front splitter made from ABS, Full custom interior from Audi S4, Audi RS style front grille + side vents, D2Racing Sport Gold Airride suspension with height and stiff control, Custom made BcForged, 2pcs, center lock wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires with white lettering

Love that interior! The suede/alcantara trim on the door covers, dashboard, steering wheel etc included. Also the door cards and obviously the seats and seatbelts. You can tell a lot of work has gone in to that. Looks awesome!

My 3.0tdI is 0.6 sec (4.9sec) faster 0-100 than this over the top loud V8. Diesel power!

Auditography what’s about legal in Poland? Know in Germany they require to register every change you make to a car.
Because they can don’t think the police cares so much about that as the German does :D fucking TÜV
@@becausetheycan8537 you don't have to register any changes in car. You need to do this only when you want swap engine (but nobody does it anyways xD)

Cool video, which v8 engine is in there? And what engine letters does it have? CAU / A? And what has been changed on the transmission and what is it? I would be interested.
Those rear small side spoilers on both sides of the rear bumper look really cool... A4 DTM uses them on the front bumper...

Absolute stunning Audi !!! Can I ask what was done for the Subframe for this. I currently have a A4 B8 2.0TFSi that is having a 4.2 V8 conversion and we are currently stuck on what subframe to use to attach the engine to if that makes sense? Was wondering if it was best to use a B7 RS4 including engine mounts, if this would fit or would a B8 S5 Subframe work ? Hope you guys can help

It's beyond my understanding how you can ask that, despite it says quattro in the title, in the video itself, and in the detailed describtion.
Auditography people never seize to amaze me when stuff is clearly in the video and the description. They will see QUATTRO and still ask if its quattro. Awesome video as always!!!

Toby Tong haldex is used for transverse engines (Audi a3, tt). Think Torsen is used here since modern magnetic Quattro won’t handle much torque.
