I have been making bath bombs for several years and have a love/hate relationship with them! I started adding oils and changing them up with additives until now I forgot my first basic go to recipe that worked so well. I've been searching online and last night happened on your "first ever video" - YOU ARE AWESOME! Loved this video, subscribed and watched your other videos. Thank you for renewing my faith in bath bomb making. (Last week I made a huge mess out of 2 batches and was ready to throw in the towel).

Aww thank you 😊 I'm pleased your faith in bath bombs is renewed. I still sometimes think to myself if they are worth all the hassle they cause but in the end they are. I am quite active on Instagram if you want to see other people demonstrating my bombs and get some inspiration x x 😘

Hi again Nicole, I am unfairly taking up more space in the comment section, sorry. But I've watched your videos a few more times and want to make one more observation if I may. I have saturated my brain with bath bomb videos, determined to make my own and so I've watched many different people making them and using their own recipes and you win the prize, hands down (pun intended) for having the most beautiful hands of anyone I've seen and possibly on UA-cam. It's true...I wish mine were as lovely. Anyway, I love Karen's recipes from Edens Secret and I love yours and so I will get it sorted out. Have a great day!

mrsHching2011 Hi thank you for the lovely comments. It's not really blooming it's just a way I found to get better colours but you could make your bi carb up in bulk with the way i do it. Most people when they bloom add the powderd dye to bi carb then stray with water to achieve the colour they want then let dry and use as needed but I don't find this works well you tend to get speckles in your bath bomb x x x

I was in love with the moon cake bath bombs when I first discovered them a couple of years ago. I bought a lot of the presses but 7 out of 10 bombs were unsuccessful. The group I was in always said the mix should be wetter than a regular mix and to dust the plate with corn starch or baking soda but either way mine would stick to the plate or crumble on the sides. Your mix had to be fairly dry once you started with the press plus you packed it tight. I will try your recipe to see if I have better luck with your mix. It's starting to rain now so that affords me more time before trying it. LOL, I do want to try your galaxy bombs because they look gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. De'

Thank you so much for this video! Your recipe seems to be working the best for me so far. Only been taking a stab at bath bombs for about 1 month now but I am absolutely obsessed! I'm having two issues, one is getting the right colors, I want the exact colors you're using, I love how bright they are and how nice they are in the water! What dyes do you use?
My second issue is that right from the start I have been trying to do multiple colors, which I know I should be getting the recipe and technique mastered before I try to get all fancy with them but I just cant, it's just boring to only do one color! So I have been adding the citric after all the colors are done and no matter how much binder I spray( and I have tried water, alcohol, and witch hazel) they are still wanting to dry out on me! I'm having to spray them in between each bomb I make. Is it ok to keep spraying them like that if they're still coming out ok?
Sorry so many questions, but also, do you add your oil before your citric? I tried that tonight and found I didn't have to spray nearly as much. But how do you make that many bombs without the mixes drying out?
    Thank you for your help!

...also, what brand of dye do you use? I like the intensity of the color.
    Thanks!
