I say this with the utmost sincerity -- The only reason why I look forward to Wednesdays, or hUmP days, is because of WWW. 29:00 Now supposedly, Brock was furious when Cena cut that post-match promo. He was told or was of the belief that despite winning the match, Cena was gonna get carted out or stretchered out when the match was over. To give a sign that Cena survived by the skin of his teeth and to put over how dangerous Brock is.
But Cena instead cut that promo and just walked to the back. Brock felt like he was double crossed by WWE and was threatening to walk out again. But cooler heads prevailed.

I can recall the Daniel Bryan and Yes chants were nonstop throughout both nights, and when he came out for a dark match, he said afterwards “Does anyone want to have an official Yes! shirt?” Which the crowd responded with a huge cheer/Yes chant, and lead to his first Yes shirt that he wore here.
I also remember for Raw, a lot of people saying about Brock returning, which was the first I had heard of it, so the chanting really added to the hype of his return. Didn’t expect it to happen but was worth it!

Retrospectively, if Lesnar won & Cena went away for six months while they smashed Brock over that entire time. It really could've done wonders for Cena in regards to getting over with the crowd as a baby.

They always misbooked Paul Bearer before he went off screen for awhile. With Undertaker at the Great American Bash they should've had Paul tell taker to bury him in the cement and laugh as he went under. with Kane he should've laughed at Randy thinking he had the upper hand…they could’ve played it like the Addams Family you know like “you call it attempted murder, we call it quality time” 😂

Extreme Rules 2012 is one of the best PPVs WWE's produced. Still go back and watch the 2/3 falls match, Street Fight and main event, which, at that time, was felt so unique than any match WWE had ever produced.

This was one of the PPV I had when I was young and my god I loved watching this, brings back so much memories. This was part of the reason I love Jericho, Bryan and Punk. Especially the street fight I absolutely adored

A big wheel you spin to determine the stipulation for a match? WWE must have been taking notes from the WCW mini movies. "Spin the wheel! Make the deal!"

I remember this time period of WWE a little too well. I came back from one of my lengthy excursions back in 2010. Seeing Brock return was something unthinkable. Until you realize he was taping answers to his drug tests across his chest. Like BZ, Brick (that's what autocorrect recommended and I'm leaving it) should've won but after how he left the fed I get it. There's a butterfly effect episode I'd like to see. How this one loss changed the plans for the next 12 years. We might not have Undertaker lose at Mania 30.

I was there at the Wrestlemania 28 match off between Bryan and Sheamus. How quickly those "Yes!Yes!Yes!" chants turned to "No!No!No!" chants after that brogue kick was great! Too bad it didnt come off in the broadcast .

Punk vs Jericho in the street fight was really damn good. It had the great angle behind it of Jericho trying to get Punk to turn away from everything he stood for, and the match was great to go along with it.

I'm genuinely surprised that you don't see the reason why they let the jobbers talk before Ryback squash matches. That was their way of letting you know that Ryback is the baby face and the jobbers are the heels. If the jobbers didn't do anything to establish themselves as heels then Ryback would look like a bully.
