I was there at the Wrestlemania 28 match off between Bryan and Sheamus. How quickly those "Yes!Yes!Yes!" chants turned to "No!No!No!" chants after that brogue kick was great! Too bad it didnt come off in the broadcast .
The fact that 2012 is now considered classic is wild
Lesnar losing was because of how he left last time…a ”do a job to show the locker room that you’ll do business when we need you to” thing
Thanks for this Brian! I am going to watch this event today! I didn't realize such matches existed between Punk/Jericho, Sheamus/Bryan (not a squash), and Cena/Brock that isnt a squash either lol.
I love that even to this day I see ppl incredulous that Big Show stepping through the table was supposed to happen. I even see it in some compilations/countdowns for unintended finishes. But it just goes to show you how brilliant it was.
The Cena win was undeserved but holy shit the promo/ hype package for the Lesnar vs Cena match was fucking awesome
I can see Vince thinking “people loved it when rikishi and too cool danced all the time so let’s do it again”, this the funkasaurus
Vince had to “punish” Brock for daring to leave.
Petty once again.
That was WWE's (Vince's) way of testing Brock to see if he will do business you know how they are.
9:28 “Did I do that?” 😂
