People who are saying that why he was waiting till last day, should know that he was there trying to file nomination for last 3 days and officials responsible were not allowing him to file along with others. Its just that when he thought that nomination is not possible he approached social media where he exposed so called unbiased officials.
Now question arises that this happened with him, then how much discrimination and harassment is happening with other people who are trying to file nomination in other constituency.
So it's not a laughing matter, and this should be taken seriously

This is what occurs when supposedly independent institutions are not left autonomous. The BJP has, at times, sought to establish its influence in all institutions. Despite these actions, they speak of the country not heading towards dictatorship. It is a shame on institutions and a disgrace to the government.

@@prabharao1950 Whole BJP govt passed a Law where the CJI of supreme court can't select ECI chief. They replace CJI with a Cabinet minister. Means the selection of ECI is hand of the govt.

Where is Supreme court? Same thing done in Surat, Indore and now Varanasi? Is this democracy? If there are any discrepancies, they need to be investigated or to modify if required as per requirement at least should be given opportunity? What is the objective of ECI?

And if the case was not solved on proper time . please support any strong opposition leaders. And give your all supporters votes . So that you can hit back strongly and teach them a good lesson. Try that.

This guy went to file nomination much before the deadline but he was not allowed to file it , then he made it public that he was not being allowed to file the nomination. Due to pressure, the returning officer has allowed him to file nomination in the last minute to ensure that if there are any discrepancies he will be rejected straight away.
Modi’s win is guaranteed in Varanasi but still bjp made sure to snatch the common man’s right.

No brother. Supreme court has no jurisdiction in the election commission. They recently rejected the petition about the VVPAT in every election ballet saying that they can't enforce the election commission

Immediate action should be taken against the DM for blatantly lying and intentionally disqualifying the nomination of Shyam
PPL start bashing after listening to one side .. may be there might be loopholes ..why the election commission will have vendetta against him. If other opposition leaders were allowed to file and so many independent people stand for election then why is he only targeted. He is not too popular that will lead to vote division ..

The legality very clearly mentions 11 am to 3 pm..... going at 9.50 pm to file a nomination is Rangeela's mistake. If you feel you are capable of fighting an election, you must atleast be sound with the legalities and procedures of the filing. Not hearsay of what an official might convey informally. Being dependent on that sort of information further degrades your qualification of fighting an election and dividing the vote. I even have my doubts if Rangeela has the minimum of 10 required recommendations from other elected members.
He should must be allowed to CONTEST.
