So complete and concise. I've explained a lot of this to Christians and they get upset. I was raised in a Mennonite home and church and am very grateful for the teaching which was always about following Yeshua and doing as He did, Golden Rule, 10 Commandments, Fruits of the Spirit, the Great Commission, etc. But I went to a church that had Messianic visitors and speaker yearly and I realized that "Jewish" faith is not something to be subjugated just to "Jews". Their adherence to the Biblical history became a renewal to my Christian mind! Until then, Christian "worship" was 100% correct. After being among that Messianic group was definitely an eye opener. I saw "worship" in a whole new light. I later began doing yoga for 13 years and one day the Holy Spirit gave the info to my brain that I was worshipping gods. I then decided to take one more class and He made the association very clear! So I never did yoga again. I told other Christians who did yoga but none listened. I switched to Pilates instead after researching it and found out it's just mostly isometric exercises. I discovered a Messianic fellowship and loved it, but still went to my Christian church on Sunday. Years later the Holy Spirit gave idea to research the history of the church. That's when I found out the names of days and months were all "incorporated" by the Catholic Church because they're the biggest offenders of God: they switched days from numbers to honoring "gods" (which are demons). To top it off, Saturday honors both Satan and Saturn, which was where his throne was before being cast off of it. (That was the "big bang": when Saturn that used to be close by the earth was kicked into outer space and in doing so, knocked the earth off it's axis, that's why it's been tilted.) People don't want to hear all that. They're set in their ways and are afraid of change. "What will people think?". The Holy Spirit also gave me knowledge of the idolatry of the "Xmas tree", but my parents as Mennonites didn't believe in a tree. My mother said it's shameful to cut a tree and bring it in the house. God planted it and He's the gardener of it. I realized later in life that it's really making fun of a creation of God's: to kill it then decorate it. I hope people watch your videos and open their eyes, that we are in the world but not of it. My parents didn't have a TV and neither do I. Unnecessary, frivolous and, as my mother said, "it's the eye of the devil".😊

These episodes keep getting better and better! Even for some of us who are already Messianic, but also for Christians who have never heard of any of this. God has really blessed Monte to teach these things. I love learning how God wants to be worshipped and what we need to know but may have never been instructed or taught. HalleluYah, we all can benefit from learning these things in which Monte teaches. Shabbat Shalom to everyone!

Sir I found your channel two days ago, thank you for this space.
I'm 63/64 blk in a Presbyterian Church a former Muslim.
I love the people at church most are your age and "white" I want to find a messianic church but I feel compelled to stay put and continue being active in ministry and to keep trying to impress this messianic message.
I get questioned as to why I don't celebrate Easter, Xmas etc, and I give honest answers.
I keep kosher and men's Saturday bible study is my sabbath service.
    BTW pray for me please

I was a part of the Protestant Church. It doesn't align with the teachings of Catholicism. But still, the lack of scriptures is still there.
But i found out things in their true form by studying about and through the scriptures. Started to learn that the roots of Christianity and it's history are completely different from the Bible. Some times questioned my faith. Sometimes questioned myself if I'm doing anything wrong for thinking the Protestant church is not true church. But i found nobody to answer my questions until i myself found those answers by examining the scriptures myself.
One day, as i had doubts about the matters regarding the Torah observance, i wanted to search in the UA-cam about that. I wanted to make sure if there are anybody like minded. That's when i found out there is this thing called "Messianic Movement" in which there are thousands if people like minded thinking just like me, eager to learn much about the Hebrew traditions, learning Hebrew, observing Shabbat and especially Torah. Then i found this channel. From that day onwards to this day, i always admire these people. They are more than a blessing to me
To some, the quarantine during Covid was hard. But to me, I'm thankful that i found the truth in that period.

I began following Jusus at a young age. He has always put it in my heart that these religious holidays are merely traditions of men. I don't even celebrate my own birthday because i don't see how it glorifies God. I can't say that I've not desired to know more about scriptural festvals because I have. I've gotten very overwhelmed just studying them and don't believe in doing something half hearted when it has no meaning for me. But i also know that in the age to come, i will be taught what it is needed for me to know, the Lord assures me of this. As it stands i celebrate the Sabbath and Thaksgiving only,

This is such a good video with very good teachings. Unfortunately, I'm the only one in my family that "gets it". Talk about getting "alienated" during the fleshly world's holidays...but every year it gets easier & I'm counting it all "joy" & obedience to my Master Yeshua. I can only imagine celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles with others - in the company of Yeshua...oh my!😊

My experience is that there are 2 different messianic schools I.e one towards Christianity which accept the Christmas celebration and the another one more towards towards
Judaism which says that Yeshua was created and if he had been God he couldn’t die . I left this because I felt this was rubbish!

My goodness, that was an eye opener Rabbi. Im personally confused, because , i am thinking of what Paul said. Talking about circumcision here. Us christians dont have to become Jews and you Jews dont have to convert to Christianity, we are all One in Yeshua. Us Christians will be grafted into the olive tree when the time is right. No doubt i havent said that correctly , maybe someone could tell me. Its so interesting about the two calendar times. I will listen to this again, and probebly again. I am a Bible student that has been studying for 43 yrs and absolutely love the word, YESHUA, and waiting for THE GREAT DAY OF HIS COMING. Shalom Monte.

A believer who isn't Jewish doesn't have to become Jewish but does have to become Israel. That is what Romans 11 is all about. It's very important to view scripture with that understanding. The right time for that is now. As Israel you are a part of the same covenants and promises of YHVH (God). You also therefore have the same commandments and instructions given in the Torah. There is no difference in YHVH's eyes as we are one in Messiah. In order to understand Galatians 5 regarding circumcision first read Acts 15:1. Paul is referring to those who were teaching that you must be circumcised to be saved. In Galatians 5 the summary is "I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Messiah will be of no benefit to you... You who are TRYING TO BE JUSTIFIED BY TORAH have been cut off from Messiah; you have fallen away from grace." Keep watching Monte's teachings and learning. If you love the Bible it's why He sent you here to learn Truth. Many of us have been on this same journey and it gets really exciting when you put the pieces together. Blessings and Shalom!

Thank you Mr. Judah for your teaching. This teaching on time is important for us born with a Gregorian mindset. However on the question of the Hebrew calendar I notice that you are using the Babylonian month names. As we also do with the week days. In trying to be Torah observant. I find a conflict with this and in Shemot 23:13 where we are commanded not to even have their names on our lips. It seems straightforward to me. So I thought I would mention it.

The verses you sited are regarding very specific issues. These are people who remained outside of the covenant, but if someone who was not an Israelite by birth wanted to come in and keep covenant and follow Yah’s ways, they were to be treated the same and considered a brother. The New Testament clearly states in Romans ch 11, Eph ch 2, Gal 3:26-29 (which harkens back to Isa 41:8) that we are grafted into Yah’s people, Israel. No one is adding anything to Yah’s word for cursed is he that adds to or takes away from His word.

Okay I am confused and need assistance. Today is April 22nd 2024 with the full moon schedule tonight. The full moon as I remember is always the 14th day of a biblical month. If I remember correctly Passover is supposed to be the 14th day of the first biblical month so it should fall on a full moon. When I look at your website calendar date for Passover 2024 it reads April the 2nd. If I'm not mistaken April 2nd would be the Passover under the Dead Sea Scrolls Calendar and of course is not a full moon. This year in particular was confusing trying to determine Passover. Wishing to observe the correct Passover I am seeking assistance in this matter.

      Not true.
The 13th month occurs about 7 out of every 19 years when, at the conclusion of the 12th month and the new moon is sighted but the fields are not Aviv (Abib) or ripe for the barley harvest in Israel.
      It's Biblical:
Deuteronomy 16:1 KJV - "Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night."
      Upon the Exodus from Egypt:

@@eswn1816 the scripture you used does not in any way mention a 13th month. It is not biblical. The moon was not to be used for the calendar. There are supposed to be 12 months of 30 days with a 4th day intercalated each quarter for a total of 364 days according to the sun. They came out of Babylon following a lunar calendar and have been off ever since. Yah’s calendar is perfect…it never changes. The closest one we have to it today is the Zadok calendar kept by the temple priest in qumram after their exile.

      1) Where does the Bible require 12 months of 30 days?
      2) Use of a 360 day year would slowly bring pesach into winter and totally mess up the harvest feasts.
Your 4th day "system" is not found in the Bible.
      3) The scriptures I quoted clearly show the use of the moon to begin the month and the Aviv barley to begin the year.
      4) It is solar (sun-day) calendars that are pagan.

@@eswn1816 the books of Enoch and Jubilees both speak in great detail of Yah’s calendar and it is indeed solar, not lunar. The sun is the greater of the 2 lights as described in Genesis. Those books were in the 1611 KJV and the Geneva Bible thru 1881. There is a reason they books were removed. Yah’s calendar and feasts are fixed. He is an Elohim of order.

One question I haven't been able to answer in my mind.. Why do we see in the Gospel accounts appointed times referred to as "a feast of the Jews" and similar wording? Why wouldn't the writer assume that the reader would know what it was? And why would the writer not refer to it as a feast of the LORD, as it says in the Old Testament?

    • @tbishop8462
      @tbishop8462 Рік тому +1

I would say because at that point in history the Jews were the only ones keeping the Lord's appointed times and so people would have referred to it as their feasts which has brought about much confusion amongst the body of believers because when we read the word for ourselves we see that he established them and they belong to him. But because of the division of the two houses of israel, the southern kingdom of Judah and Benjamin and some of the Levites and then the remaining scattered remnant that ultimately joined them, became collectively known as the Jews and they are the people who God entrusted to preserve his word and his ways. The problem is they also added to his ways.

I will pray for those who obviously Love Yehovah that they enter into the deeper truths so we can align ourselves to the Will of Yehovah, you are still going by a calculated Calandar.

The reckoning of days from evening to evening was inherited from Babylon. Before the exile, the Israelites reckoned their days from morning to morning. Evening to evening is a tradition of men Yeshua warned us about, just like with Sunday Sabbath.
    Check out these scriptures:
    Matthew 28:1
    Leviticus 7:15
    Deuteronomy 21:23
Yes, some of the holy days like passover and the day of atonement are celebrated from evening to evening but they are not the same as the weekly Sabbath. In Exodus 16 when the Sabbath is first given and mentioned it doesn't say celebrate it from evening to evening because it was from morning to morning. In verse 23 it says to prepare the food for the morning because that's when the sabbath started, not in the evening.

~ The Differences Between the old covenant and the New Covenant ~
🌋 The old covenant was given to the national Israelites at Mountain Sinai when they exclaimed "All Yehovah hath spoken we will do",
    Exodus 29: 8.
The old covenant promised prosperity and protection from physical enemies for obedience.
The Torah of it was written on stone,
    Exodus 31: 18.
Those of the old covenant do not have their eternal lives being judged in this age, but their physical lives,
    Hebrews 2: 2 and
    Deuteronomy 11: 22 -23.
The vast majority of people have lived and died knowing nothing of their Creator, and only the devil would then judge their eternal status.
Mosheh was the mediator of the old covenant.
One need be born as a national Israelite, or become a citizen of national Israel and obey the Torah to receive those benefits,
    Exodus 15: 26.
    💫 Hebrews 8: 13,
In that He sayeth "A New Covenant", He hath made the first old; now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
The New Covenant has Yeshua as mediator of a Covenant with better promises,
    Hebrews 8: 6.
It contains the same Torah, written in the hearts of those called,
    Romans 2: 15.
Between the two, Yehovah confirms His principal of 'first the physical, then the Spiritual',
    I Corinthians 15: 46.
Yeshua said He will build His Assembly and the gates of the grave shall not prevail against it,
    Matthew 16: 18;
not on Kepha/Peter, a small stone, but on Himself,
    The Rock.
The New Covenant is given to a Spiritual entity, and provides a Spiritual understanding of the Torah,
    Matthew 5: 28.
The New Covenant Assembly is a small flock,
    Luke 12: 32.
One must receive a calling to come out of the world to become a member of the New Covenant, and brethren are called while citizens of countries all around the earth,
    I Corinthians 1: 26,
    I Kepha 4: 17,
    Acts 10: 15, 28, 41, 44, 45.
The New Covenant is the only Covenant promising Eternal Life for obedience,
    Revelation 2: 17 and
    Revelation 3: 5.
We of the New Covenant will be raised as Spirit persons in the First Resurrection, at the return of Yeshua.
    There is no renewed covenant.
To claim such is to deny the atoning suffering, death, burial and resurrection of Savior Yeshua.
Those who died/die in the old covenant will be raised to physical life again in the Second Resurrection, Praise to Yehovah!,
    Ezekiel 37: 1 - , and
    Revelation 20: 5a,
    a parenthetical statement:
(And the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished).
During the first thousand years of Yeshua's eternal reign on earth, He will begin offering the New Covenant to the House of Israel and to the House of Judah,
and to the gentiles of that time; they being grafted in because of it. But the calling will be to many more: All in the Second Resurrection,
    Jeremiah 31: 31.
Verified by their living before the White Throne of Yehovah, as it will be their opportunity to accept His calling to His beautiful Truth,
    Revelation 20: 11 and 12.
Some are the firstfruits, and so all the world's people (except the beast and the false prophet) who have ever lived, not called to the First Resurrection, are the second fruits!
Yeshua will restore all (good) things,
    Acts 3: 21.
So it is sure He is going to resurrect all who were miscarried and aborted, their families raising them in the utopian age of the 8th thousand-year day.
The Second Resurrection is going to be the
    Biggest and Happiest
    Family Reunion Ever!,
    HalleluYah!
All possible because of the differences between the old and the New Covenants.

Jeremiah 10:1-5 is not talking about Christmas trees. Consider the context of the chapter, it’s talking about a craftsman creating idols. “For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.”
    ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭10‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Similar passage to Isaiah 44: “He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it. Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto. He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire: and the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭44‬:‭14‬-‭17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I have learned to tell my Christian friends i celebrate Why The Savior came not When. Because there is no date and i do not want to add anything to His Birth story. Yah gave us dates on every Holy Day He ask us to celebrate. So if He wanted us to have His Son's Birthdate and celebrate it He would have clearified it in The Scriptures. I love The Birth Story of our Savior. It is Holy and amazing just l8ke it is. There is so much Biblical Prophesy fulfilled at His Birth. When i tell my friends or family, i dont celebrate Christmas they think im not celebrating Christ birth ? Even though they are not for the most part either. Its mostly about the Tree and santa. They think im not being a Believer? In their minds the Santa and tree and Christ birth story has been mixed together their whole lives as the same thing. They dont know or understand it is two different things. I didnt understand this either most of my life. At first i would say i no longer Celebrate Christmas. But that just offended them. I try to be more thoughtful how i explain it to them now. Yahshua's birth story is amazing. When i was a little child i would look in the heavens at Christmas time and cry as i thought You, The Son of God who had everything left heaven to come to us to die for our sins. You were so humble born and placed in a manger. Now i think on His birth all year long not just once a year. I think about Where and Why He came. He was born in Beit- Lechem in Hebrew is also called House of Bread, in the Shepherds field at the House of David, in the land allotment given to Judah. Yahshua became The Bread of Life, He is our Great Shepherd and The Lamb of God that takes away our sins. He is the Prophesied Son of David. Born King of the Jews and died King of the Jews. He is The Lion of The Tribe of Judah, this was also His inherited Land Allotment. He was born there and He also died in Judah. This was the question from the Temple leaders they said the King of Israel will be born in Beit- lechem. They did not even know where He was born. He came and fulfilled Tabernacles as He Tabernacled among us and covered us with His Wings and Healed us and became our Tent- Sukkah, where we dwell. He brought us to His Father's House to become one with Him in Spirit untill we are there eternally. He was born to be ImmanuEl , God with us. How amazing. I never want to mix anything worldly with His Story. This helps me to explain to my Christians friends so many things. I left the Christian holidays once i learned Truth. I still love the Christians. These teachings will help them a lot to understand so many things. Thank you for Teaching us, brother Monte.
    Shalom and blessings.

Yes the Lunar calendar is all they had and the count of the month/moon was started at the New Moon, rarely celebrated today. There are at least 30 different calenders in the world
The Yisharalites did not have a calendar with names of days and months, instead of Our ALMIGHTY FATHER 🔥YAHUAH's numbering system, until they were in Babylon and saw the Babylonian calender. Then they made a Hebrew calender, thus a pagan name of Tnuz(son of Nimrod & Simaramus) is one of their month names.
