_Race to the Edge_ is definitely the best show DreamWorks ever based on one of their movies. The animation, new dragons, storyrelling, and character exansion was amazing. It made Snotlout likeable for crying out loud. But I agree, there's definitely a lot more they could've done with Heather. A lot of ways her story could've been expanded upon and given far more focus.
I argue that while yes Dagur surviving does weaken the sacrifice scene, we do still get big pay off with moments like him finding his father that’s a bit more powerful than if it was Heather who barely remembers him. Dagur has to live with the fact his father’s blood is on his own hands. (There’s also the whole, Heather being tricked for her eye piece that sets up the final season thing that wouldn’t have worked in this supposed head cannon, but let’s just ignore that for now) I also feel that while there are similarities to Clone Wars, Race to the Edge doesn’t have the advantage (or rather disadvantage) of having really any loose ends to connect between films that Clone Wars had. Still, your idea does seem like it could’ve worked if more episodes were able to be made. Though I will make the argument that Johan as a villain actually was set up pretty well, even if it may have been by accident, considering all the trouble he has caused the riders.
Still a way better show than Nine Realms. It's funny how that show has a smaller cast and yet none of the characters feel as fleshed out as the characters in RTTE. Even characters who only appeared in one episode felt more distinct than the main cast of Nine Realms.
Honestly johann kinda worked for me. It was a twist that actually worked well for me. Because when you go back and watch you can kind of tell johann if fed up with the riders witch in a frist watch seems like he’s just annoyed with them. But when you learn he the villain it makes sense why he frustrated. He hates them and that annoyance is his true self sneaking through. And it makes the show a lot better as a watch for me.
@everythingiscool6228 I think he would have made a good mini boss. Not the true villian but high up. Sidious and Count Dooku in The Clone Wars something like that.
I think the problem people have isn't the idea Johann being a villain. I actually really like the idea and I think it was foreshadowed pretty well with how he almost got the riders killed whenever he asked for their help, heck in his first appearance in Riders of Berk he was the one who gave the flowers to Mildew in order to make the dragons sick (though you could argue that he only did it for the money since he himself stated himself that he's been working with the hunters since Breakneck Bog) I think where people have a problem is the fact that he's revealed to be the true leader of the dragon hunters. As much as I like the twist I do feel like having him be the true main villain was kinda pointless, personally I think Johann should've just been working for the dragon hunters and Drago in order to find the Bewilder Beast because they promised him a lot of treasures
Thanks for addressing the twins-Astrid saga. It literally annoyed me how they tried to make Astrid be in the wrong over there. Sure she has some issues, which she eventually gets over, but in that situation she was 100 percent justified in lashing out at them. Astrid was put in charge of them, tried to put them to work but instead of working, they were fooling around and messing things up which eventually she had to do the work by herself, which they also messed up again. And when she lashes out, they claim she does not respect them. Why exactly should she respect them when they keep on being reckless idiots? I really don't blame Astrid for not taking them seriously. In fact I don't either.
Regardless Rtte is still an amazing show that I highly reccomend people watch. It does a really nice job of addressing some of the plot holes in the 2nd movie and what actually happened between the first and 2nd movies
I disagree with Johann being a villain came out of nowhere. If you consider his appearances, it adds up. Notice how in most of his appearances, he either brings trouble that causes disaster and/or nearly kills our heroes. Heather was nearly killed by Dagur by one of Johann's "bad intel". Or how has been indirectly aiding Dagur since RoB. Hell, his first appearance has him bring flowers that are deadly to dragons. Now, do I think he was conceptualize to be a villain at the start? No. But I'm of the belief they planted seeds during RTTE just in case. It just so happens that they got really lucky. Also, I don't think Johann was the leader of the Dragon Hunters. He was only working with them, probably around Season 2. Afterall, Johann betrayed Viggo and would've likely done the same with Krogan if given the chance.
There are literally so many signs. The point of a twist villain people seem to forget is that you DON'T see it coming. Toothless growls at Johann the very first episode he's in. What makes it make sense is that you can see the pieces in retrospect, and that's VERY tough to do successfully in storytelling, so I give them very hard applause for that--best twist villain I may have ever seen.
Aight, I've had this idea snow-balling in my mind for a while now, and here are a few good ideas as to how I'd fix "The Nine Realms." We start the show by preestablishing the fissure and Razorcore (Sidenote: I'm rolling with Razorblade's suggestion to name them Razorcore instead of Icarus). We make it clear that the meteor struck almost a decade ago and the first attempt to explore it resulted in the original base falling deep into the fissure, with Tom's dad among the many who were assumed dead. The show would then establish this as a new base of operations and the second attempt to explore the fissure. Tom and his mom, Olivia, are introduced the same as they are in the show, but now they speak to each other more coldly and orderly. Drawing inspiration from "Evangelion," Tom and Olivia would have a similar dynamic to Shinji and Gendo Ikari: The former desperately wants to have a strong connection to their estranged parent and do almost anything to be acknowledged, while the ladder has been jaded by the loss of their partner and are too fixated on their goals to show any kind of compassion to their son, speaking to them less as their parent and more so as their supervisor. From here, there could be a few moments where Tom briefly sees a mysterious creature, later established to be Tom's Nightlight, later named Bolt (I'm changing Thunder's name to Bolt because it's a more tolerable name) in hopes of gaining gratitude from his mother, Tom ventures into the fissure on his own and encounters Bolt. The two are then trapped deep in a cavern for several days and have to work together to escape, eventually leading to the first flight. When Tom makes it back to the base, he's then apprehended by the bases security team and brought to Olivia to explain his absence. Tom is presented with an opportunity to say what he found during his time in the future, and he chooses not to bring up the existence of dragons. The first season would play out similarly to how it does in reality, with Tom showing each of the kids the hidden world and teaching them how to ride the dragons. If you really want, you could even have the final battle between the tunneler dragon and change it to be a Whispering Death. However you want the first season to play out, it would end with Olivia discovering the dragons and imprisoning them. The second season would then kick off with Tom and his new friends freeing their dragons, being declared enemies to Olivia and the rest of Razorcore, and establishing a temporary home in one of the nine realms. The rest of the series would then have our characters discover each of the nine realm (Each season comprising of 8-12 episodes, where they discover two or three new realms per season), with the final realm containing the first base that was assumed destroyed. Tom and his friends would find the research team that was lost with the base to be very much alive, living alongside the dragons, and being lead by Tom's father. He'd function similar to Valka in HTTYD2, and that he would be a "Wildman" that has grown attached to the dragons and will do whatever it takes to protect them from the rest of humanity. As the series progresses we'd show the Razorcore capturing the dragons and experimenting on them, resulting in Olivia weaponizing the dragons against the first research team, who are assumes to just be cave creature that have learned to ride the dragons, mainly because of them all wearing dragon-mail. The final season would then conclude with Tom being left with an ultimatum: stand with his father and the rest of the dragons, or stand with his mother and the rest of the human race.
Wait this sounds so badass, the cave in gives Bolt and Tom a chance to actually bond as well! Like at first Tom is terrified because "OMG that is a real dragon" and Bolt is like "what is this fleshy thing and is it dangerous?" and with the common goal of wanting to get out they can bond and learn to slightly trust each other and their bond can grow further over your alternate series. Maybe Eugene can be like a season 1 antagonist, but during season 2 or the season 1 finale he becomes an ally since Olivia is the main big bad.
Yes, please talk about Viggo someday, "Monster? no, Savyv businessman yes!" ^ iconic (edit): I don't really find Dagger's survival that much of an issue, I don't remember too much about the placement of episodes. But If it was like somehow right after the 'death' one then yeah that'd have been bad. But Dagger surviving itself isn't an issue, as it gives heather a second chance to have more scenes with him. The main issue was they don't properly *focus* on that and actually have Heather trust that Dagger isn't with the antags. And I argue against the idea that dagger's death alone showed stakes, we get shown that tones of times in smaller ways. It's execution that matters for 99% of cases and while not the worst, Dagger and Heather aren't handled the best either. I do agree with most of your arguments though Well except the Jouhan one because like thats actually really clever when you look at it. He was kinda the guy constantly leaving out important info and responsible for 90% of the problems hiccup and them face. Like he's in the perfect position to be revealed as an antagonist without violating any pre-established information on him, merely recontextualizing it.
44:17 well ... that or being adopted , but yeah , youre AU of both Race to the edge and The 9 Realms kinda get better in some ways, im just excited of a future full video of yours on it
Its great to see the show that shaped my childhood slightly finally having some recognition. Its interesting how many things from the series went into httyd 2. The Dragonblade, Skullcrusher, more stuff like that
I love RaisorBlade's videos! Back in the day, I enjoyed Riders of Berk, Defenders of Berk and Race to the Edge more than the films. Count myself lucky I haven't seen The Nine Realms.
Maybe the nine realms could have focussed on your idea with that icarus (or razorcore wich do`s sound cooler) teaches the kids about dragons, but add on something I think needed more screen time: The meteor in the beginning of the show. maybe it lands in the middle of the nine realms (or biomes as you call them) where it give's of a strange energy that cause's dragons to go berserk or even mutate or evolve into new versions. like maybe a monstrous nightmare that instead of setting itself on fire coats itself with rocks to be more tanky or deadly nadder that leans more in the ice element with frozen spikes and fur to blend in with the snow. this could be used to make some of the older dragons come back in a new and interesting instead of just...showing a giant skrill.
Fun little story about Heather: I live in germany. When race to the edge first aired in TV it was like one episode every friday and saturday. The entire week there were teasers for the friday episode. The teaser for the first episode Heather was in involved in RTTE the narrator talking about a mysterious stranger dragonrider and Heather was shown in her hood with the mask and she did not say anything. Guess what: The friday it was planned to air i told a homie in elementary school: "I think its this Heather from riders of berk" and well... What happened? Yeah. My 7 year old me was a smart one. Also Heather was the first fictional chracter I had a semi crush on by the time RTTE aired. Also: Flip you I love RTTE. Maybe its just nostalgia but Its my personal favorite content of the HTTYD franchise. Also back then I watched the shows i had no idea there were movies about it. I watched the first one when RTTE season 2 was finished airing and the second movie when season 3 was finished airing. Also also: when you played the clip around 32:20 I got goosebumps because it was so freakin' nostalgic.
I'm glad you've done a video on this show. Even though you don't think it was great, I'm happy you liked it, period. I agree Heather deserved more. My favorite thing was seeing Hiccup and Astrid officially becoming a couple. Thanks for another review. I always appreciate your work.
I wish Heather got more development in this show. She is so missed potential and she should have been more important in the character’s development like Ahsoka did with Anakin. Though she was barely in the show. Hell I almost forgot she was even a character when I rewatched the show. You really made a point of how this show had so many missed opportunities when it came to characters
I actually didn't like the twins at first, but I grew fond of them even though I still found them annoying from time to time, especially ruffnut. I have a headcanon for httyd 2 and it would be different, the story would be the same but with some elements of the original script where valka is the main antagonist, but Drago being the secondary antagonist of the story, Heather would take Eret's role, eret is still the leader of his dragon trappers and is still evil, and toothless while the new alpha wouldn't have those Godzilla powers and would only be alpha to berks dragons, not all the dragons.
My idea of changing "The Nine Realms" would be having two descendants of Hiccup since he had a son and daughter, they could be cousins. One could take after Hiccup and the other could take after Astrid.
@@FantasticFawnleap They could, but I think if they decide to recreate the scene where one of them discovers a secret dragon. It would be an interesting contrast to look at it from a familial perspective as opposed to two potential lovers. Not to mention it would be a chance to explore how differently they approach certain situations while seeing how well they work as a team.
@@FantasticFawnleap Also, characters tend to be more interesting when they contrast. For example, Hiccup and Fishlegs are the most knowledgeable of their group, but while Fishlegs finds comfort in his books, Hiccup tends to take a more hands-on approach.
@@FantasticFawnleap No one else noticed that Meatlug was a girl and Hiccup is mostly oblivious in regards to social behavior, which, as a neurodivergent person, I find to be very relatable.
Best lines: Who’d expect Thor’s mighty hammer to hit Snotlout’s paper jaw? If my calculations are correct which they usually are. That our dear Hiccup is on his… last leg! Who knew that one legged scrawny Viking had that in him?
I just don't see how Heather's story didn't have a complete arc. She went through all emotions in her story, from first appearing as a stranded lost girl, hating her brother to realizing he's first off, her brother, to pretending to join him to in fact truly loving him in the end. Her story ended in RTTE because it was quite honestly finished, just as Dagur's was, and we only had 2 years left on the immediate timeline. And tbh I couldn't stand her borderline when she first appeared, so I was glad we got her in small doses. (I love her very much after the facts)
I actually liked Johen being the villain, the amount of times he sent the riders on dangerous if not outright suicidal mission’s suddenly makes sense if he was trying to kill them instead of just being an idiot who was always in the wrong place.
Honestly I didn't mind knowing charachters can not die or get permamently injured couse that wasn't the point it was entertainting nonetheless I mean you know they will win in the end from the very begining of the show. I would agree with you on twins though but they were more entertaing and interesting in the race to the edge. They definitly could have done more in terms of their charchter development and how they are not serius enough when it matters and that kinda ruins the mood sometimes. That Astrid twins episode well yeah true could not symphatise either
One of my favourite episodes is the "Thor Bonecrusher" episode. It's silly and not actually important to the overall plot, but I find the nuances of Astrid making fun of Snotloud falling in love with Fishlegs/Thor Bonecrusher really interesting and seeing this side of Snotloud gives him more depth as a character (atleast I think so). I love this (almost!) casual representation of Bisexuality or Pansexuality (as we don't know for sure) and I wish they would've done more with this. I loved the Series and it overall gives so much more depth to the characters, even though it's not near enough for me...
I believe that, as the series exists, Razorwhips should not be in the anime Realms, since they would not be in Race to the Edge without the Wingmaidens
There's an AU were Heather is taken in by Drago and essentially becomes his daughter and second in command for the Northen Allience granted in the same AU hiccup is raised by dragons and toothless can talk but i digress
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how Hiccup and the gang thought it’d be a good idea to lock Dagur and his *lava spitting* dragon in a cell made of wood? On another note, one of my favorite details about Heather and Dagur is that they share the exact same shade of green eyes. On another nother note, I hate how irrelevant Viggo becomes at the end of the show. He gets replaced by two worse antagonists and than gets a ridiculously sudden redemption arc (more like a spike than an arc) before getting killed off. If they increased the show’s focus on Heather, and made Viggo the main villain all the way through, it would’ve improved the show drastically.
How about RaisoorBlade, I have two questions for you. One, if you are still interested in your How Would I Fix series, what would your ideas of fixing bad movies be? And do you know Pooh's Adventures?
You are bringing a few good points, but I would like to see them in practice. Is there any fanfiction that rewrites the franchise from after the first movie and fixes its issues?
17:20 when Ashoka left the Jedi order Star Wars fans cried on that day,20:45 mark hamil not only do Luke in the original trilogy and the joker in Batman the animated series but he voiced darth bane the creator of the rule of two that allowed the sith to survive for a thousand years under the Jedi’s blind noses.
Here is the thing...this is an issue in...nearly every show ever based off a movie...companies just are absolutely terrified to really handle unknown variable because they fear a show will immediately flop cause "oh it don have fav character >:(" so they don't have any sort of freaking clue how to deal with characters that aren't attached to the mains... this is also true in videogames like in me andromeda (though that was not the only issue with andromeda the entire team there was set up to fail honestly it's sad) and it is def true with the nine realms, these people rely to heavily on old already successful properties and not enough on the ability to tell a story
You're probably right, but as a fan I was very happy, and they didn't bring him back as soon as they could have. At least they didn't give away his return in the episode title.
I love heathers story and I think she should have been in the second movie or third, including the wing maiden and defenders of the wing. Even the berserkers to help fight when at the lowest point. Also, I didn’t really like that at the last episode fishlegs and snot out suddenly fell in love with ruff nut. Fishlegs and heather had a really good relationship.
So like with the complaints about stuff like the writers trying to put u on edge cuz Astrid might die I think just like the whole “ oh she’s fine in the movie after this so why should I care” I think something like that could work if it lasts long in the show so instead of u wondering when she’s gonna be done like with being blinded because she’s fine in httyd 2 they should’ve had it last longer so u wonder how long she will be like this and how it could give her or other characters long term development
So I know I commented this before but I'll elaborate more to you. Since Razorcore is already a descendant of the medians, its not hard to believe a company descendant of the blood fist tribe can't be created (Lets call them mimir corp) But unlike Razor they strive to make dragons actual weapons and killers. But that's not enough so they create a better plan, hybrid or genetically modified dragons
I think they should’ve made more episodes about Dagur he is the best character I really hated the dagur and mala ship though literally made me puke but I think heathers just really boring tbh.
11:06 Yeah, about that episode.....I did not like the fact that Ahsoka didn't take responsibility for killing that one child of the villain when she clearly DID. It was HER actions that killed him, not the other way around!
You mean when she DEFENDED herself?! Uh no. Absolutely not! She did what any rational person would do in that situation! She DEFENDED herself! You're gonna blame her for defending herself?! That's kinda messed up dude.
@@raisorblade I don't blame her for defending herself, what I have a problem with is her not taking responsibility for it! Also that was someone's SON she killed!
It's was Garnac, the fathers, actions to use sentient beings as part of their game reserve that resulted in Dar's death. Yes, hunting is crucial for Trandoshan culture, but religion doesn't exempt from the consequences of murder.
How coem Heather couldnt appear in the later Dragon movies as the shows and movies are in the same world unlike Madagascar shows and movies as Marline the Otter is only in the Penguins show , so thats why she didnt appear in Madagascae 3 .
I’m sorry but I disagree there were so many hints of johan him driving away most of the riders right when the hunters attacked dropping a dragon eye lense
I love the Twins in the HTTYD series. They had way more to do just like the other characters. I am sorry but Astrid was a bitch in that epsiode because she doesn't respect anyone on the team but Hiccup and Ruttnut called her out on it.
I came to watch a video about httyd not star wars its fine if its 3 minutes of explanation as to why its a good show but 20 minutes of it is boring and stupid
well the prequel trilogy is absolutely terrrible and rushed so basically the entire clone wars show is spent giving a million and one reasons for anakins descent to the dark side
I was mad , but the among us meme jokes got to me 😂 BUT, if you want Heather to be the main character, then it shouldn’t have been called dragons at all! And Joanne being The Baddy is the mean one of the biggest plot twists of all DreamWorks ! And at the end of the video, you have ruined a good series, and made Heather (one of the most interesting characters) GAY! (that’s what happens when you watch too much owl house) Basically, there wasn’t another dragons the nine realms season ready so instead you decided to moan on race to the edge. Oh, spoilers he turns heather, gay ! (That is what happens when you watch too much owl house) BUT ITS NOT FINISHED, because if you wait till the end, he’ll give you one of the best theories I’ve ever heard 😂😂! (Wow, I never knew razor blade would disappoint me this much!)
Someone's both homophobic and knows nothing about this Fandom. Heather being made gay is NOTHING new. Also, if a character being gay is enough to ruin anything for you, then you're no fan of mine. Kindly go F&$k yourself! 🖕(couldn't even spell my name right!)
@@raisorblade You said in your "About section" that "you will hate my videos" and that seemed like you accepted that, but here you are saying this in a reply. But I can admit that your editing skills made me laugh so hard.

Yes, please talk about Viggo someday,
"Monster? no, Savyv businessman yes!"

(edit):
I don't really find Dagger's survival that much of an issue, I don't remember too much about the placement of episodes.
I do agree with most of your arguments though
Well except the Jouhan one because like thats actually really clever when you look at it. He was kinda the guy constantly leaving out important info and responsible for 90% of the problems hiccup and them face. Like he's in the perfect position to be revealed as an antagonist without violating any pre-established information on him, merely recontextualizing it.
44:17 well ... that or being adopted , but yeah , youre AU of both Race to the edge and The 9 Realms kinda get better in some ways, im just excited of a future full video of yours on it
I love your take on heather it makes so much sense, she definitely deserve better.
Awesome fanfik in the end! Dreamworks should definitely hire you as a writer for tnr
"Based Snotlout" fucking killed me lmao
Here me out, they make a How To Train Your Dragon Berserker show.
Its great to see the show that shaped my childhood slightly finally having some recognition. Its interesting how many things from the series went into httyd 2. The Dragonblade, Skullcrusher, more stuff like that
Heather must be really good at casting the teleport spell.
I love RaisorBlade's videos! Back in the day, I enjoyed Riders of Berk, Defenders of Berk and Race to the Edge more than the films. Count myself lucky I haven't seen The Nine Realms.
Nine Realms Season 6 is 3 weeks away!
God help us all...
God dammit NOOOO WHEN WILL THIS NIGHTMARE END
Let's hope it's the last one
Oh hell no
Shoot I heard it was bad.
The Astrid getting hurt compilation left me WHEEZING
Fun little story about Heather:
I live in germany.
Also also: when you played the clip around 32:20 I got goosebumps because it was so freakin' nostalgic.

that "filler" episode gave us "Thors all mighty hammer"
Yes it did!!
The its hard not life bit 😂
I'm glad you've done a video on this show. Even though you don't think it was great, I'm happy you liked it, period. I agree Heather deserved more. My favorite thing was seeing Hiccup and Astrid officially becoming a couple. Thanks for another review. I always appreciate your work.
why is that you're favorite thing you would already know they'd become that from the second and third movie's which this show takes place before
I wish Heather got more development in this show. She is so missed potential and she should have been more important in the character’s development like Ahsoka did with Anakin. Though she was barely in the show. Hell I almost forgot she was even a character when I rewatched the show. You really made a point of how this show had so many missed opportunities when it came to characters
Yea your fanfic/alt timeline is way better than the original + Alex would have the slight badass genes(astrid) and the nerd genes(hicup)
The nine realms makes race to the edge look like the best show ever
Using that Scott Pilgriim meme to start the video was a great choice lol😂❤
My idea of changing "The Nine Realms" would be having two descendants of Hiccup since he had a son and daughter, they could be cousins. One could take after Hiccup and the other could take after Astrid.
One question why can’t they take after both!?
@@ThePrincessCH I don’t consider Fishlegs or hiccup to be that smart when Fishlegs mistook his dragon for a male and Hiccup can be dumb and oblivious!
@@FantasticFawnleap No one else noticed that Meatlug was a girl and Hiccup is mostly oblivious in regards to social behavior, which, as a neurodivergent person, I find to be very relatable.
Bro the twins are the best part
Best lines:
Who’d expect Thor’s mighty hammer to hit Snotlout’s paper jaw?
If my calculations are correct which they usually are. That our dear Hiccup is on his… last leg!
Who knew that one legged scrawny Viking had that in him?
16:07. 😂😂😂😂. This is the most funniest part of the video
I actually liked Johen being the villain, the amount of times he sent the riders on dangerous if not outright suicidal mission’s suddenly makes sense if he was trying to kill them instead of just being an idiot who was always in the wrong place.
... berserkers would be so drugged out that they sometimes maim and kill their own allies. They go berserk, it's on the tin.
You are amazing, dude.
you just united my 2 favorite franchises ever
Still better than the dumpster fire that is the nine realms!
Race to the Edge of The Series Finale?
There's an AU were Heather is taken in by Drago and essentially becomes his daughter and second in command for the Northen Allience granted in the same AU hiccup is raised by dragons and toothless can talk but i digress
is this a fic? if it is what is it called and where can I read it?
WHERE DID YOU FIND IT
WHERE DID YOU FIND IT
WHERE DID YOU FIND IT
WHERE DID YOU FIND IT
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how Hiccup and the gang thought it’d be a good idea to lock Dagur and his *lava spitting* dragon in a cell made of wood?
On another note, one of my favorite details about Heather and Dagur is that they share the exact same shade of green eyes.
On another nother note, I hate how irrelevant Viggo becomes at the end of the show. He gets replaced by two worse antagonists and than gets a ridiculously sudden redemption arc (more like a spike than an arc) before getting killed off. If they increased the show’s focus on Heather, and made Viggo the main villain all the way through, it would’ve improved the show drastically.
Yeah, one of the worst things about HTTYD shows is how almost every villain has a redemption arc
I honestly forgot what you were reviewing.
the astrid part killed me lmaoo
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTAND THAT RIDERS, DEFENDERS AND RACE ARE ALL THE SAME SHOW!!!!
How about RaisoorBlade, I have two questions for you. One, if you are still interested in your How Would I Fix series, what would your ideas of fixing bad movies be? And do you know Pooh's Adventures?
5:30 The twins point is to be annoying. They have the purpose to always be there when we need a good laugh.
6:57 It’s a hard knock life!
You are bringing a few good points, but I would like to see them in practice. Is there any fanfiction that rewrites the franchise from after the first movie and fixes its issues?
24:10 luckily I was to young at that time to think that far and I was shocked 😂
WHAAAT rtte made me love the twins they are so funnyyyy
6:00 FBI open up!
I loved her so much. But they kind of just pushed her off to the sode. She was AMAZINGLY developed though for the scenes that she was in.
Did you know the Dom did a Lost in Adataption for How to Train your Dragon ?
i love this so muchhhh
the montage of all the times Astrid gets shit on in RTTE had me fucking dying-
Shit on? Wdym?
16:12 Straight up facts lol 😂
21:20 They can't show us when daggur kills her parents because later it is shown that he didn't really kill them
He didnt kill their father... he did kill her adopted parents
Æææææææ, what did you say about the twins. I love them. They are funny and realistic. 🎉
audrie has already hired an assassin and will take care of you shortly
It's nice that you can get to make vids on httyd content other that tnr
32:37 I'm still so mad they brought him back! It was such a perfect ending for him
You're probably right, but as a fan I was very happy, and they didn't bring him back as soon as they could have. At least they didn't give away his return in the episode title.
Bruh you wanted Dagur to die fr fr? 😭😭😭😭 I was legit depressed.
I love heathers story and I think she should have been in the second movie or third, including the wing maiden and defenders of the wing. Even the berserkers to help fight when at the lowest point. Also, I didn’t really like that at the last episode fishlegs and snot out suddenly fell in love with ruff nut. Fishlegs and heather had a really good relationship.
lol i love the twins there so unreasonably stupid
naa they introduced the bewilderbest it was not all filler. Plus viggo was he best villian by farr and we also saw glimse of draco and krogan
Yeah... A crazy hunter who wanted to kill her. Sorry if I don't feel any sympathy for him at all.
@@raisorblade Anyone that loses a loved one deserves some sympathy. Whether they be good or evil.
What is the bit a the begging from
Ngl i just separate ep 3 and the other prequels tbh its just that much of a difference.
BYEE, There's so many scenes of Astrid caring for EVERYONE EVEN SNOTLOUT AND THE TWINS LMAOOO
@@giselamaciasleon6844 She couldn't even say she respected them in that epsiode lol
I dropped the show after Dagur came back not gonba lie
can you do shera the old and the new and show how they came to be
but the sword of fire and the king of dragons
What audio is at the beginning
I came to watch a video about httyd not star wars its fine if its 3 minutes of explanation as to why its a good show but 20 minutes of it is boring and stupid
Maybe watch the full video so that my thoughts of RTTE make sense. Giving up halfway is boring and stupid. Not to mention lazy!
and skull crusher and grump
well the prequel trilogy is absolutely terrrible and rushed so basically the entire clone wars show is spent giving a million and one reasons for anakins descent to the dark side
I just watched the first five minutes and I'm already siding with Audrie Greywind.
16:12 I take it you haven’t seen THAT comic
@@Kaijusaurus-Rex-animations I think I'm allowed to call someone on being a homophobic dick dude.
We can call this video “rewriting race to the edge”
3:27 could’ve sworn he was American
Why is 4 are always a bad luck man.
Why we talk about starwars it is race to the edge
nooooo spoilers for the clone wars :(
5:43 6:01
I'm sorry but I think that the twins are the best part of the franchise.
42:32 to 43:07 - So, you basically made Dragons: The Nine Realms into something like Jurassic World, only 6 or 7 years later.
