Recently though I tried out doing part crochet in the back and then doing the individual method in the front half. I think it works way better in my opinion. You should try it out if you haven't already.

Because my hair is natural and the hair has such tight curls, i believe thats what prevents it from unraveling.

Lol, yes girl, closing my eyes makes a big difference. The hair really doesn't get frizzy by the time I take them out, so no, I dont experience that.
