This video illustrates the points I'm always trying to make in a funny way. The girl dancing/cheering reminds me of my younger daughter who we always have to remind to stay focused! 😂

He said softball is harder because every single pitcher has a riser, screwball, sinker (called a dropball), changeup, curveball, and fastball. My sister said the _sport_ of fastpitch softball is harder, but the average high school baseball player is better because there's a bigger pool of players to pick from. About half the people who tried out for my high school baseball team wouldn't make it but only a few wouldn't make the softball team.

Well I'm in seventh grade and I already had tryouts and my first game is march 1 so all I got to say is for catching,always have two hands holding the mitt,hand in the mitt and other hand squeezing it.Batting just swing like you mean it,and don't rest it on your shoulder.Hitting zone is your torso and above the knees anything above or below don't hit.And that's all hope you do good

Shake it off and redeem yourself with an even better play or hit. You'll make some serious errors if you don't focus on what's going on in the moment. And another really important thing is to not get a big head. I know it's hard because I used to have one of the biggest heads, but when you get lined in the knee cap, you humble down a bit. Have confidence in yourself, but don't get bossy just becuse you think you're better than other girls. Be optimistic and I swear you'll have a fun year. Oh, and winning isn't everything, but it sure as hell is fun.
