What a fantastic little battler you are Carly. You'd make a great Aussie (we're renowned battlers here). There's something inspirational about someone who's not afraid to get into the thick of the action, even if they might come out a bit bruised and battered.
You've taken on more than your share of the damage and shown you still love playing the game. Heal quickly and well. Lots of love from down under. BTW. Kudos to you Tanner, for being a wonderful supportive brother. You are both an amazing credit to yourselves and your parents too. ❤

young lady, what i said after ur back surgery goes here as well: listen to ur doctors, do ur pt, do whatever it takes to heal 100%...yes ur young, yes u heal better and faster than an old fogie like me, but the last thing u want to do is push it now to get back out there, and then have it give u problems when u get older. EVERYONE prays for your speedy recovery.

Hi, Carly and Tanner, Thanks for the update on Carly's foot, because of her young age, she should heal quickly and I hope that you don't decide to stop driving and just concentrate on swinging the wrenches for Tanner, because I really believe that you seem to have a little better car control than Tanner does. Injuries to the os calsus or the calcaneus (the heel) are problematic. All of your weight bears on those bones when you walk. Prayers for a full recovery and you are young, so that is a positive thing looking forward.

I broke my arm about 20 years ago. I was an avid waterskier, the docker said I may not ski again. Six weeks to the day I was waterskiing. Carly is tough, she'll heal fast.

Carly, Approach recovery and therapy like driving the race car. Determination , hard work, strength and winning attitude. I give you about 4 weeks and your back in a race car. I think you should talk to the officials about reinforcing the nose of the race car. It’s paper thin which led to your injury. It should be mandatory. I pray for quick healing and speedy recovery. Get well soon.

Get well soon, know what you went through, I broke my heel bone and have 12 screws and plate in my foot. I was told not to touch my foot to floor for 3 months. Good luck and speedy recovery.

Know how you feel, Same thing happened to me in 2021.
I' hope she'll be ok . I've had a lot of brutal wrecks in racing through the years including 4 wrecks where I violently rolled over several times . Most of the time I walked away with only bruises, thin layer of skin torn open on my back and a hairline fracture on my right index finger. Even bailed out of my burning race car too with lots of black smoke and flame. But kept racing. Got some wins along the way.

I honestly want to see her in a brand new 18T kart and see you 2 race each other. I honestly believe that she's faster than you Tanner. You both have a lot of natural talent. You both are winners. Just keep moving forward and keep pushing each other to do better. Prayers that Carley heals up quickly and gets back behind the wheel. Just glad to see that you 2 are very close

Can't speak to the heal being broken, but had a bone on my forth toe broken when I was 16 . Was on crutches for 4 days then was walking on it. I have a small lump still on the top of my foot but other than that every thing is fine. And this happened almost 40 yrs ago.
The screws are supposed to be permanent but that isn't a guarantee. I had screws in my ankle and six months later they started working their way back out.
Looks like some foot safety systems are in order for those carts. Get well soon
