Special guests racing this weekend will be Indy driver Scott Dixon in the #01 Cadillac, forner F1 driver Jenson Button in the #5 Porsche 963, Indy star Josef Newharden in the #7 Porsche 963 and Helio Castroneves in the #60 Acura. Also dont forget that Ben Keating will be racing a Mazda MX5 in the MX5 cup. You can catch both races in UA-cam today and tommorow.
The key to that is to inquire when they will be unloading. In this case it was Wed AM. I was in the paddock at 700am. The crews are busy setting up their paddocks and generally have all the cars wide open to inspect and film, with the exception of Penske Porsche of whom seem to hate me and make my life miserable.
Some tracks charge for infield parking and thats the way to go but Daytona thats a wait list and both Sebring and Road Atlanta over sold and people where stuck outside so yes every track you can get into the paddock but if you are not camping and want to make things easy on yourself get car corral parking from a manufacturer guaranteed parking spot or get there EARLY each day
i dont know how i find your channel but i love how natural and good vibes is your voice and what you show greetings from argentina , here we are excited too for see who is the champion! long live for the new endurance gold era.
Thanks 😊 for your encouraging comments and for listening. I hope that you can catch the race in Argentina. If not, give it a couple of weeks to be on you tube. The Mazda MX5 race tonight should be uploaded on UA-cam right after the race. It is the best sounding and closest racing you will see this weeknd. Look for my friend Jared Thomas to win. BEN KEATING will also be racing an MX5 this weekend...EXCITING.

Andrew. Inquire as to when they unload their cars as they are scheduled. I show up about 700am in the morning when are unlaoded to shoot my video. Team RRL told me to let them know when I am filming, next year at Rolex, an they will open a cockpit for me. Thanks for watching.😊
Thanks for the kind words. Ive only been at this for 6 months..I really focus on 1/43 and other scale die-cast cars. Since I race bikes, I've got a few bike reviews. Startec doing Paddock reviews at Watkins Glen and have had a few drivers subscribe. Hope you can catch the races on UA-cam or TV.
Thanks appreciate the kind words. Be sure to subscribe as I will be doing 8 races in 2024 including Daytona 24, Sebring 12, Watkins Glen 6, VIR (2) races IMSA and Fanatec, Mid Ohio, Indianapolis and Petit LeMans.
Me and a mate are doing Austin GP (GA) we really should have sprung for this! I bet 3 day tickets were very reasonable . Probably could have upgraded the tickets for the swankier package,no?
F1 races are fun in person but so crowded these days and you can't get anywhere near the cars - sports car and indy you can walk right up into the pits its the ultimate fan experience
Yes. The Petit LeMans was on Saturday. It had the biggest crowd Ive seen in 5 years. Hope you made it as it was a phenomenal race. THANKS for watching.😊
I personally think that the cars of today are the best. The new Ferrari 296 has not moved me, i like the 488. I own a Corvette C7 and will never by a C8. The best sounding cars are the LMP2, LMP3 and the Corvette C8. Best sounding cars ever are the Ferrari 458 and 911 RSR GTLM.
Certainly will not miss LMP3. Glad they are going away. I'm not a fan of LMP2 either. I like the direction of WEC for next year. Hypercar/GTP and GT3 only
If it wasn’t for LMP2, endurance racing would’ve suffered greatly. Racing has always been great too. It’s also a superb class for customer racing and that to me is 50% of what endurance racing is all about. I’m glad IMSA is keeping it. The grids on WEC will be poorer for it in my view. There has to be a cost balance. Many LMP2 teams are heading to IMSA or ELMS next year. The FIA/ACO have to be careful they don’t make their series factory only and drive the smaller enthusiast teams away. Plus the Gibson engine sounds awesome! 😅
@@andrewharper4296 It has its place in certain places I guess. Perhaps 2024 gives us the right balance of P2 presence. Still it only matters if you have a rooting interest in the actual teams and drivers. Which I don't.
As the saying goes. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". And these cars of today are too ugly. What is beautiful to me are the Ford Gt 40, Ferrari 330P3, 512S, 512M, Porsche 908, 917, Matra 670 and Ford P 68, to name a few. The engine notes of the older racers also for me have a better sound. Especially a Matra V12.

My goodness the front end on those BMWs are gorgeous!
Wait till you see in the dark..you can't miss it. Thanks for watching. PS: the BMWs did not run well although both did finish.
Appreciate your comments. Thanks for watching.
i love walking round the paddocks at race events, so cool to see how close you got to some of the gtps!

The JDC and Weathertech Porsches look great!. The llivery on the Penske ones are hideous. They should use the 2017 Porsche LMP2/GTLM paint job
I think the Porsches look the best of all. Proton 1st and JDC Miller ( the Banana Boat ) in 2nd.
The exhaust valves cant be seen unless your superman . jk 🤘🏼🏁

You have a great insight as to the liveries. Porsche have many to pull from. However, they are Penske and have a way of doing their own thing.
I’ll have to disagree I love the extra traffic and love the sound of Nissan V8’s
