The Williams family has entertained the world and there's never been a nother family that can do what the Williams family has done for the music 🎵 business and I'm happy to have seen his son Hank Jr and had the chance to talk with no Kilgore so many times I'm hats of to the Williams family... Love his old band members.. "I'd do it all again.. And for the same price... Which was NOTHING." My mom bought a Greatest Hits album of HW in the mid 70's. I liked his songs right away, even tho I didn't really care for Country Music. His songs are timeless.

Hank Williams was a "GOOD OLE' BOY Southerner" who had 'Demon's' like the rest of us. The main difference between him and some others is, he COULD NOT SHAKE the 'DEMON OF ALCOHOL'!!!! And Hank Junior, even though he's Hank's son, needs to understand that his father was a 'TALENTED man', but a MAN NEVERTHELESS!!!!

I'm not a big fan of country music at all but the story, songs, & ambition of Hank Williams just amazes me. I have the utmost respect for him, always will. the way he could tell a story with his music impresses me. the only other country musician that I love to hear is Johnny Cash. these two artist's were the only ones my mother & father could listen to at the same time. lol!!! other than that it's hard Rock & heavy metal for me. I just hope all the country fans can forgive me....

HW, had a voice that can not ever be duplicated, case closed. I, myself sing his songs, and enjoy them as they are meant to be enjoyed, but never get the idea that you can match his deliverance and performance. The guy was a phenomenon, like an Other World Manifestation. Take it all as a gift to humanity.

Hank's wife, angry at her husband's low-down drinkin' ways, hits him with a whiskey bottle as he snores.
    "You killed Hank Williams!"

I don't know why but it seems like some people like it when country singers (I'm looking right at you, George Strait) just stand there like they just got their whole body covered in a bucket of cement. Alkies like to blame their drinking on other people ("her nagging might have caused him to drink") but it's their own decision. Got nothing to do with anyone else. An alcoholic can't take one drink, ever. "One drink is too many and a thousand is not enough."
