Hey Matt, awesome dude! You're the man for sharing an insight into your rig. Always impressed by your generosity to share the magic that generates the Heafy sound! A handful of pros like you certainly makes you stand out to mere mortals like me, thank you!
Hey Matt, huge fan I actually saw you on this tour in LA and that’s how I got introduced to trivium, been hooked ever since. You are awesome man it’s cool to see backstage, I’ll never forget the experience and what an amazing band man!
First things first. Dig the music brother. Now the video. I am a 51 yr old metal head. I am so jealous of the kids today. I would have given certain parts of my anatomy to see Eddie, Randy, Page, Hendrix or Dime bust out one of these videos when I was 15 and just getting started on the fiddle. I know it's all in the fingers but to see exactly what your signal runs through is cool as hell. Keep on rocking Horns up.
I appreciate when a musician is a gearhead. You see some guys who will admit that they haven't tuned a guitar it 25 years. To me it causes kind of a disconnect between the musician and his instrument of choice. Matt just seems like a good dude with real interactions with his fans.
Great rig. Assuming that all the pedals in the fx loop are in series, the fx loop section would benefit from a switcher or routing matrix so that the dry preamp send signal from the head (after the boost pedal) can be run in parallel to the reverb and delay, and so a sum of the preamp and delay can then feed the reverb (or as in the case of this rig, a sum of preamp and reverb would theb feed the delay). Otherwise you get a drop in volume due to those pedals having mix knobs instead of dedicated wet and dry controls.

I wish more bands interacted with their fans like this and gave this much detail on their rigs. Awesome!!!
Watch every one of Matt's Fishman blogs and take a drink every time he says "Alex's Kit"
Alex’s kit

Finally! A pedal setting and amp settings video! Thank you, now on to trying to get that ascendency tone.

Really great setup. Amazing.
Dude my inner fan girl was extremely happy to see that Matt’s rhythm tone was really similar settings to what I prefer 🤘🤘🤘 haha
Love this series.

Are Trivium still Kemper users overseas? That would be an interesting rundown. What profiles you guys use etc...
I love the simplicity…

Very nice! You missed the depth knob though 🙂
Great video Matt i always look forward to rig rundown the meat and taters of the show..👋🎶🤘😈🍻
Didn't expect to see the low knob at 10 on the EVH amp
Didn’t expect any of those settings apart from the clean. Red channel for rhythm🤯

We need another run of MKH or Trivium rashguards 😁🎸🥋
Is the two notes how you get your 5150 in your in ears? Would love more explanation on that
Will we see Corey's rig? Btw, "this is the head" - that's what HE said. :D :D
What is the resonence setting on the back of the 5150?
