Me
Same 🤘
You damn right. Even though it's supposed to be short and sweet, I feel. I love this beat. :)
2005: Get Me Gone
2018: IOU
Me!
Its awesome how LINKIN PARK sticks togather no matter what.
People from Fort Minor left?
TheGamerN00b 1
There was only 1 dude in fort minor and his name was Mike Shinoda. He was part of a band called Linkin Park but also did fort minor as a side track to see how people would like his rapping without the Linkin Park rock music.
ABSTRACT SHNITZEL Thanks
TheGamerN00b 1
np
ABSTRACT SHNITZEL Actually, Mike's still in the band. He never left; Fort Minor was a side project.
The only thing that sucks about this song is how short it is besides that its amazing
I know right..... I wanna hear more of their perfect music
Still a lyrical masterpiece
"Maybe Joe Hahn should wear a labcoat and cowboy hat"...
I thing that would look like asian combo of Mythbusters onstage
RIP Grant Imahara
But Mike is like half of Linkin park, they would be half a band without him
+Myrddin Bramucci sorta.mike is definitly a big part of them ya
+Kazuto K, now that i think about it ur right, but still, who would want to get rid of Mike from any rock band
truth.
+Kazuto K This is myrddin, i am looking for subscribers for my channels, if u know how to make a video, or if any of your friends do, plz follow my account, and tell them to too, i really want to start making some videos
+Kazuto K sorry this is the guy i want you to follow
Without Mike and Joe, Linkin Park would not be what they are now, but would be an ordinary rock band of the second level of the 2000s, there would not be two great albums that are famous not only for the voice of Chester, but also for Mike. rap and Joe's cool beats. It's good that Mike did not pay attention to this and continued his work. Mike, you are the best, we love you. Sorry for the english)
Sorry but you cannot say anything with Chester Bennington in it would be ordinary. The way that Brad Delson does NOT want to shine as a guitarist or does soloes but ingeniously makes the most simple riffs catchy as Hell is unique.
Chester was a great talent but I always thought Mike was the diamond in the rough that make them stick out compared to all the other Nu-metal bands at the time.
yes. if they wanted him on keys im sure theyd want him out soon and wouldnt keep hahn either because they wanted a rock and because they are asian. they wanted mike to wear a mask for god sakes. its so unfortunate people hated them so much because they where too good to be true, they had to be manufactured when they where actually the realist thing. people still have the misconception about then to this day. they shouldve sued lol
"nu-metal" is such a joke of an etiquette. Many bands were referred to as "nu" but honestly it didn't mean shit. Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Korn, Static-X, even Fear Factory at some point... all these bands sound very different.
Diamond in the rough is an album name with a7x :o
@@ArpeggioPegasusMusic Well ur kinda right and wrong. All nu-metal would sound different considering they are a mixture of multiple different genres with the base of heavy metal. Kinda depends on what elements/influences of other genres they ran with.
They weren't nu metal. Mike's legitimate hip hop credibility is why it's baffling that people lumped them into that crowd.
I love how he talks without missing a beat
More people need to know about Fort Minor They are simply Amazing
Hopefully their next album will bring light to everyone
Ikr
G20 If they make another album that is
@@OneTeeGlory lol 7 years later ;)
@@CLAIRE-_-. mans really replied to a 7 year old comment with a wink like that shit was a W smh 😂😂😂
Mike's raps and songs gave meaning to my life. When I feel good, I listen to Enth E ND. When I just miss someone, I listen to Where'd You Go. When I feel mad, I listen to A Place For My Head. When feel desperate, I listen to Iridescent.
Mike Shinoda defines my life in 4 minutes.
I know this reply is a bit late but still...
Thank you so much! You are awesome.
After reading your comment, I tried to find some of the songs you mentioned.
First song I searched was "Where'd you go".
After listening to it for a bit, I realized something - I already knew this song.
I really liked it back then but haven't heard it for a long time.
Back then, I didn't even know the artists (I knew about LP but didn't know/realize that Fort Minor was Mike Shinoda's solo project). Kinda dumb, I know... :-D
Listened to the rest of the song was just great!
Back then, I didn't really understand it (was too young) but nowadays I do and this song hits me like a truck...
Still, I wanted to thank you. Without your comment, I wouldn't have found that great song again! :-)
rip chester
MIKE MAKE MORE SONGS WITH LINKIN PARK DONT GIVE UP ON YOUR FANS YOUR AMAZING
mike is literally like 80 percent of the band
Him 60 and chester 40
@@maruf7956 I think he is talking about Fort minor.
Joe Hahn deserves infinitely more credit for Linkin Park's killer sound. Every member of LP are the reason they were as amazing as they were. With Chester gone, even if they still love it, there is a huge hole in the band that really can't be filled. And that isn't even my opinion, Mike literally said that's the reason they cut off that line from their logo, because an irreplaceable part of the band was gone forever.
@@Hey-Its-Dingo you insist the others are talented yet suggest they cannot go on with out chester with chester being irreplaceable. haha which is it. who cares if they sound different. no 2 albums sounded the same. please give these musicians who have the utmost integrity credit and cheer them on for their future.
@@GotoMaki4Micah I didn't say they can't go on without him, I said an important piece of the band is missing. Which is a sentiment that Mike Shinoda has expressed as well in interviews. They are all infinitely talented, but they also lost a huge talent and close friend. Linkin Park is a band who has had almost the same members since their 1st album, Dave joined just after the album came out, and then they lost Chester in 2017, those are the only line up changes they've had since their 1st album.
Oh man linkin park wouldn't be the same without mike rapping he's so fucking awesome he's just amazing even though Chester is the best singer mike is the best rapper and this combination is just AWESOME
don't say it's short coz what Mike said here was more like speaking his mind and he has the balls to rap about how the label treated him.
definitely one of the most underrated rappers out there. Fucking brilliance encapsulated in musical genius...just like Epik High are.
yeah i love lp and chester but mike doesn't get nearly the amount of credit he deserves, he's my fave member and my idol
I just love Mike's rapping. It was him who attracted me to Linkin Park in the first place.
I remember reading somewhere that One Step Closer was written about their producer. After hearing this, I definitely see where all that anger and frustration came from.
That was about the producer of the album, this is about their old A&R guy.
@@Xerofortethis song was about Jeff Blue. One Step Closer was about Don Gilmore

Straight up destruction
Who still jamming in 2017?
Xx_The Man_xX me
Yup. Nostalgia. I loved this record when it came out, still love it
Me
still now and it's 2018
2019 bud
It's 11 years later and I'm still bopping to this shit.
You are in 2021?
Yooo you are in the future :o
Fort Minor needs another album.
It was funny at first, but then the humor faded when some magazine printed that our label made us.

Holy crap. I was not expecting that level of fire. AWESOME!!
This song is awsome
Talent is what you call turning everything that comes out of your mouth into music. Shining example: Mike Shinoda
This beat is so good.
they need to have a 30 minute long version of this song so i don't have to click replay
This needs to be longer!!! :)
We need more fort minor!!! I love this
Still love hearing this #2020
Pure class.
The intro is dope!!!
this is awesome
fort minor awsome
Shinoda ruuulzzz !
2019 and jamming.
Holy Shinoda🙌
Fort minor is the best band ever🎶👌🤘
2018! Still my jam.
mike shinoda was the only reason i listened to linkin park and if mike shinoda quits rapping ima cry myself to sleep at night and ill make bitches remember the name and get em believing me that ill light up a cigarette say fear me know haven em all petrified and all of a sudden there they go and my my buddies like where'd you go?
I think "A Thousand Suns" was a great album, plus Mike still had a few rapping parts, which was an added bonus.
I wish this song was longer
BEAST OF A BEAT @@
A lab coat and a cowboy hat xD
That would legitimately make Joe Hahn look epic though xD
I love you unconditionally Mike.
Mike rapping in the front and Chester's melody in the background is nirvana for ears
Look at the lyrics!!!!! The dude, he said that, like, when we were making the first Linkin Park record
He was like,
"Yeah you know, I don't know about the rapping like, I don't know... maybe you should just be a rock band."
1 РУССКИЙ КОМЕНТ. МУЗЫКА ТОП!!! МОЯ ЛЮБИМАЯ 🎵🎶👍
Linkin Park new stuff is freaking awesome. I don't get why people are always bashing them. Mike Shinoda's rap verses in ATS and the two new song Burn It Down and Lies Greed Misery are just fucking badass and doesn't sound wack at all! Mike keeps involving his rapping skill. And seriously I cannot fucking understand why a lot of ppl hate new Linkin Park.
I haven’t explored it much. Do they still make heavy songs? Like, screaming, explosive guitars, all that? Point me to some heavy newer songs by Linkin Park and I’ll explore it. 🙂
@@morgandunn6384look up The Hunting Party (6th album). It's their heaviest album and I rank it just behind Hybrid Theory and Meteora as their best albums
Very nice
Keyboards man.
i wish this song was longer :(
i love you, you just explained all my arguments in 450 characters
Thats nice
My life story too! So much in common. #feelinthelove
@tornendra idk, he still rapped in ATS.. Wretches and Kings, some in Waiting for the End, and When They Come for Me, but it aint the same as before.
Sad how such a great band and rapper are no more

Woahhhhh
i wish this song was longer
I am seriously shocked to hear all the stories Mike says through Fort Minor!!!!!!
I reeeeally want to see Mr. Hahn in a Lab Coat and Cowboyhat though!!
complain about the rapping all that you want, cause the beat is just on another level lol
You got it completely wrong. In the song "Cigarettes" Mikes explains why he is not in the game - for him its a bluff, its not a real thing. He is an artist before he is a rapper and he wants to make art and is really happy of his status as main-man in Linkin Park. He still spits over whatever song he wants.
This should be longer
Honestly, I want it to be longer song
I know, right? People have forgotten what good music actually is...
No one tried to kick him out, he's a founder.
I would assume it was the producers trying to influence LP.
Glad they didn't.
Linkin Park backs Shinoda up! Fuck yea.... I love his rap in their albums.
Mike Shinoda and Mr. Hahn should should make a rap album. it would be epic
This song is the statement that old Mike Shinoda is gone....
RIP
yes
Linkin Park wouldn't be Linkin Park without Mike!!
Same Here
WTF!?!? is wrong with that guy who hit the dislike button ?
this song is sick!!
I don´t know, but I usually REALLY LOVE short songs :S
I swear Mike alone is 30% of the band and Chester 20%. The rest are 50%.
@hizetsorin323 I love Linkin Park Music and also Fort Minor songs. But after I knew that Linkin Park existis, I also knew that Fort Minor exists too. Well, but I love them both.
was that it is this a shortened version I'm sure I heard this song (or the beginning of this song at least) but on a longer track
@FortMinorVideos omg, man he was an amazing rapper! :(
efsane be
There is not a longer version of this??
I would like to hear the chat/interview they use in this song. Anybody know where I can find it, if it even exists?
Grew up with this is dude bro
Never ending story.
:megusta:
get me gone 💿
The dude, he said that, like
When we were making the first Linkin Park record
He was like:
"Yeah you know, I don't know about the rapping like, I don't know... If it's like.
Maybe you should just be a rock band."
You know what I mean, like, trying to change us
Like they signed us as an act like what we sound like
And then he's like:
"Oh I don't know maybe you should just play keyboard"
Before the first song that you heard me on
There were people already tryin' to get me gone
Tellin' me to quit rapping, "Just play the keys"
That my band had a singer, they didn't need me
But my band had my back so we did the tracks
Put out the album and the talk went flat
It was funny at first but then the humor faded
When some magazines printed that our label made us
We were to be good to be true
Some were saying ghost writers were writing all that we do
So we had to disprove it:
We spelled it out to the detail how we do it when we're making this music
After that I made it a rule:
I only do E-mail responses to print interviews
Because these people love to put a twist to your words
To infer that you said something fucking absurd
Oh, did I lose you at "infer"?
Not used to hearing a verse that uses over first grade vocabulary words?
People used to "infer" that we were manufactured
Now I've got the interviews on file
Which people said what, which number to dial
So now every enemy screaming insanity
All they're ever gonna be's another big fan of me
Bitch
Can you believe that?
Like it's crazy, it sounds crazy right?
Like at this point, at this point you're thinking, you hear it out and you're like
"That guy was out of his mind"
But honestly that's what he wrote
Besides the fact that he wanted me to just play keyboard or whatever
He didn't want me to rap
He was like "Maybe Joe Hahn should, um
Wear a lab coat and a cowboy hat" on, like when we play
I swear to God he was crazy
And later on he claimed he wrote all our songs so that was really bad."
Base Producer: "use boring skit to High Road"
Mike:
The beginning =]]]
800th like
@tornendra He is with linkin park
mike says "like" alot :D
@FortMinorVideos Everyone from fort minor said they wouldn't mind it its up to mike. >w
anyone know if there is a remix 2 this song
everyone was just jelous cause linkin parks debut album was stunning
And now I'm waiting for Mike to rap in the new Linkin Park songs...
Me too 2019 BRING LINKIN PARK BACK.
He rapped in Good Goodbye
This song would be waaaaaay much longer :P
