- On the night of 6/4/2024 Mass Coastal MC-4 rolled through Myricks Junction with two rare Tropicana reefers. These cars, rarities in this area, were unloaded at the transload dock in New Bedford, MA earlier this week and were being returned empty in this video. The loads were likely railroad salvage as the cars did not have their refrigeration units on before being unloaded. Also in the consist were a few other cars from Ice Cube Maritime Terminal in New Bedford.

I would watch looooooong Tropicana trains head northbound through Alexandria, VA station in the 1990s. 🍊
Are those standard size boxcars? They look longer
I did a double take and went to take pictures when I saw it at the Sid Wainer/Chef's Warehouse dock!
Tropicana and the train cool stuff.
❤ I love Tropicana juice I remember seeing that train in Florida
Awesome i like trains
I’m guessing a backhaul
Didn’t hear the reefers going
Could be wrong, but kinda strange to see that consist in the middle of nowhere
Juice is good!
I’ve seen the juice train in Bradenton, Fla and I see it almost daily on the Ashland Rail cam.
Tropicana cars havnt been down that line atleast over 15 or more years there use to serve Taunton
I saw those cars in Attleboro. That was over a month ago.
Trop is my favorite!🍊
beautiful… every town along the line should have on of these transload facilities…. thank you for sharing this good news!
Historically "team tracks"were everywhere 'along the line.'
I have to laugh at the transition championed here. Transloading was historically done on "team tracks" which were every and anywhere. This is not anything approaching a modern notion, old hat just more expensive.
