My device is a different model, so may I ask " does it matter which film goes over the other film at the slice ? Could cementing the wrong film side mess up the travel of the film through the projector or / and digitizing machine ?

Hi there. That is simply a spare scraper, ready for exchanging if the original one gets worn out.
