- Well, it was rather cold this morning. In fact, it was the coldest since I bought this car. So I was wondering, if it starts OK. It´s a petrol engine, so no surprises there, but anyway... :)

Same car same mileage :D Interesting to see what happens going forward. Its my first bmw :)
My first BMW, too. Happy so far.
Wow -11°C! You’re lucky if that’s the coldest it gets!
I know :) In recent years, it doesn't dip much below zero here. How cold does it get where you are?
@@DIYProjectX I live in Canada so -11°C is a good hahahahaha! We’ve been lucky this year so far, but we usually get -20°C -30°C! We also usually a couple of days where it’s -40°C.
@@lucaflaccop.4106 Wow, now that's really cold.
Should have made the video today. It was -18. ;)
@@DIYProjectX Me too it’s -18 today lol
tak a temperatura silnika pokazuje ze rozgrzny byl
The door were shut frozen and there Is no temp gague on this car, buddy. Why can't you simply accept that petrol engine has no problem starting in low temp?
Has this engine been kind to you?
Or unreliable?
So far, it´s been rather good. I had to change the intake manifold gasket, no other big jobs needed. I may need to refresh the injectors soon.
@@DIYProjectX how many km and how long did you own it?
It is now pushing 170K km. I´ve had it for over two years now.
what is the cold start test if the engine is fully warmed up
Not sure what you mean. The car was stone cold, I couldn't even open the door, it is obvious in the video.
even RPMS holding over 900rpms
Yeah... i have 3 lines when my motor is all warmed up and stays there. So either you have a broken oiltemp sensor or the engine was already warm.
@@SprinXxy not the case for the LCI, thays only on the pre-LCI.
I have one of these on 257k km, still going great!
Mine is the same car as this. Cold start still 3 bar . Is it broken? Need to change oil temp sensor or it's like that?
you already started once for few seconds for sure. whatever , firsst put ignition with one push buton without clutch and after start it.
No, it was the first start that day.
The rev should be around 1000-1200 for first start after few hours at that temp. After decres down second by second ultin 660 rpm
@@AlexandruPirlogea Well, as you can see in the video, you are wrong.
@@DIYProjectX i am saying how it trully should be, not what you show to us
