Absolutely... And the fact he told that he had a feeling of "happiness" when he discovered her makes absolutely no sense... What one could feel discovering his supposed "abducted" child is in fact lying on the ground in a dark room in your own basement just cannot be "happiness", or relief, as if, for exemple, you were anxiously searching her for a while and finally found her playing in the basement... This has no sense to feel "happy" before you even made sure she's alive and well, especially if she doesn't seem so at all...

I was a PM 40 years ago. I recall parents being physically restrained so we could work on the child. Even a simple broken bone would cause major drama. Listen to the 911 calls now available. People who have murd3r3d their own children tend to be calm. Or fake hysterics. In this situation, money talks....loudly. Sad

"Acceptance of victim's death" is actually one of the check boxes the FBI use to determine a guilty 911 caller (one involved in the death of the victim.) Innocent people will usually be in denial of the death, or simply uncertain.

The police are entirely to blame for it, imo. They didn't search the house properly. Didn't secure the house. Allowed half the neighborhood to roam the house at will. Allowed John and friend to search the house later. Allowed the body to be contaminated by being covered with two different items. Etc.

The Ramseys didn't act like parents who just unexpectedly lost their golden child in such a brutal and tragic way. They always had a calmness and coldness to them because mentally they were at peace with JBs death, they knew what happened. They weren't sick to their core and asking "why."
    And they are defensive.
I feel nothing when they talk. Whereas a parent showing true emotion would make me sob.

I don't believe The Ramseys did not know the secret service examined the RN. There was not some similarities in the RN of Patsy's handwriting. There were many. Cena Wong was a handwriting expert and she said Patsy definitely wrote that RN. I don't believe the Ramseys put the white blanket over JonBenet to keep her body temperature from getting colder to make it look like she died sooner than later. They were not doctors to know something like this. This was a gesture that somebody close to her killed her. Who does not know their own handwriting. Keep lying Patsy.

It’s a sick situation. Patsy had vicarious control of JonBenet and the pageant showings. John led the investigation from the get go to fit the break in narrative. The ransom note was there to buy time and broaden the case for possible outside perpetrators. The interviews with John and Patsy are hard to watch because there’s no grief or guilt in their tone. Innocent people do not lie and change their stories the way Ramseys have always done. That’s the biggest red flag for me other than the fact that John and Patsy did _nothing_ to even try to cooperate with law enforcement. Nothing to even try to help find the “real” killer.
Say the police were just out to get them and have them wrongfully convicted. With their wealth they would have been protected from any such charges if they were truly innocent.
Ironically, that same wealth shielded them from being rightfully convicted for JonBenet’s death.

IT WAS NOT BURKE. See Cyril Wcht's analysis. The garrote and arm and leg bindings show bdsm fantasy gone wrong. Accidental death. The head wound was after death to try to camouflage and distract from the sex crime and stage as a fall or accident. There is absolutely no reason to take the time to create a garrote, which is fashioned to slowly tighten and loosen around the neck, except to satisfy a sadistic sexual fantasy. MEN COMMIT THESE CRIMES. Men have intense, secret sexual fantasies and lives. Men have sadistic kinks and strange fetishes. Men commit sexual abuse of children. Men commit incest. All it takes is Narcissistic Personality Disorder to cross these unthinkable boundaries. See Trump and Ivanka and Miss America Marilyn Van Derbur's abuse story to see that this depravity happens among the wealthy. Some say Edie Sedgwick as well. Mothers and prepubescent children do not commit these crimes. A man did it. Who was the man of the house?

What bothers me is this : 1 ) The " ransom note ", said We have your daughter.
2 ) The “ kidnappers”, had to know exactly where her bedroom was.How to get up there, how to get to the basement and which door led to the room with the broken window. They really had to know the entire house. You wouldn’t know where the bedroom was, just from looking at it from the outside.
    3) If they got in by said window, they had to know even more about the layout of the house and how to get to her room, that was on the opposite end of the house.
    4) No footsteps in the snow.
    5) The kidnappers had plenty of time to try first to write one note, then write a 3 pages long essay.
    6) A kidnapper ( or two), wouldn’t have left her body in the house, if the whole thing was about the ransom money. How many kidnapped children/adults, have been found dead after receiving the money. That throws the leverage out the window.
    6) No phone call what so ever.
    7) The parents filled the house with people. That was I my mind intentionally done. So many people would leave fingerprints, footprints and dna all over the place.
8 ) If they were so concerned about their son’s safety, they wouldn’t have stayed inside but had run to a neighbor, so even the slightest evidence would have been found.
I think it was Burke. He was jealous, she got all the attention, she came down ate pineapple from his bowl, she wanted to play with his things, he got mad and hit her with the flashlight.

The JonBenet Ramsey murder case has bothered me from the very start: too many discrepencies, strange coincidences, illogical explanations, irrational delays in calling the authorities, and way too many unrelated people traipsing through the house when and where only the police should have been allowed. Too bad Lieutenant Joe Kenda had already retired by then.

Patty Ramsey had been a beauty queen, so she might have been reliving her glory days through her young daughter.

Why would John spread it out on the floor for heaven's sake?? That's just awkward. A normal person, if it were a real ransom note, would be examining it closely, picking it up, putting it down, rereading it, etc. You're not going to be thinking about not leaving fingerprints and preserving the note in pristine condition so only the perp's fingerprints are on there! John didn't sexually abuse her, Santa didn't do it. The house keeper lady didn't do it .That creep Olivia didn't do it. That "I want attention" pedo J.M. Carr didn't do it. Also, many people had keys to house, including neighbors across street, the Whites, and the father-in-law lived in the area. Why would John Ramsey break into his own house, especially through that difficult window. He had money so he could have called a locksmith. If an intruder was in the house for hours, there should have been lots of evidence. Don’t think it could have been Santa with that long beard. She knows that law enforcement is going to find her a match because she knows she wrote it. There is no need to call them and ask if it matched. What she needs is to go through 5 of their own experts to get the answer they want. I think if Lou Schmidt wouldn’t have concluded that the killer came through the basement window, they would have replaced him with other private investigators that could give them what they wanted to hear. When you are innocent you know every aspect of what’s going on and are willing to freely talk about anything. If you’re guilty you know if you talk too much, something may get revealed that you don’t want.

Police told them they couldn't leave so they stayed with friends.

Neither John or Patsy ever really cried in grief over Death of their daughter. Never showed anger for whomever did this horrible disgraceful offense to their daughter. Always collected and cal and how could one be if they truly had no idea who did this . I’d be out of my mind angry, desperate in finding the responsible party who did this to their flesh and blood .

A summary.... John's original plan was to fly Burke and Patsy to their other house then fly back to get rid of her little body. No police....but Patsy only read we have kidnapped your daughter and she did what mothers do ran to find her child crying my baby my baby. Patsy called police. John wrongly assumed Patsy had read 3 pages but she didn't. John's plan changed to messing up the crime scene. John told Patsy to ring their friends to come round. Everyone touched his note. Burke and Patsy never had knowledge...

The ransom note was obviously written by a woman for far more reasons than were listed in this video. A man couldn't have written something this dumb with a gun held to his head. And by saying that, I mean no insult to women. I'm thinking more like when Mark Twain told his wife, who had started cussing at him, "honey, you know the words, but you don't know the tune."

John plays dumb to the point of actually being comical its so transparent .... one certainly doesn't need to be Sherlock Holmes to identify this families involvement... only question for me is; why did the authorities back off so easily in the face of all these obvious high percentage clues of involvement?

There’s an interview 20 years after with a lead detective. He states they were being handcuffed from the start. Couldn’t process evidence or get warrants. The DA was protecting the Ramseys all along. John was a big supporter and donated money. Even after the decision from grand jury to indict the DA threw it away.

Patsy was very well presented in all the pics going back years: well groomed, nice clothes, neat and tidy. So what the heck was going on in that home? They had a housekeeper, but it was filthy and disorganised with junk worthy of a hoarder. Not just the basement, living room and jb bedroom. Look at the pics of the kitchen work surfaces and table. That kind of crap doesn’t accumulate in 24hrs. It looks insanitary. So what was the underlying psychodynamic going on in that home?

Also, regarding the handwriting rebuttal, not once does Patsy acknowledge that the parents will always be the first to be investigated, so coming off as defensive, or rather being defensive, shows some shade of guilt. She had no idea her handwriting was sent to the FBI, and how dare they without first asking her. (That was sarcasm).

So, John Ramsey is trying to distance himself from having the ability to handle ropes and knots?
He also, mentions the window and glass as though it were a discovery, only later to state that he had previously broken the window?
And, yes, he absolutely preceeds through his statement from the perspective of the intruder/killer. He seems to be going through what he did when he "found" her in the order of what happened with the last thing he did being the first thing he says.
I dont know if he killed his daughter; but it sure seems like he is the one who tied her up in the basement.
Jesus. What kind of cold-hearted bastard could do that, for any reason?

    1. The window always baffled me. How is it that the window wasn't fixed asap with children in the house after John claimed to have broken it the summer before? Fleet in the movie seemed to acknowledge the window right away. Unless he wanted to confront John about it. I didn't know John said he went in the basement around 10 am that morning. I think he broke that window and left it open to stage the breakin theory. (Or Fleet) I also believe John already knew JonBenet was in that basement at that time. Probably the reasonn he went straight to John Benet. If someone was trying to escape through that particular window, why use a suitcase instead of a chair? An adult would think to use a chair. A child...well. Why the suitcase was there in front of the window with a children's book and a blanket inside of it? Looks like someone did attempt in a childish way try to escape in a panic but gave up on the idea
    2. I don't understand why the detective didnt try to find a way to open the door to the room JonBenet was found in. Doesn't make sense because if this case was a drug raid, they would've broken down that door. How is it John didn't know JonBenet was dead? Her body was stiff as a board when he lifted her up off of the floor. The knots in the cord being hard to loosen is bogus because it was loosened on top of her sleeves.
    3. I definitely think Patsy wrote that note. The evidence doesnt point to anyone else unless the housekeeper wrote it. The housekeeper had a pad from the Ramsey's home as well. (I dont think thats the case though)
    4. There is no way JonBenet and Burke was asleep in their beds because if that was the case, JonBenet's sweater she wore that night wouldn't be on the edge of the bed. Someone had to have changed her clothes in order for her to be in the long johns when she was found. Burke was not sleep the entire time on the day Patsy was supposed to have found the ransom note.
    5. I think the "DNA" was planted on JonBenet
    6. I think one of the officers helped cover up the crime scene. Maybe the same one that didn't open the door to the seller.
    7. I think someone killed Michael and planted evidence to fit the scene (They may even have persuaded him to help cover up the scene...blackmail) because he was a great fall guy. He was a known criminal that had access to the home.
    8. Answer this, why is it the Ramseys backstabb the Whites. What happened between them? Sometimes when a team work together to either cover up or do a crime, they start pointing fingers at one another.
    9. JonBenet didn't die on the 25th because the neighbor heard her scream around 1am on the 26th. How is it no one in the house heard the scream but the neighbor did?
    10. I also think that John's job has something to do with this situation because of the $118,000. There was a "misunderstanding" about that bonus. I think John may have stolen that money from that previous employer. Otherwise, why would that bonus be so significant.
    11. I think Patsy was upset with John about something because of the way she looked at him sometimes.
    12. Who ever did kill JonBenet was in the house while Detective Arnt was in the house. She was afraid for her life.
    13. Who ever made that "garotte" made it in that house. Someone was referring to the Boy Scout book that was on the basement floor. I also think the marks on JonBenet came from one of the train track parts from the train room. JonBenet couldve been killed in that room.
    14. I think there is a strong indication that Burke could have been involved. "Were not speaking with you". The way they did everything in their power to protect him. The interview he had with the psychiatrists shows that Burke knew beforehand about the bowl of pineapple. He even gave an indication of how JonBenet was snuck down into the basement and hit in the head.

Burke must have used that big ole flashlight to clobber his sister over the head. The flashlight was wiped clean of prints and so were the batteries. They would have called 911 for their daughter, but JBR had been s/a also. That on top of the head clobber, they couldn't take the chance of losing burke. So the dad staged the scene.
