In love with this movie. Once again this is a movie that demands to be watched over and over because of the brilliant set pieces and choregraphed scenes that are executed with precision. Simply so much going on that you might miss the first time watching. I still find new things in the life aquatic.
Wes Anderson you are the greatest filmmaker of all time. I cannot wait to see this movie. The humor and intricacies in all of your movies is something that I have never before seen captured the the extent which you have done so well time and time again. You are a brilliant human being, you deserve a lifetime achievement award.

I don't know all of Wes Anderson's movies, but i did enjoy the Life Aquatic. I can see that the humor in the movie isn't for everyone, but that movie gets me every time. I laugh and i cry. I feel like the direction of that film was to show Mr. Zissou coming to terms with his own mortality. I thought it was beautiful; now, judging solely from that, if this movie has the same look and feel of Life Aquatic, i will enjoy it. I am looking forward to see it.

Try seeing all the other Wes Anderson films. Best to view his whole body of work, and even then you might not understand. A lot of people don't. :) One thing his films are though, is very beautiful to look at so worth seeing them for that reason alone.

I'd love to make films one day, and would love to have feedback on some of my work. I'm re-making a version of his short 'Bottle Rocket' soon. Don't copy him by remaking something he's done, make your own film, make it your way. Don't copy anyone. Learn what they've done and why and then throw it out and do something else entirely.

The English have John Cleese but not really because he lives in California these days. He is our unofficial ambassador, spreading our zeitgeist or lack thereof one frame at a time.
