I drive my perfect E65 since 2008 and I am happy with this great car having now 419.000 km without major problems - my next BMW will be another E65, est. the 750i, these cars are really better than the cars of today whether BMW or Mercedes or any other.
Really nicely done video! I think now is the time to buy E65/66 at rock bottom price, providing you are handy with spanners, laptops, fibre optics, hydraulics... (I got mine a month ago)
I have a 2007 E66 760Li which I love greatly and cannot imagine myself ever getting rid of it. Call me biased but I find the E65/E66 have aged very well with its looks in comparison to new cars available today. Although certain parts relating to the V12 are expensive it is well worth it for what the car is and never fails to make me smile when I drive it!!
Despite my love for Mercedes and its entire lineup, far more than BMW, this particular car from BMW (E65) was significantly better. It featured groundbreaking internal technology and bold design compared to its competitor from Mercedes at the time (W220), which suffered from a classic and conservative approach in comparison to the BMW. It also faced issues with its air suspension system in versions equipped with it. Despite the (ugliness) of the E65’s design-keeping in mind that design is entirely subjective and a matter of personal taste-after nearly a quarter of a century since its production, I believe its appearance is now quite acceptable, even beautiful at times. Sometimes, a design is not immediately understood but becomes appreciated after several years. This gives me hope that one day I might come to accept the design of the latest generation of the BMW 7 Series (G70), which I currently consider one of the most unattractive designs ever produced by the Bavarian manufacturer.

Best BMW ever. Controversial? Yes.
Alpina B7 e65 is a dream car. Looks, sounds and drives better then the new ones.
agree with you sir !
I really like the interior of these I’m just still not a fan of the outside. I wouldn’t say no to owning one though!
I really like my E65, but my goodness is it a pain in the neck when the fiber optics have issues.

Could you please tell me where the first video footage is from, and could you share the link? Thank you.

If dad gives you 1500-2000euros for economic and reliable vehicle, trust me, this is the best choice
