- Just a quick semi-unboxing and review of my new Chanel bag!
As I mentioned in the video - that the dimensions of the Classic and Chevron are different - they are actually the same!
So both jumbo bags measure to 11.8″ W X 7.7″ H X 3.9″ D.

Hi, beautiful bag! I believe this is also part of the classic flap family, just a different pattern, I'm very sure the price is the same as the quilted classic flap that's why you were given the box and dust bag. Thanks for sharing xo

Love your bag! I just bought a medium caviar with SHW but now I don't know if I should get the lambskin one with GHW. For some reason I want to really get the classic and also I have noticed that some caviar flaps easily wear off in the corners and I have not seen lambskin bags that wear off that quickly on YT, so may I ask you what leather would you choose for your first chanel?
And if you have caviar bags, which one ages better in terms of the leather not wearing off?

In regards to the leather, i have this one (which is lambskin), a patent leather, and my mom has a caviar leather. I take really good care of my bags, but the lambskin one does scratch A LOT easier, so you have to be extra careful with that one. So if you want a bag that you don't really have to care after, i would definitely go for the caviar. I'm not too sure what you mean by the corners and the bag wearing off because the leather is of great quality, so it shouldn't be a problem. Personally, I don't really like caviar leather just because I don't like how the grain looks. But it is definitely a personal choice :)

Which Chanel boutique did you purchase your bag from? I went to the Chanel in Orlando, Florida on May 31st and was told by my SA that the bag didn't come in gold hardware and I knew that it did! Love your bag!
Rebecca Herold i got this in Toronto, mid-March! The Chevrons that were in stores that time all had gold hardware, so that's really weird that your SA said that. Thank you & thanks for watching!
+Rebecca Herold I was told the same by several SA's. I was told that for the spring and summer releases, the Chevron comes with silver hardware. Maybe she got hers in another (e.g. fall) collection.

I bought the same exact bag from Turkey. the woman in the store told me that this will a classic bag which I wanted to ask u the same. will it be a classic because I live in the middle east and no one has this bag they all have the classic flap. I also did not see it in the official chanel website so I was wondering in your opinion will this also be a classic bag or no. thank you
+663marv this came out at the same time as the all black chevron, and that was on the website. There was also a bright pink one in the store when I went in to buy this bag. So it should be a classic because I see them coming out with different colours now, seasonally, so it's probably here to stay :)
hi dear how is it holding up? do you use it regularly? scratches/ wear and tear?
hello! so i don't get the chance to use this bag regularly, but because it's such soft leather, minor scratches are apparent on the bag. I'm always super careful with my bags, but there are minor markings on it. Other than that, there are no signs of wear. hope that helps.

Your georgeus chanel bag is a chevron chanel bag, it is not the classic 2.55 chanel bag but is so beautiful
