  • THE SILHOUETTE SHADOW KNIFE EMERGES FROM THE MURKY DARKNESS TO SHOW HIS TRUE POWER! Yet another boss I've been eagerly awaiting to show off. Not my finest work this time around regarding the footage, though that's to be expected with the mood I was in I guess. Despite that I think I still showcased his potential well enough.
Much love and appreciation to my current channel members:

The legend himself. Here's some extra notes as usual on my experience with him:
Considering we're talking about the boss version of the literal most broken party member in the entire game, it's no surprise this edgelord's an absolute beast.
SK definitely contends with Ike-P for viability at the very least, though I'd wager Koike might be *a bit* better due to his just...absurd DPS. Honestly if SK can land his attacks and get his buff up he's an absolute menace and his accuracy tends to be respectable enough to do that consistently. His minor issue of not correcting his direction to the enemy you choose with attacks like Justice Rising, all of his projectile attacks properly track which in most cases makes up for this shortcoming. As mentioned in the video I got cocky during testing while I wasn't recording and managed to solo 3 digiheads with him that included like two level 50+ and a level 68. But when I tried to actually get footage of that I of course got shafted multiple times and given my mind wasn't in the best shape at the time I just opted to pass on it. I will note just because it was possible doesn't mean it's *easy* per say if my failed attempts are anything to look at. Shadow Knife can (very ironically) be prone to getting bullied and overwhelmed if there are too many enemies to take on at once. If they're clumped together he can deal with them decently enough, but his biggest weakness besides his average attack speed is definitely spread out foes... Even that in mind though his toolkit has just about every effective thing you'd want to abuse in the game while having style to boot. Dawn of Justice is not only probably the most badass boss ultimate in the game, but it's style matches its kill power. The usual question is even bigger in this case: is he better than his player self? Honestly debatable since it's kind of hard to contend with pocket god mode. Boss Shadow Knife is definitely his own unique kind of fun to use though, probably more than the party member version given the more unique attacks that aren't just straight copies of Izuru.
Honestly can't believe we still have at least like 5 of these to do still. That said...WE ALL KNOW WHO'S COMING UP NEXT!!!

Ahh, the Silhouette Shadow Knife Daiki Yamada. A character so edgy the game lists his trauma as “Edgelord.”

Ah Yamada, oh how I love you. I already had a blast using him normally but now he's come closer to the all powerful god that he can be.
Already the fact he has skills to hit downed enemies is a huge perk, though taking that power also caught the side effect of being an anime character and having to monolog before every attack. The risk building is psychotic though not on the levels on "The Risk Pimp" himself Boss Ike-P, and him having stun is a no brainier. (You'd understand if you played his dungeon.) Those floating swords he's got are on Lucilius levels of damage and destruction, and that image of bubs getting skewered popped into my head when describing them. That buff is insane, and I need to see what he can do with it and other buffs applied. Probably a normal Ike-P/Izuru for Sense of Justice and either Naruko for Rift Splicer, Kensuke for Sense of Glory, Thron for Blood Scent, or any other ally buffs that isn't The Queen Bitch or SP buffs. AND HOLY FUCK THAT ULT!!!
Now to take the 2 versions and combine them into the TRUE god of shadows. HE WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE!!!!!

"Risk Pimp" HA. That's genius. It's hard to tell which of them has higher DPS. Best part of Dawn of Justice is that it's basically almost the same speed as everything else which gives some incentive to spam it. Also noticed that because of how some of his attacks work, he can sometimes effectively attack two enemies in different directions at the same time (rising slash of justice rising hits in front of him while the follow-up shots attack an enemy that he targeted behind him).
Honestly merging the boss and party versions could be an angle for the full mod idea of this game I want to make...if I ever figure out how to do more with that stuff anyway. I thought of just replacing them with the boss forms outright initially.

Ah Yes... one Of my Favorites While being My Most Frightening Enemy In The First Game If He Had His Shadow Spawn He Would be Too Broken... They Nerfed him Because Hes Too Powerful. Great Video as Allways!

Oh yeah if his summon worked like summon skills did in 2 it'd be no contest. Even without it he's definitely still pretty good. With how Shadow Spawn would've functioned if you used it in the 2nd game, it kinda just shows how differently they both work.
