O.J. had plenty of time to justify his actions, hide his money and make amends to his kids. He did what he needed to do to survive. He was able to live off his pension quietly in Florida, all of his children were at his bedside when he died. I doubt there is much money for his heirs or anyone else.

@benbarak, no he's not. He's just doing his job. Goldmans are greedy gold diggers at this point still chasing someone who's dead. So there goes their excuse that they were just pursuing justice and wanted to ruin his life while he was alive. What's their excuse now that he's gone? Not a good look for them at all.

OJ declared bankruptcy in Florida. While he was in prison in Nevada his house in Florida was forclosed on. He rented a house and leased vehicles while in Vegas. His NFL pension is exempt from creditors. He owes substantial debt to the IRS.
His executor will hire accountants to do a final accounting of the estate. If anything is left ( which I highly doubt) the creditors will be noticed by probate court documents.
The distribution generally be as follows:
1st Funeral expenses paid
2nd Executor and Accountants paid
3rd. IRS
4th Secured Creditors
5th Unsecured Creditors
6th Beneficiaries named in will
That will end it.

I get the distinct impression they will have better luck finding money in that vault. From personal experience I can tell you that no one wants to hear there is no money. It was a tragedy what happened to Ron And Nicole but I have always wondered how OJ got acquitted and next found liable for the same hayness crime??? I personally felt like it was a little double jeopardy involved with even allowing a civil trial to take place.

It’s over now and I am truly sorry”. - and then he should have met his obligation to The Goldman’s who won that lawsuit to which he never paid one penny. He could have gone out in a different way - maybe he said something to someone on his deathbed that hasn’t been disclosed yet ? - but probably not. He will forever be known as a heinous murderer and coward.

This case will always be racially divided. No one has been able to explain how one man can kill 2 people at the same time without shooting them. These murders were committed by a professional. There is no proof that OJ Simpson murdered his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson or Ron Goldman. Nicole was a drug addict who lived on her ex-husband's property. She could not have been too afraid of OJ. He financially supported the entire Brown family. My condolences to the Simpson family. They are entiled to OJ's estate.

Before I continue, I personally do believe that because those lawyers were never going to come cheap. That was causally revealed, while being interviewed by Louis Theroux (a British documentary film maker), while on the driving range.
When the families of BOTH Nicole Simpson & Ron Goldman launched the civil case against O.J. Simpson, it was then revealed, the sole reason why O.J Simpson did NOT end up on the street is because (& for whatever the reason/s), the courts could NOT touch his $500,000 per year N.F.L pension.
In regards to the state of his finances AFTER the trial, I'll NEVER forget hearing the above.
