If you put some masking- or washi-tape underneath the wire before applying the UV-Resin, it won't leak.

You are so pleasant to listen to. You are also an excellent teacher. I am very new to wire wrapping and clay jewelry. My first experience wire wrapping was not successfully. You know a very easy way to get rid of the bubbles is to gently go over the top of the Resin using a source of heat, I.e: a flame or a heat gun, etc.... I find this much better than trying to pop the bubbles. Your ideas have given me sooooooo many ideas to do things, and I guess a much lighter bank account LOL. But thanks I appreciate your teaching, your work and your humming/singing! Cheers, Sean

I'm a nail techcand you can definitely use UV Gel as a resin. It's much much cheaper too! You can use builder gels, gel topcoats and gel polishes. I've been experimenting with all three with good results. Tip: if you use thicker builder gel, turn it over and let it settle then turn it right side up before curing. Love your channel, binge watch all the time!!

Wow, what a great technique, I love it. For myself I really like the polymer clay leaf although they are both really pretty. I saw a tip somewhere that used silly putty around the piece before you pour and it keeps the liquid in if it is runny. I can't keep up with all your great ideas but I sure am having a great time trying! Thank you.

I wonder if you took a little petrolium jelly on a toothpick and placed it(the jelly) at the opening where the solution spills out if it would act as a temporary retaining wall, long enough to spare spillage. Or wipe some on the outside of the wire or inside the hole before filling and curing. It might cut back on trim time on the outside due to spillage.

There are some great ideas for using the one with alcohol inks in all of these replies.
