I think you misunderstood me.....I meant that in recent times America has not been threatened with invasion , but when we were in World War 2 Americans came ove to Europe to fight with us,.

@@claudiakarl7888 no darling ! See you don’t know what you’re talking about! There wasn’t a war going on at that time. Do you know any history? If you knew what was happening then you would understand. I hated the Viet Nam war it was useless! I hated the President Johnson. George HW Bush for lying about weapons of mass destruction! I’m from the old school who believes in doing what’s right and good for everyone everywhere. Before Johnson took power our country was a great place to live. When evil men came in it was impossible to change things. We are trying hard under cover to change things better for ourselves and others. My first President was great General Eisenhower, and then John F Kennedy who was murdered. I was in the 3rd grade fast forward I was 14 when MLK, and Bobby Kennedy was murdered. @@Kathie-np8ge I think you misunderstand, the US didn't help out of the goodness of their hearts, for one, the US entered the war years after the war was raging, but more importantly, the US had to enter the war because of how quickly the war was escalating, in that if the US didn't enter the war, eventually the war could have ended up expanding directly on the US.
Seriously, we would have to be fools to think the Nazis would stop where they were, they likely would have taken the UK out and with that, had far more resources to take Russia on, if the Nazis got to that stage, which without US help, it very likely could have done, that would have given the Nazis far more resources and like I said, we would have to be fools to think the Nazis would have stopped at that stage, in other words, the threat would likely be far bigger for the US if the US didn't step into the war early on.
In the end, it was all self-interest, and besides, Europeans were grateful for US help during those times, but that doesn't mean you have to throw it in our faces all the time, the world has moved on and I think what you are really trying to say is that Europeans should be externally grateful to the US by aiding them in any ventures the US wants, which is just stupid, and in the end, Europeans have paid the US back more than enough since then, but it sounds like we should be constantly be paying the US for the help they did or should always side with US policy around the world, which like I said, that's just stupid.
At the end of the day, we are thankful for the help, you've been paid back, now shut it lol.
People rarely or never think about the following - when they talk about the USA: The USA consists of and is the largest mixture of people from all over the world, cultures and not least religions. That they have influence in many places is not surprising - that they have opinions about many things in other countries is also not surprising. The United States consists of immigrants and after several generations and because most have a much better education in the United States than in many countries, these generations will express their opinions about the country their ancestors came from - Most have a connection point to the country they originally came from . This must be taken into account every time you talk negatively about the United States because most people on this earth are a bit nationalistic towards the country they originate from and want to keep a part of their own culture.
Well the willingness to fight I would say it's true for most of the developed countries, or more likely those with an army that transitioned to a professional army, as people are more looking towards peace. But that being said, I think in reality if a war broke out, we would all fight. I mean yes I would fight for my country happily, but I don't know if that would be true for all people in France, also a large part of our demographics comes from immigration and the attachment to their new country might not be as strong, the same way now that I am franco-british, if there was a war I would probably defend France rather than the UK
I mean of course nobody knows what they would really do when faced with the situation for real, but the rethoric of not being ready to fight for one's country in peace time is I believe pretty normal and probably always was like that, even 200 years ago, but I could be wrong

They bombed Serbia that stood up against Nazis and in one occasion saved American pilots. Seem that US deep state is same as one that had controlled Germans. You have probably never heard of this.
About that freedom thing: yes, it's true that there are many countries in Europe, still, where the citizens are not free to speak and/or be what they are and/or do what they want. (Just think about Russia, for example?) 😢 I wonder, from which country that lady was from, or where she came from..? 🤔😔
