Check fuel pressure? Fuel pressure under a load. Definitely need to hook the afr guage back up. See how much voltage the pump is seeing. Check your connections. Good luck.
It goes to real shop next week to fix the issues and Re-Tune. Getting a new AFR Gauge too.

It’s the fuel pump for sure I have a bbk 300 Lph fuel pump mine and you can’t even hear it prime at all sometimes your fuel pump is wineing like I’m almost 100 percent you will have low fuel pressure and it could be fuel filter after running e85 corn
One thing that jumps out at me is the sound of that pump while it's priming. Second, the pump shouldn't prime that long so that's odd. Another thing is, you need a handheld device that's dedicated to this car so you can datalog what's going on. Knowing things like pump duty cycle and rail pressure would be very helpful, especially when you go to drive the car. And a wideband is 100% MUST on any boosted vehicle. I'd install that back in the car before going any further. I'm definitely leaning toward fuel pump or associated wiring on this one.
With the pump sounding like that, I would start there!!

Check your camshaft phaser sensor i had that same issue ( boosted 2v ) and it would shut off and wouldn't start again until cooled down. Its fixed now

Love the new car. It looks like you have a 4.6 intake manifold with adapter plates possibly. I have read online that the 5.4 engine using adapter plates tends to have issues with fuel atomization, particularly in supercharged cars. I am not super knowledgeable in this area, but may be a path worth looking at.

my 03 cobra had 2 issues, it was backfiring, at first it was the fuel pump, it would stall out when i drove it in the heat and wouldnt crank up for hours,the 2nd issue was it needed to be tuned.after that no issues

The prime time and pump noise dont sound right. I had a 340 in mine and it wasnt near as noisy.
Idk if you already fixed it but if you haven’t that’s a bad ground to the frame my Camaro did the exact same thing
You have an X4, pull up the gauges on it and view the Fuel pressure when it starts doing the bucking. Also, I would wire in that wideband first opportunity you get, it'll tell all as well
I would view the fuel press before taking to a shop, it'll show you if it's a pump or not... should be consistently 38 - 42 psi range, if its lower than 35 that's your issue.
X4 synced to my GT350. I tried that it won’t connect unfortunately.

@@EarsPOV Just check it with a fuel pressure gauge. That pump should be shutting off when the rails are pressurized. Your fuel pressure sensor could be shot.
I have a 2000 mustang with cams and it bucks at around 1500-1800 rpm tuner says it’s just a tradeoff with cams in these cars because they hate hate hate low rpm especially aggressive cams but that could only be part of the issue it seems like it’s bucking way too much just to be cams maybe a dynotune next?
I don't know what kind of cam it has but it's bucking In a way that makes me wonder if the tune is off by a lot, do you know if it was dyno tuned or mail in tuned, because if it was a mail in tune it's possible they messed it up pretty bad. I am loving the new content and I'm glad to see a 2v back in your possession, Keep up the good content and keep us updated with this car.
My GT500 ran great for months. Out of nowhere, I had what seemed like a fuel problem. It ended up just being the harness that led to the supercharger intercooler pump.
Hmmm so hard to tell this is what Happens when you buy someone else's problem none the less glad your back in a new edge goodluck with the car 👍
Definitely check that out before you start throwing Parts at it it can get expensive

Im just 3/4 of the way tru the video and honestly I think its a tune issue you need to take it to a tuner and I agree with you on hooking up your wideband 02!

Lately imt thinking of going Aces/Lund tune for my 10r80 GT but back in the day I used to go strictly performance for my 2v but i heard they fell off

I believe you have to reprogram the module to the body or something like that cuz a buddy had the same issue and that solved it when he reprogrammed the new module
What brand pump is in the car? It sounds unhappy
My guess its going to be a electrical gremlin or MAF/tune related. But yeah i would buy an sdditional hand held SCT for ths car. I dont think its pump related tbh.

Try to check the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail ....mine was doing the same thing
I had a similar problem with turned out to be a butt connector as it got warm it lost connection so I would check all your wire connections to do with the fueling
I was having a similar issue a couple of months ago, car would bog very bad, and would also have trouble starting sometimes. It wasn’t throwing those same codes but it was throwing codes associated with the fuel pump. Turned out being a bad ground

@@EarsPOVI had a an over heating issue once and could never find out what it was, car sat for 5yrs till I found out it was a ground wire as well making my rpm gauges go haywire, and causing my radiator fan not to turn on hence the over heating issue in my 96 cobra
are you on a return system now? Why doesn't the pump shut off when it reaches pressure? Check the fuel pressure.

I have a modified fpdm with bigger fuse and hot wire. I might be getting rid of. It will let you run 2 pumps with no problem

That's the worst feeling in the world that you know that you're just right there and you have the stupidest little Gremlin hold you up from going on your first real Street test that you get to go almost full throttle and Roar through all the gears patience young one make sure that your fuel is right on when next trip out!

You may have a hole in your gas line. Check your fuel pump inside the tank. I had an issue like that on one of my Mustangs.
I dunno man, im no expert on modified cars but that fuel pump sounds pretty bad. Id start there, then maybe to the fuel regulator maybe?
Might be the filter. Haven't checked that and on E85 ik those go bad

If the car has an inline pump, their diaphragm can burn up and leave them doing that. I’d definitely put a new pump in it, if it’s an inline pump I’d switch back to an in tank pump.
Funny My turbo 2v also starts bucking anytime I wot in 1st and 2nd and pulls fine in 3 4 5 still haven't figured it out

For sure hook the afr up and see if your running rich or lean. When my car was running rich it would buck if I try to get it up to the next gear.
Feels like AFR issue but car ran fine on the test drive lol we’ll see soon enough!

Is the car running a boost a pump? If so that could cause problems when going out

@@EarsPOV gotcha, def an afr issue. I mean since you just bought it might be nice to have those injectors tested, toss in a new fuel pump and really lookout for any vacuum leaks🤙
it wouldnt be bucking low rpm because of the cams would it? idk what cam you have but aggressive cams it would buck. i would also check your evap system if you suspect air issues if it has an egk delete. you can check with the sct on the air fuel ratios if im not mistaken. but if it was running fine before im not sure what you did to her lol

Did the previous owner tell you how long he let it sit with E85 in it? After about two months that stuff starts to crystalize. You may need to clean your fuel system and possibly replace the fuel pump.

Have you had it on a Dyno to know that you're making 650 or was it on an engine dyno?
