I am a new subscriber. I love that you are doing Ren reaction. I suffer from autoimmune disease Crohn's and mental health issues. I suffered all my life until I went down having a violent seizure. I was misdiagnosed until I was hospitalized around 35 years old. I'm 50 now, and this man is a true story teller and he speaks my feelings and what we do go thru. He's the best artist with a range of genres. He's amazing. You guys are awesome

Honestly, I have to listen to him everyday. He sings for many of us who are not able to put in words.

This is a nice book end to Hi Ren. The constant thread being 'hope'.
My eldest is just shy of a year in on a diagnosis of lupus nephritis... the immune system is an amazing thing when it works right. It's a nightmare when it doesn't.
It seems to be a rule of nature that 15 year olds will never willingly enjoy their parent's musical taste, so ren hasn't been a help to the kiddo so much, but he's given me so much hope and insight over the past year.
A fitting month for this to be released, lupus, Lyme disease, M.E., and mental health awareness month.
Same with my son. If he’d found it himself probably a different story. ❤
I'd say the same about finding it themselves, but there must be something else wrong with my kid... something about not being able to put up with the accent, I KNOW that's not from my side of the family.
He gave me the courage to fight for answers , im 59 and been diagnosed with heds and long-term lymes . Nothing that can be done, but at last, I'm at peace with my body . 😌 for this, I'm grateful to this beautiful young man . Oh and I love your reactions ❤
Watching generations of my family suffer I have been searching an the real cause to various issues. I refused fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome even my intestinal problems. Finally somebody mentioned EDS to me looked it up and learned a lot. It will take a bit for a proper diagnosis but atleast I understand MCAS vs incongruent allergies, as well as so many different symptoms became pieces of the puzzle put together. Peace and love

I saw your both enjoying the beat, you should know it's all Ren. This sample he used is by Vera Hall, Trouble So Hard 1930 and Ren mixed & produced it from top to bottom. The last time I heard someone use this sample was in 1999, produced by Moby on his Natural Blues Album. Cheers guys✌

@@AlSnoopsReid No, it's alright, you're correct. TBH I knew it was from the 30's but neglected to look up the exact year. I was only positive of the year Moby' s Natural Blues Album was released because I have it on vinyl record 😁.
Ren was realsing a part of a story a day for about a week until the release of this song about his life which explains alot of this song, and his life. I 100% suggest checking it out. It has some hard moments to listen to, but it really shows the struggles he went though. Its on his second channel Renmakesstuff. Great reaction.

Ren released this track in conjunction with ME Awareness Week; he was misdiagnosed with ME for half a decade, and was involved in the ME community via health blogging and being a part of a documentary on ME called Unrest (for which he wrote a song).
The hashtag for ME Awareness Week is #MillionsMissing, often shortened to #Missing for short, like in Ren's social media profile picture atm. "Posters up, manhunt, Ren went missing" is a double; being so sick and in so much pain, he lost himself... but also, people with ME talk about their illness causing them to go missing from *life,* hence, the hashtag.
Ren promised the ME community that if he ever got "out" he'd try to raise awareness and get help for the people who were still sick and missing.
Well, he got "out" enough to be able to find his feet and re-launch his music career, and fresh off his #1 UK album release, his first original track 6 months afterwards is to help bring attention to ME Awareness Week (and all other debilitating chronic diseases).

Yes, Brian. "Lord I forgive you" is a beautiful flip and it's a phrase I don't think I have heard before. Ren's agnostic but I'm gnostic and we gnostics have a low opinion of the creator God who is seen as an imposter. This God requires our forgiveness. The real God remains hidden. I have ME and am struggling atm and it just feels nice to be acknowldged. Doctors, NHS in general, our government and the DWP and PIP just dont seem to acknoweldge it. Ren and your videos have helped a lot tonight.

He found a tv in an alley and kept smashing it. He took a piece home with him and made a hole in his chest. Hurts because its true. Ren is a treasure, a true blessing to have him make music for us. The goat!

Great reaction as always. The track's meaning reminds me of Ren's "Humble," "As I walk through this life, I might fall, I might stumble / I try to make friends with my pain, 'cause my pain keeps me humble." (Loved your reaction to that song, too.) Both are quite inspirational.
He suffered both extreme pain and extreme fatigue! Those that dont get it, cant get it! It causes the depression/anxiety! Most Drs think the opposite and just want to prescribe antidepressants. He is a new spokesman for the "Millions Missing".

Tucker often pushes his anti-scientific, conspiracy myths - his science denying is dangerous as unfortunately some people mistake him for being a journalist instead of a propagandist. (Remember the court case where his only defence was that no one could take anything he says seriously because he’s not a journalist?)
Lyme disease is not man made, and Tucker pushing that long debunked nonsense is just typical of his misinformation.
I believe the line is "what's the benefit If THIS ABILITY is irrelevant...."? Also Ren has said he is agnostic but likes religious metaphor as a shorthand....check out Eden for a more clear breakdown of this....

You're the second person I have heard say that Johnny Cash covered Nine Inch Nails. It's the other way around LOL Johnny Cash is the father of country he was I believe dead before they even came out
Trent Rezner wrote it in the 90’s. Johnny Cash covered it in 2002.

@@CedricandBrian I see that's what it says on Google but I watched an interview of Johnny Cash from self saying that he wrote that years ago so I have no idea which one to believe now. I'm going to have to find the interview because it's going to really bug me.
But with that I can see that that's why people are saying it because that is what Google says. I just always under the assumption Johnny Cash did have it first because that's what he said in the interview. Now I'm really confused
