I agree..I feel like 95% of MCU should be theatrical-only. Maybe a Disney plus special once in a while...but really, the disneyplus shows just hacked up the fandom and stalled so much momentum after endgame era.
Wonderful stream, Grace. What a joy to spend the afternoon with you. A-lister… holding those opening night Deadpool Wolverine tickets Can’t miss that event!
Lmao the Denzel joke. The funniest joke Grace has made to me is the stream where she kept mentioning how tht celebrity lady has her blocked. Dont rmmber who but Grace kept calling back to it 😂 felt like a legit tight standup routine
I really like the ponytail too. It is a great look on you. That Denzel Washington comment was very unexpected but so hilarious. ALso remember he sponsored Chadwick Bozeman too
When your hair is down you're Madelyne, and when it's in a pony-tail, you're having a Jean day. I've got five seats booked to see Deadpool 3 at IMAX with some friends. Can't wait to see it in 3D!
When Avengers Endgame came out, i went to the mall on the first day, and got a ticket from the kiosk for 11 bucks ab of about fifteen minutes before it started. Sure, it was in the front row(s) and i had to tilt my head back to see everything, but i knew i could get a place.
Asked AMC about the reservation policy. The 3 booking limit total is intentional. Otherwise, A listers can hold 3 reservations per week indefinitely… and the profit margin for movie club members are less than walk-up tickets. AMC’s response was that reservations are more likely to be canceled when they are farther out
Marvel Spotlight is meant to introduce and bring new yet unknown characters to the "spotlight", no pun intended. These characters will soon show up in later films and tv shows with more popular characters. It's the same thing Marvel has been doing but backwards.
Same for Regal Theaters. Can o ly hold 3 movies. I do it for the points tho so we can get free consessions. Sometime u have to book a movie now for a movie a month out for 1,000 to 2,500 points
Thanks for another fun stream, Grace, I had a great time watching as usual. 😊 I've been getting more into superhero media recently after years of being mostly a spectator of the hype (and drama ). I quite enjoyed X-Men '97 and I'll definitely try and find the time to watch the X-Men and Deadpool movies before D&W comes out; I think they're all on Disney+. I wanna be on the hype train too xD Off to watch your new vide now!
In Fact, I was just at the Transformers 40th anniversary Movie and it was showing only a few seats available But when I went the whole row I was on was empty! What gives?
@@raf686 exactly lol I belong to AMC and Cinemark. it makes me and my partner go out to the movies at least twice a month, there is always something to get into
What do people think of the term Children's Crusade? I know it's the title of a Marvel comic and Grace keeps mentioning it but is it appropriate? Historically, the Children's Crusade of 1212 was a failure.
I don’t like going to theaters because the experience isn’t what it used to be, I will only go for a 4DX screening, IF it’s something good, otherwise I can wait for digital or streaming
"Marvel fatigue" yeah whatever. XMen 97 is the best show on TV this year and Deadpool is gonna give water to thirsty theaters. If not for MCU and James Cameron, goodbye cinemas
I'm still not sure about D3 making 1 billion - It's R-rated, limiting it's box office potential - No X-men film has even come close to 1 billion - The Deadpool films had diminishing returns, D2 made less than D1 in its initial run, that shows that a lot of the hype around the first film was a novelty, not like the MCU trilogies which mostly grew with each instalment - The box office has been painfully weak since the pandemic, and almost everything is underperforming - All of the "records" this film have set are a bit shallow and flimsy when you look closer, the trailer view record was artificially inflated by the Superbowl numbers, "best presales of 2024" means little when we've only had 2 major blockbusters so far this year, neither of which did exceptionally well. Outselling the first 2 Deadpool movies, okay? And fastest ticket sales for an R-rated film, again means nothing as there haven't been many R-rated blockbusters. Disney are just grasping at straws for a good headline to please shareholders, it was fine when they were on top, now it's kind of pathetic, like a washed up athlete trying to come out of retirement and prove they've still got it. I think D&W will clear the first 2 films easy, pass 800m, maybe touch 900m, but I'm just not convinced it's passing 1 billion
Terry Matalas turned Picard around from a dud to must see with season 3. As much as I’m mad that Kurtzman went for his Starfleet Academy show instead of allowing Matalas to do his spin off, it’s a win for Marvel and Terry. Very excited
I’ll wait for streaming to watch Deadpool. Since so many marvel movies have been cramming movies with characters and using that as the catch, and they haven’t really been that good….not gonna get my hopes up.
Streaming?? Bruh, that's wild. I mean, you do you. But this definitely feels like a movie to see in the theaters with other people. Even if it isn't good. I saw Rise of Skywalker opening night and the only thing that made it enjoyable was how many people were jeering, laughing and groaning at the movie.
Why aren't the people who think Disney is doing bad things to kids upset about Deadpool when they know darn well a bunch of kids are going to see this?
Kong and God was a tranformer level trash movie. Get back to making monster movies like God vs King G, God vs Muts, Kong vs Skulls, not pink God or some monster that looks like a blue marshmellow. He will not be missed.
Grace really thinks people care what “everyone is talking about.” When I don’t see a movie, and everyone else I know does, that blows over in about 1-7 days. Maybe a total of 60 minutes of conversation over that time. I’m good. Wasting 60 minutes of missed conversation is still less than 120 minutes of corporate slop.
I’m sorry you feel that way. Movies, especially the really good ones, can be such incredible events. And shared events too. I’ll never forget being in Endgame and sharing in a collective gasp and cheering with hundreds of strangers over a story. Then the energy afterward as we all wanted to discuss and speculate. It’s the best and that’s why movies are so special.
The Vision show is in great hands, Terry turned around the train wrecks that the first two seasons of Picard were and delivered what fans wanted the Picard show to be: a TNG reunion show. I'm very excited. Picard season 3 was chefs kiss.
Absolutely disastrous for Matalas to be poached. Many fans were hoping he'd get to show run the much desired Star Trek Legacy series, but I guess that's dead already.
IN AMERICA IT WILL OPEN TO $120 MILLION..IT WILL DO WHAT DEADPOOL MOVIES NORMALLY DO AND THATS $880 MILLION BUT NOT A BILLION BECAUSE DEADPOOL HAS NEVER MADE A BILLION AND DISNEY HAS DESTROYED ITS FANBASE
Grace looking like Elsa!
She's letting the tea go! 🍵
And she’s rocking it
Grace is so natural with these. Good to listen to even when the stories aren't something you'd click on by yourself.
Grace looking like she's about to sing Let It Go. 😂
No I’ve to see Grace change up the hair style, the ponytail absolutely suits you and the way you did it, it’s giving Elsa!
i think marvel just needs to get out of disney plus or they will lose more of their audience ( i say this as someone who like most of those shows)

Deadpool 3 tickets were less than a Spider-Man movie so it was not good.

Super impressed with Grace Randolph's Thundercats knowledge. Huge Thundercats fan here.
